OpManager 7002 Cisco 515e, 2960G Interface Traffic problem
OpManager built 7002 free Windows 2003 server x64 SP2 Cisco PIX 515e Cisco Catalyst 2960G Traffic Counter 64 bit I cannot see any interface traffic and Interface Graph (Sorry, no data found for the selected period). How I can grab and see Interface traffic statistocs in OpManager? Thanks.
Database and OS compatibility
HI, I am evaluating this product for our MSP. we are seriously thinking to use opmanager and service desk. I wanted to install opmanager MSP edition and ServiceDesk Plus 7.0 Enterprise Edition. Please let mw know whether it is suitable for MSP. Next question is Can I use MS SQL 2005 and Windows 2003 with both latest patch. Or else please let me know which OS and which DB version is most suitable. I don't want to end up in incompatibility issue. Please help. Regards YAsh
Monitor Drive array or individual HDD status?
Is it possible to monitor the individual drive or SCSI/SAS/SATA/IDE RAID array status in a server? I would like to have the ability to be notified in case an array goes off line or a HDD begins reporting bad sectors. I am not sure if this is possible through SNMP? Or through OpManager. If it is, how is this enabled? Thanks
I am facing the problem with opening of multiple windows
Whenever I right-click the menu item , I am able to open multiple windows of the same element or Instance. Since we are using JFrame the init() takes care of opening of new windows. My requirement is to open or show only a single(same) window even when user clicks the same menu item for several times. Please help me in achieving the above. Thanks.

OpManager stopping SQL Server Agents??
This problem only started after we installed OpManager with SQL monitor add-on. For some reason, our SQL Server Agents will just stop for no apparent reason. Has anyone else run into this? Is this a bug with the software package? Thanks! Emily
Exchange Monitor-service down
I have version 7 and the exchange monitor is reporting that exchange service is down. I have checked my exchange services and three of them are not started as they are not used. How can I exclude them from monitoring so that it doesn't report that exchange services are down?
Cannot get WMI monitoring to work
Hi, We have installed OpManager and are able to monitor all of our servers and devices with SNMP fine. However, when trying to add any WMI monitors, such as exchange, OpManager reports the service is down and an authentication failure alert is generated for that server. Now the 'windows' credential is being used and the domain admin account is put there. Hi, could someone please tell me how to adjust the displayed length of an interface in opmanager 7? having a list of switchport interfaces, **ALL** called "GigabitEther..." is insanely annoying and frsutrating... yet there appears to be no fix in any part of the (so called) admin section. Suddenly can't establish connection to server
Hi... I'm succesfully installed OP Manager 7 but after few time, the web panel suddenly can't be viewed again. I had to restarted OpManager using sh StartOpManagerServer.sh again. After a few time again the web panel can't be viewed again. I already add Op Manager running as a service but when I tried issuing this command "service opmanager status" I received "env: /etc/init.d/opmanager: No such file or directory" Please advise somebody
Installing OpManager ubuntu 7.04
Hello, I sucessfully installed OpManager on Ubuntu 7.04. But when I try to start the OpManager Server I get the error message : "Failed to establish connection with web server. Gracefully shutting down OpManager" I tried the solutions in the error-faq, but I still get the error. Any ideas? Best regards Boert
Only memory utilization works for Cat 6500 series switches.
I have a bunch of Cat 6500 series swicthes and I am interested in monitoring teh CPU and Backplane utilizations alongwith port mapping. None of the above works except the memory utilization. problems monitoring exchange on SBS 2003 + probe
hello, When i want to monitor Exchange on a SBS 2003 (DC+Exchange+Probe) i get the following error: 80041064 - User credentials cannot be used for local connections. Problems with hyperlinks
When using MS Visio, I can't seem to get a hyperlink to work and bring me to a snapshot reports page of servers set up. Instead I am brought to an overview page. Anyone else have issues similar to this one? thanks matt
Linking to report pages
I'm working on a project where I need to have a hyperlink take me to a servers report page. Everytime I set up a hyperlink I am brought to the page which shows: Average Availability Availability Distribution Top-N CPU Utilization and more bar graphs of ALL the servers set up. Has anyone dealt with this or know how a work around this?

Hi I need to create a new user with name=pratap & authorization password = pratap123 in USM table in C-Agent. As directed by you, I have tried this using application snmpUSMRemoteConfigure . Problem in OP7 adding switch
Hi,Op team I have installed OP7 in Windows 2003 Server,and used MS SQL as OP7's Database,when I add swithces I meet a serious problem. I added a cisco 2950-48G using 10 mins,I found that OP7 needs long time to add it's ports,then OP7 returns "add successfully".Meantime I check "task management",there only sqlsvr.exe using 45%-70% CPU and 201M memory. Hi Guys Need some help here. Whilst Ive studied TCPIP, SNMP etc a few years back, it appears Im quite rusty on MIB's. We are using Opmanager MSP (which has no MIB Browser at the central store.. only on the probe). I do have an understanding of what a MIB is, how it relates to SNMP, how it queries devices, traps etc etc What I do feel is lacking is my understanding of how, where and the related processes of importing MIBS into MSP. e.g. We have a customer�s site with a Xerox 8550 printer. MSP frustration
I have upgraded the msp version and was hoping a ot of new things... Look at the wifi section..... Is there any AP that is using a harddrive? So why do you see this? Why are ther so little mibs in the database? For example is missing AP1100 the cisco swich 3560. The AP1100 are in the the wifimanager so copy it simple into MSP. OpManager 7 becomes very very slow
Hello, we are evaluating the OpManager 7. We added a lot of machines on friday, with no problems. On monday the OpManager was inaccessible. The login page requires about 5 minutes to appear. After login you have to wait for more than 10 minutes to change between the sites. While surfing on the site the java.exe process consumes 100% CPU. The OpManager monitors now about 250 devices. Object are not placed correctly in map view
In mapmaker of Opmanager itself, I've created a new business view and have placed the shortcuts and links where I would like them. When I then view the map in OpManager, the icons are not where I placed them and the link lines are off about 1cm so that they are not actually touching the shortcuts. Any ideas on why this is occurring? Also, I deleted a business view and recreated it with the same name. My user who is limited to all business views can no longer see this particular business view in OpManager.
