Hi, My older version opmanager (11.6) had 4 columns, but new version have 2 columns. how i can do 4 columns for dashboard screen. I need monitoring real time traffics of ınterfaces. i have 12 + interfaces
Attempted AppSMS setup, serial modem now not working
Windows 2008 R2, OpManager 12300 with SQL Database I tried adding an Android phone using AppSMS and couldn't get the phone to be recognised by OpManager as connected (Motorola Moto G4) Anyway, since removing it, the Nokia phone which is currently connected as a serial modem no longer works either. The Nokia is showing as connected. I am able to setup a new notificaton profile using the Modem based SMS and the system thinks the SMS has been sent(test Action is Successful message is displayed) but

Server encountered RTO from opmanager everytime CLI credentials/monitors are added
We decided to configure CLI monitors in our Linux server to get the correct partition value. However everytime I'm adding the CLI credentials from the device snapshot it became unresponsive but from OpManager server only. Hope you can provide inputs on this. Thanks in advance :)
CSV Import - Cisco Router Device Name
Hi I'm trying to import devices to OpManager build 12100 via the CSV method which is working but I'm hitting an issue with the DeviceName. Instead of using the DeviceName entry I have in the CSV it's adding the devices with the device name set as the hostname on the router plus the domain name from the router. My CSV file takes the following format: DeviceName,DisplayName,DeviceType 1.2.3.4,desiredhostname,Router I'm using the Settings/Discovery CSV File Import option and when I load the CSV file
Monitoring VMWare guests with WMI
Hi, I'd like some help with the following issue. We're implementing Opmanager in our VMware based environment. We intend to monitor our VM's with WMI through the ESX hosts. VM's are in different VLAN's than the Opmanager host machine and not reachable with ping or ICMP. Devices are discovered through the ESX hosts or Vcenter and I can activate the monitoring. However, the snapshot page of the device says "Device Not Monitored". Type and Vendor are Unknown. If I scroll down a bit, there's a caption

Hola, Tengo un usuario del área de seguridad que necesita monitorear solo algunos servidores, entonces hice una nueva vista de negocio llamada "Seguridad", al crear el usuario como administrador solo le di permisos en el scope sobre la vista de negocio "Seguridad". Pero en el dashboard solo puede ver la alarmas de los dispositivos de esa vista de negocio, como podemos visualizar también las alarmas generadas por la URLs. Muchas gracias

What on earth - Dashboards aren't persistent in 12300?! This was one of the main issues that was supposed to be addressed in 12300! "Thanks for the e-mail. The changes made is good for only that browser's session and it doesn't get stored in the DB. The DB level changes will be made only in the next release since it involves some major changes, this was confirmed with my developer."

How to get juniper MX series router CPU, memory utilization and temperature to display in dial
Hi, I try to use opmanager to monitor juniper MX series routers. Now testing with MX 240 but no template for MX series I tried with default juniper template but no CPU, memory and temperature available, check with mib browser and found the cpu and memory is in a table, multiple value available. I tried with solution from this forum, edited the snapshot dial xml file and created custom monitor that correspond to it. OpManager 12300, Server is not Collecting Data
Good afternoon I have attached a picture of two servers, exactly the same, except for the name, One is collecting data as requested and the other is not. I have identified at least two machines that this has been happening. If i manually run the request for data it will pull back that individual data but still no collecting of other data. Unable to add device - Not in inventory or search
I'm trying to add a device to OpManager. I can add it through Settings > Discovery > Add Device, but this does not allow me to attach rules to the discovery. When attempting to add via Settings > Discovery > Discovery > IP, I can associate rules, but the device is never added to the inventory. I've searched through the business views that it SHOULD have been associated with, as well as searching the inventory, but the device is never added. Please advise

Remove/Change thresholds on Application Monitor Templates?
Hi! I am trying to remove the thresholds on some of the application monitors templates (For example: Log Files Used Percentage) because they are unnecessary. I would prefer not to have to go to each individual server and make these changes, however I have to enter a positive integer for each value in the template I want to change. How do I remove/modify these values so they do not deploy with alarm thresholds? Thanks! -Chris

I configure two traps one for Link up and one for Link down. In failure component of Link up I configure link down. First link down trap is generated then link up. Now the link down trap will be removed from active traps?
OpManager 12.3 Sorting Not Saving
Since upgrading from 12.2 to 12.3, it appears that devices, interfaces, alarms, etc all sort by Time by default. If I change this to Device Name, it defaults back to Time. When I click on something else and return to the page it is sorted by Time again. Is there a way to save the sorting?

Software that are going to be installed on this server are: OpManager (with OpUtils & Netflow analyzer) NCM ServiceDesk Plus Pro I was digging information about these products and found out only ServiceDesk supports Windows Server 2016. 4 Node Hyper-V Cluster Managed by System Center 2012 R2 Discovery
I am setting up OpManager 12.3 and I added a lot of VM's as devices, in other words i added them one at a time and used the DNS Name of the VM to add them to OpManager. Many of these VM's are running on a 4 node Hyper-V Cluster that is managed by System Center 2012 R2. What is the correct way to "discover" these hosts, VM's and the Cluster. Using Managed Service Accounts MSA's for WMI Server Monitoring
I would like to use a managed service account which was introduced in Server 2012 R2 for doing the WMI Scan's of my servers. Is there a way to configure this in OpManager? Currently I enter a credential in Credential Manager, so I'm not sure how I could use an MSA. If I use an account with permissions to scan the servers using WMI to run the Manage Engine OpManager Service would that accomplish the task? Exchange 2013 Hybrid Configuration Service Monitors
I have added an Exchange 2013 Server that is used in a Hybrid Configuration with the Office 365 cloud. All of our mailboxes are in the cloud, however we retain the hybrid since we are synchronizing our AD to the cloud and need to manage certain properties on prem. It determined that it was an Exchange 2013 server "automatically", and says the "service is down". These are the services that are "down" and I am wondering if they should be running? Hi, I have installed OpManager v12 (downloaded August 10th) onto a VM in our environment for a trial. Straight off the bat, the first thing i wanted to configure was vCenter monitoring. We have 3 environments in this network, PROD (6 ScaleIO Nodes) - DEVTEST (8 ScaleIO Nodes) - DR (4 ScaleIO Nodes). They are all running ESX 6.0 and are all managed by VMWare vCenter appliances (Linux Based). When i attempt to add the PROD vCenter to the OpManager installation, it just errors out. They are on

At a glance Report in Opmanager 12.0
In previous versions of Opmanager we can export the At A Glance reports to PDF and even schedule this report. With version 12 we cannot find the way to schedule the At a Glance reports, and we cannot even export to PDF. Can someone advice us on how we can resolve this issue?
