Eventlog Analyzer cross domain authentication problems
I am having a problem with ELA. I have ELA installed on a server in domain A. I have it setup to collect logs from windows servers in Domain B. I have credentials setup in the host setup for Domain B and it is collecting logs fine. The problem is that ELA is also trying to connect to each of these servers using what appears to the the ELA service account or the current logged in used on the server running ELA on domain A. Since it is passing the domain name of Domain A for the user when it does,
Eventlog Analyzer do not list all processes in the section "Reports"
Hello, Eventlog Analyzer do not list all processes in the section "Reports" There are only a few ~about 10 listed~ but on the server, we use the programm, are running more than 10 processes. Why is it this way?

Custom Reports
Hi I am using Eventlog anaylzer and I have come across a event I wish to be ignored in my reports. I have added the event ID into the execpt section on the custom reports field but it appears to have made no difference. Please can you advise how best to do this. This way i will stop getting 240 events of the same nature. Many Thanks
Server Stop when having 20 more windows machine
Hi all, I purchased 175 devices license and would like deploy more than 50 windows hosts. But the eventlog analyzer always stop after few minutes as it started. ELA 32 bit verison to 64 bit version
I see that there is the option of 64 bit with the new 7 stand alone. We current have 32 bit but was wondering if there was a way to migrate from 32 bit to 64 bit?

Active Directory Authentication FAILS
In previous version (6.x) of ELA, the AD Authentication piece worked fine. Now with 7.0 x64 it does not seem to want to work at all. I had it working initially 2 or 3 times, then it just...tanked. No clue or idea why. I went back thru all my settings, double-checked everything I could think of and ....NADA. Any ideas, anyone?
It takes very long to connect to EventLog Analyzer web console from a remote computer
If i haven't been using web console for a few days and then i try to login to it from a remote PC, then it shows the Login page (auto login is enabled) and then stays in Connecting.. stage for a few minutes or longer. If i try to login locally on the server, then it loads immediately (it usually starts a few script processes). I have noticed such stalls when i was just starting to setup everything and firewall was turned off. Now it is on, but if it would be the cause, then it won't work at all.

Editing an existing Report Schedule
I have an existing Report Schedule in ELA that I now want to change. But, it does not appear that I can edit an existing Report Schedule. Can this be true? Or, am I overlooking the obvious?
Import log issues
I have event log analyzer version 7(applied patches from 6.x) when I try to import log from last dates a message waiting for http://localhost:8400/event/import.nms... appear on the screen below, a blue percentage is filling ,after a minute then I'm receiving a web page error "internet explorer can not display the webpage" Please help!!! problem backup analyzer 7 whit batch.
i have install in windows 7 analyzer 7 I had a daily backup. I stopped for more than seven days and hours scheduled archiving is working properly. Opmanager and EventLog Analyzer
Can these two products co-exist on the same server? If so what do I need to do to make that happen. I tried installing EA on an Opmanager server but EA client reports that the service is not started. It is according to the services console. Any tips?

Unable to import IIS W3C Web Server Logs or MSSQL Logs
When attempting both a local or remote import of IIS W3C Web Server Logs or MSSQL Logs the import always fails with a message "Import of log file failed!"; however Importing IIS W3C FTP Log's works fine every time. All three logs are from the same server. I have checked and confirmed that IIS is logging in W3C Extended Log File Format. I’ve also tested this from both a 2008 Server Running IIS 7 with SQL Server 2008 and a 2003 Server Running IIS 6 with SQL Server 2005. Previously running EventLog
server side setup to pull IIS logs
I'm currently testing eventlog analyzer and noticed the only way to get sql and iis logs is to import the logs via FTP or SFTP/SSH, only problem is I'm not sure how to set that up on the server side. Anyone out there have some instructions that would tell me how to properly set up and IIS/SQL box to allow eventlog analyzer to FTP to it to import the logs? I'm running server 2008. Thanks
Eventlog Analyser 7 Service problem
Hello all, I'm experiencing a difficulty with Eventlog Analyser build 7000, I cannot keep it operational at all since the Eventlog Analyser 7.0 Service always terminates immediately upon starting. The only error information I can find is that my Eventlog records that that the service has terminated unexpectedly. I'm attempting to have it working on a Windows Small Business Server 2011 machine, running as a virtual server. Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Edit: I'm now experiencing

number of logoffs or log ons incorrect in report
Hi, I am using event log analyzer 6020 . When I generate a report for log offs or log ons. It says in the report window showing 1 to 10 of 608xxx when there are really only 200 for example. So when I generate a PDF report for our SOX records. Is this fixed in version 7? thanks

