Exchange System Monitoring
Hi, I'm playing around with the exchange monitoring add in and I have it set up, and so far all values show up, with the exception of the used disk space for the private and public folder stores. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
Java client Snapshot Vs. Web client
added Nortel VPN router 600 In Java client Snapshot, able to see CPU Load and Memory Utilization, without any configuration. However, in web client, need to add monitor for CPU and Memory. Only CPU graph shows up, no Memory graph, why? Thanks, Howard.shum@ecomm.bc.ca

web security in suse linux environment
i've developed a system where only registered user can access it. I use session to control the user login process and also for system security which means any unregistered user can't log on the system and the system should cannot bypass the next url without login first. I've run this system on windows and it's working.But when i run on OES(open enterprise server), a warning error come out on every page after login.The system also can accessed without login. It pass all the url after login page. ***********************************************************
Added server going to wrong network.
I have XXX.XXX.XXX.0 (255.255.255.192) Should be .0-.63, right? Also have XXX.XXX.XXX.64 (255.255.255.192) Should be .64-127, right? When I add XXX.XXX.XXX.108, it's adding itself to the first network instead of the second. WTF?!

Feature request!
Hi, I have another feature request :) Currently you can set threshold alerts for various monitors, where the threshold is an absolute value. However, not all graphs go down - some only go up (buffer hits for a router, for example). In these instances, an absolute threshold value isn't much use; what would be nice is a "rate of change" threshold. By looking at the graph, you can see what a "normal" rate of change might be. On one of my routers, the "Medium Buffer Hits" counter goes up by about 15,000
Notification Profile bug
There still seems to be the bug where when the server is rebooted it adds extra blank lines in the notification profile message, with 5600. Also, I'd like to suggest that when adding Event Log Rules, you be allowed to pick a infrastructure group (like Servers) and that you also be allowed to assign more than one at a time. I'm also getting alerts fairly often that the Event Log service is down on my servers, when there doesn't appear to be any issues on the server at all. Is there a way to make OpManager
How to move a device to another business view ?

Multiple AdventNet products on the same server
I discovered the AdvantNet products recently and I am particularly interested by OpManager, EventLog Analyzer and PatchQuest. Is it possible to install them on the same server ? (TCP port, MySQL DB, ...) I read some post about this, but not with these 3 products Thanks
OpManager lost network connectivity
I got this alarm few minutes after installation: OpManager has detected that it has lost network connectivity and has suspended all monitoring. Monitoring will be automatically resumed once connectivity is established. Network connectivity is fine, I connect to the opmanager with webclient on another machine. I can add several nodes without problem, but if i update status manually, "Device not responding:...". OS: Debian Sarge OpManager 5.5
user account management
There is only password management available in current OpManager. It will be nice to add a few more fields to allow the description of what group/dept./site the user is belong.

SwitchPortMapper not showing IP and DNS name
I've been evaluating your ManageEngine Oputils3 v. 3.1.4. I'm interested in the Switch Port Mapper. I've tested it using one of our 3Com switches. The first time i did a Switch Port Mapper on the switch (did not key in the router IP) i'm able to see IP addresses and DNS names of the hosts connected to the switch. But when i tried it again after a few hours, its not showing the IP address and DNS names anymore. It only shows the MAC address. Is there anyway i can force it to take the IP and DNS names

I'd like to have an 'attention' alarm for free space of '5%', a 'trouble' alarm for free space of '3%', and a critical alarm for '1%'. You can only have one threshold per monitor?!

Dead install
I am having a heck of a time with our evaluation install of OpManager. The problems started after applying the upgrade to 5.6 and the web access stopped working though not immediately. I have uninstalled and reinstalled more than once and still can't get it working with the previous information - I didn't get a chance to backup when things were working properly. I've also repaired the db - which had a huge number of errors. If I reinstall and don't copy over the previous db and conf directories,

Update to 5.6, OS=linux FC3, lost data
Hi I applied rediscorver to one of my router. As a result The router name lost, replaced with ip address. All utilization /performance data lost as well, as if this is a new router. Worst, all unmanaged interfaces are gone and they can not be rediscorvered again from the same place, thus can not be added into service (maybe there is another place to add them that I don't know). Am trying to delete a business view in linux fedora core 3 and it is unable to do this....I have even tried on a windows 2003 server box...same thing not bale to delete the business...How do I go about fixing this problem...Is this a know issue? thanks

Hello, I'm using the product OpManager 5.6 Trial version for test the monitoring of Exchange 2003 with WMI, but I have a problem. When I monitor a ressource with WMI, for exemple the utilisation of memory that function correctly, but if I monitor Exchange 2000/2003 (WMI) application all the things are in N/A mode. I have put the correct domain and user with the correct password. I don't unterstand this problem...
How do I find a system by IP quickly?
if I have the IP of a system and I want to jump right to it in OpManager, how do I do so? The 'device search' being largely useless because if I'm looking for a system by it's display name, I can just sort by display name. (unless I don't know which network it's on, I suppose).
cap bandwith
How do I limit the amount of bandwidth a server can use. For example, I would like to limit a server to use only 1000GB. If a cap is possible, will it cut off the server at exactly 1000GB or will it alert an administrator about the problem first?
relocate OPmanager files
In order to take advantage of multi-disks system, Is there easy way to store OP files in a different disk insteadof in one folder? What I means is, WEB in one disk, databse in another disk. It is noticeable that disk i/o is very heavy when OP is polling the data and also busy to create report and all IO is hit in one disk! Win2003 Server SNMP does not show active
Windows 2003 Small Business Server w/SP1 does not show as active SNMP device and SNMP and WMI are enabled on the server. What needs to be done to get this issue corrected? Any idea's?

Dear, I have Installed and runned OpManager 5.6 under Linux. Everything is fine, until I tried to access OpManager with FireFox. The browser can't access OpManager and it's refreshing all the time. Systems showing 0 availability, 10ms response, clear status
I've found sporatic servers with dashboard views of: Today's availability - all RED Downtime is listed at the current hour Response time: 10ms (or good response in most cases) Resource & Service status are all clear I can't seem to correct the availability status on the dashboard screen. I've tried: Update Status, Clear Status, UnManage / Re-Manage, Shutdown OpManager service and restart. Have you run into this? I hate to delete the device and lose otherwise good monitors.
