Hello, i have a problem with the telnet/ssh authentifcation : my opmanager works on a linux i have check ssh device => no problem i have try Command Prompt = $ and # but a i always have "The Monitor did not respond to the test request" i have check the logs but nothing appear
Exchange 2003 Monitor
I'm trying to monitor a Exchange 2003 server with Opmanager. As you can see in the attached file i can see some data coming in. Though i can't see the data in the "mailbox", "public", etc category. I've pointed to the correct pub and priv files locations. Any suggestions / sollution ?

By default the Service Monitors are set to attention, and I would like to set it to Critical for some services. I have 162 servers I would like to do this to. Is there a way to do this globally?

Hello all, I'm trying to do some direct SQL requests in OPManagerDB for internal needs (Web portal), and quite all "complicated" queries does not work. I can see MySQL DB version is 4.0.18-nt , which is an old one. Can we upgrade it to 4.1 or 5.0 without damaging OPManager application ? Is there an official way to do it ? Hi, After upgrade my OpManager to 7200 version, it don't start, just show invalid license file message, error code 535. The support team in Brazil (Inspirit) recommended follow the steps below: First, they send the opmanager_license.xml file. I follow their instructions but the problem continues. Then, they instruct these steps: 1) Stop the service Opmanager; 2) Stop the processes JAVA, APACHE, WRAPPER e MYSQL ou MSSQL. 3) Paste the files petinfo.dat and product.dat in the directory bellow: <Opmanager-home>\AdventNet\ME\OpManager\classes

Problems connecting to MSSQL 2005 after 7.2 upgrade

Server Process Monitors well but wrong CPU(%) value
Opmanage Monitoring Server proccess run ok. But the maximun CPU (%) for one program proccess alway 12.5% (see attach file) During here , on Server that Program used over 50% CPU. I don't know why? help me know. Thanks
Processes and Filesystems monitoring
Hi, I have a problema here about monitoring Linux processes and filesystems. I configured the snmpd.conf on each device correctly, got the OIDs correctly and everything was perfect until now. To add a monitor with an OID i have to go to linux templates, and each process OID will be diferent on devices (the OID on each process will be made by the "Proc process" order on snmpd.conf) It would be solved if i could add a monitor individually on devices without adding them on the device templates. Failure after migration to step 7200
Hello, after installing the Servicepack/Patch 7200 OPManager can't monitor process monitors. I deleted the monitors and want to create them new but then there is only thin error message: Error # Query was not syntactically valid. Contact support with logs. Startup URL
We installed OpManager on a remote PC used for monitoring When OpManager starts, it automatically tried to open 'localhost:8081' How do we either: (1) Stop OpManager from automatically opening the URL (we still want it running as a service) - we don't use this monitoring PC locally OR (2) How do we change the default startup URL from 'localhost:8081' to 'xyz.com:8081' - our SSL certificate recognizes xyz.com but gives us an invalid certificate error when trying to load 'localhost' Thank you
Disk Utilization for individual disks?
Hi I see your Disk Utilization seems to present some kind of average for all disks in the monitored server, but this isnt very helpful to me because if my server total disk size is 100Gig and my C: drive has only 200Mb free, but my D: drive has 50 Gig free, I do not want to see 50% free! I need to configure alerts so that i'm alerted to the critically low space on drive C: Can you help? THanks
NetWare Disk Utilization
I downloaded the OpManager Trial to see if it would work in my environment. I like it a lot and it does a great job with my Windows servers, but not so much with my NetWare servers. I can't get disk monitoring to work, but it appears to be supported, the product pages state NetWare is supported, I am on 6.5. Does this feature work with NetWare? Thanks, Matt
MSSQL Monitors
Is there a way to set up the MSSQL monitors so that when a threshold is hit it will show an alarm of Attention and send out en email to the Attention profile if it hits the next threshold of trouble that it sends it out an email to a Trouble profile and if it hits a critical threshold to send out an email to a Critical profile?
ICMP only, no SNMP
Hi, we�ve a lot devices (i.e. Servers) which we don�t want to monitor with SNMP. Periodical checks with ICMP would be sufficient. But if i�ll add a device manually (Admin -> Add Device) at the OP-Probe i have to configure SNMP Parameters. It seems theres is no possibility to add a device without SNMP Parameters?
UnManage reports
Do you have any reports in OpManager which can give me a list of unmanaged URL's / Servers / Interfaces in OpManager. Its difficult to track changes when multiple administrators make changes in OpManager and for example a server is left unmanaged without another administrator knowing it. You have any ways by which this can be tracked?
AIX Monitoring - Problem with Memory Utilization

It would be jolly nice to have a built in NTP server to sychronise things I can't discover a network in OpManager 7 172.18.4.0/30, I just get a message that the mask is incorrect The networks map doesn't show my network correctly, it would be really nice to be able to move things around and put in the links that are missing. SP2 Reports - why change them?
I have just tested the upgrade to build 7200 and I see the All Servers Availability Report has been changed from giving total downtime in hrs/min to %. How can I get the hrs/mins report back as 0.377% is meaningless compared to 36min, 16sec. I also notice the data doesnt match eg 7025 - gives up time % as 99.532%, 7200 gives 99.623% So what else have you changed. Unless there is a problem with the reporting can you keep these the same, happy for you to add extra report types so if people prefer %
Server reports CPU Memory and Disk Only available for a day
These reports display data if I view today or yesterday. If I view the last 7 days and more I get no data available. I need longer trending. I also get no data available for thr Volumes with Most Free Space and Volumes with Least Free Space reports no matter what time frame I select. What is the resolution?
Scheduled Drive_Space Report
When scheduling a drive_space report within opmanager the format within the PDF and excel spreadsheet which is email is all over the place in terms of the servers. I logged a request with Opmanager last year around october 2007 and the promised about 3 months ago that this would be sorted out. This is still a outstanding bug. Automatic polling not working
Hi, Opmanager has been working fine up until yesterday. I added a new custom monitor on to the APC UPS device template to get the current temperature. This monitor works fine and when I manually run a test it correctly reads the temperature. I then applied this template to our UPS devices. Unfortunately OpManager is now not monitoring any devices at all, no snmp requests are being sent out at all. I've left a wireshark capture running for over 30 minutes and haven't seen any snmp packets leave my

URL with mutiple frames
Would like to refer on how we can monitor a website which has multiple frames. Right now we would like to customize it in such a way that it check the word userid... after doing that we saw that the site is not checked properly by opmanager thus always saying the URL is ok.