Morning - just downloaded your product - very interested in purchasing but I have a problem. How to make Home tab always show 25 hosts per page?
I can't find a way to save my Home tab view to show more than 10 hosts when i refresh the page. We have more than 10 hosts and this is annoying to have always press [25] after you refresh the page.

Archiving to Remote windows server
Hi, We have out Eventlog Analyzer running on a Linux OS. I need to redirect the archives files to a windows share. I see the field where you put the path for the logs to be written but I dont see any field for login credentials and also am unclear of the synatx i need to use for the path as I dont think that a UNC path will work since this is a linux server.. Can anyone advise? I noticced that the verify button next to the path says success no matter what you enter in the path (ie- if you put "abcd"

My WinPcap installation removed
The EventLog Analyser setup removed my WinPcap 4.1.2 installation!!! This made me mistrust this piece of software right from the start. Hi I'm looking to monitor a remote server on the end of a VPN connection, the connection may or may not be available 24 hrs. In the event that the connection drops, from what I can see, the event log collection will stop, and when the connection comes back up, it will start collection data from the time the connection came back. As far as I can see, Analyzer reads the events in real time, as they go into the remote log, and tucks them away in it's local store How do I make it collect the missing
How to make evenloganalyzer service start on CentOS 5.6 startup?
I can start it manually by /etc/init.d/eventloganalyzer start , but it is not chkconfig compatible. I'm not very familiar with CentOS. Maybe someone can advise how to achieve this?
Cannot start Manage Engine Event Log Analyzer service
Hi everyone, we install the program on E: disk of our Windows 2008R2 server. The disk was 10gb and after 15 days of log collection it was full. Because the server is a virtual machine, we extend the disk of other 10gb and we restart the machine. After the restart the Manage Engine Event Log Analyzer service won't start and the command prompt says "Unclean shutdown of previous run". What we can do? Kind regards Michele

Setup Snare
I'm evaluating ELA and have sucessfully setup a ELA server that is monitoring logs on 3 different systems. Now I want to test using an agent with ELA. I've setup Snare on a windows XP system. I have setup the the Snare network configuration so the entry for the Snare server is the IP of the ELA server and the port is set to 8400. I've verified the Snare service is running. I've also verified that there are no firewalls between these two machines. The Snare box is not showing up on ELA. What
sysevtcol.exe crashed after few minutes on blank installed machine with no other software installed
we are using the actual eventlog analyzer software with the 30 days test before we will buy this product but we can not run it longer then 1 hour. after that 1 hour (or after only 10-30 minutes) the program sysevtcol.exe crash and the windows error message shows that a process is crashed. only a reboot from the pc or shutdown the eventlogsoftware and restart it can solve this for next only 1 hour. we are not using any firewall (the original firewall is deactivated), backup programm or antivirus software.

windows 2008 sbs - error 0x80070005 - eventlog analyzer
I get an Access Denied error for a host when I click on "Verify Login" but I have given the correct login credentials. The host I want to add is the same where eventlog analyzer is installed (windows 2008 sbs). REMOTEADMIN service is enabled. Remote DCOM option is enabled in the remote workstation. User account is valid in the target machine. I encountered this problem on every installation with windows 2008 sbs. Any suggestions will be extremely helpful thanks Eros
Large archives showing as tampered
I'm trying to run a report based off some archived files in Eventlog Analyzer. I can import most things. But anything over 50MB shows as Tampered when I try and Load it.
