OpManager MSP Probe & SBS 2003 & AD & Exchange m

Hi Guys

As a new customer to OpManager MSP, Ive had a really tough time getting the probes to monitor my customers SBS servers. The reason being, if you install the probe on an SBS 2003 (maybe just SBS R2, not sure yet) and add a username & password for WMI queries, then whilst it appears to discover the system is a domain controller, it wont actually return any WMI counters OR allow you to monitor Exchange. The error is along the lines of "80041064 - User credentials cannot be used for local connections. Refer Troubleshooting Tips ".... which you do, then delete & re-discover the device... and nothing gets found. No WMI etc etc

Running on my guess this is a permissions issue along the line, the only solution I have found is to start all OpManager Probe services under a domain administrator account... Which works :o)... and, after I manually specify the location of my exchange IS, I can also monitor Exchange.

I do still however get an error at the top of my SBS monitoring screen that says the following "To enable Active Directory monitoring, you have to [configure...] an administrator username and password for this device.", which, obviously isnt true.

Ive seen a recent post by SjoerdvdN http://forums.manageengine.com/forumHome.do?forumGroupId=49000000002007&forumTopicId=49000002642131
who is suffering this exact problem.

Please can you resolve this so that:

A. There is clear documentation as to how to fix/work around this problem. Or perhaps a knowledge base article, Or an update to the online help?
B. The error message within OpManager Probe doesnt tell you, that you need a username/password.
C. If what Ive done is completly wrong (and perhaps it is a security risk) please provide step-by-step clear instructions as to how to resolve these issues.

Thanks

Will
