Raw data?
I need the raw data out of the db in order to manipulate for reports in excel, word etc. Is there a way to get the data from each poll cycle, say interface PPS for the last 60 days and export it? Thanks, -Tony

Custom Cisco IDS memory monitor test monitor fail - The Monitor did not respond to the test request
The new monitor I created for monitoring memory utilization of my Cisco IDS is not showing any graph. I tried to 'Test Monitor...' but it gives me an error: 'The Monitor did not respond to the test request' My monitor implements the OID: (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.221.1.1.1.1.7*100)/(.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.221.1.1.1.1.7+.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.221.1.1.1.1.8) Both OIDs return some value when I test it with 'ManageEngine MibBrowser'. I tried to increase the 'DATA_COLLECTION_SNMP_TIMEOUT' value to 20 still gives the same

I created a custom monitor from OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.8 for Cisco IPS CPU utilization. When I add the custom monitor to the Performance Monitors, i get a "Unable to configure Graph".

Alcatel MIB
Hi, We still cannot monitor Alcatel devices. We have two devices : OmniSwitch 9700 and OmniSwitch 6850. I added the MIB files from Alcatel site but no success...I can only see the interfaces but nothing else. I manually added the monitors from the MIB browser but I didn't receive any data. Windows 7 WMI access is denied error
I have a Windows 7 Prof machine that I added to Ops Manager for monitoring. When ever I try to test the credentials, I encounter the following error message. "WMI - Failed" Failure reasons - Access is denied. I have administrative access to the machine. WMI service is already started on the machine. this machine is not in my domain but DMZ segment. the admin account is a local account.
Switch Port Alert Craziness
I have read a couple of other threads from 2006 but haven't been able to find an answer. How does one make it to where Opmanager doesn't let me know everytime a port goes up and down? (this is for the opmanager software....as I do not have it setup to email me or sms me alerts yet.) I am tired of logging into the interface and seeing that the same ports are down...mainly because I don't use them. I want to be able to see traffic on live ports and be able to tell if a port is up or down on the switch

Hi There, we have opmanager installed on a windows xp machine and its been running for sometime now more than a year but we are trying to move it to Windows 2003 Server now so i installed the server and installed OPManager on it. But my Problem is on the current install windows xp OPManager, i went to program files ==> Opmanager --> Database Maintenance and clicked on Backup but everytime i do that i get an error message saying "Error writting queries to file." MS Exchange monitors return no data
I am running OpManager in 30-day trial mode. I get the exptected behaviour from almost all monitors except the Exchange ones. My Exchange server is version 2003, running on Proliant DL380 G4 server. SNMP is enabled, in case you ask.

Can OpManager listen to SNMP traps and poll using multiple interfaces?
Due to our network design I need to have my OpManager box listen to SNMP traps and poll devices on multiple interfaces. Is that possible? I have one network area to monitor and to reach it the traffic needs to go out eth0 and I have a different subnet that needs to be polled and the traps need to be received via eth1. I have recently removed several devices from OpManager as they were not discovered correctly, after deleting them, I can now not re-add them. SQL Services Notify Down when still running.
Hi All We have installed SQL Service monitoring on our servers. OpManager is reporting that the services are down on these, when we log in all the SQL Services are still running. When we look at the report for the service it says that these services have an uptime of 100%, however we get email and sms notifications that they are down. Notification we receive is below MSSQL Server, SQL Server Agent, SQL Browser Services are Down Service Down UnAssigned VirtualDevice Jun 10,2011 10:53:30 AM Any ideas?
Error loading RightFax MIB
Hello, I am attempting to add a MIB to our OpManager installation (Verison 8 Build 8025) and am receving an error: "Error parsing MIB:AVTC.mib Exception while loading MIB:Could not parse the file C:/Program Files/AdventNet/ME/OpManager/./mibs/AVTC.mib. Couldn't resolve these TC constructs : { Integer }" The MIB is for the RightFax application and is attached to this post. Can you assist please? cheers Tim

Hi i just update firmware of a Fw/router for Netgear FVS338 to the latest 3.0.7, In this Firmware the netgear said that the implement the OID for CPU utilization. Hi i am a beginner in Network and IT and currently studying the Network systems :D i am tryning to use OP manager to watch over my AP at home but i cant get the graph to come up i have a Netgear AP WG 302 and a Netgear WINAP 350. I have done all the trouble shooting check SNMP on both so its enable and i have open the service for SNMP for my computer. one thing i dont understand is that how to check the MIB browser i am getting OID from the Host resource MIB when i push the get SNMP from the device
clear notification received when alarm was not critical
Hi, I have a notification profile set up to only receive critical severity alerts. I also need to be notify if this critical situation clears. My problem is that if you select the option to be notified if the alarm clears it will notify for every severity. So if a threshold monitor goes to the attention severity I don't receive the alarm. But if the attention severity clears I receive a notification. Is there any way to control this? I would like to be able to be notified only if the same

Increased polling if device is down
Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I'm phrasing this right, so I probably have missed it when I searched. Here's my question. Let's say we're monitoring a device every 5 minutes. Then it goes down for 2 minutes. Op manager is going to record it was down for at most 5 minutes depending on when the last poll was. This doesn't sound like a big deal but it can add up over time. Is there a way for op manager to start polling a device more often when it goes down? Say like every 30 seconds or 1 minute? Then

Is there a limit to the size of a URL string that can be used as a monitor. I'm able to paste a long URL into the add monitor dialog and successfully "check" that it works.
