I need a query report that shows computers without specific software, starts with "Secure" word (ex:SecureDoc). The result should only shows computer name end with NB (ex: ComputerNB). Columns required: - Computer Name - Software Name - Software Version. Thanks.
DesktopCentral doesn't start
Hello, I just installed the DesktopCentral free version on a clean Win10 machine. The service fails to start, the attached log seems to indicate a problem with the database. Could anybody advise on what the problem could be?

Hello, I ran a report to find out which machines had the agent installed. While using the information, I realized at least one machine was missing from the report. Tie new Remote Office to existing Distribution Server
We're deploying a large number of sites which we'd like to organize according to their site codes. It would be excellent for organizational purposes if we could tie a new remote office to an existing DS without having to deploy a new DS. For example if we have a DS in a hub site where multiple primary offices terminate to their local MPLS cloud we'd like to have a DS there which services multiple site codes. With the current architecture we have to assign multiple sites to the site with the DS.

Illustartor 9 was working fine but after using a registry cleaner no longer loads. Receive error message PDF Poquito50iRelease.dll not a valid windows image.Reloaded the software from add and remove programs appears to load,have the correct regkey but still get that error message. Help!!

up time reporting.
I have found a couple different ways to run an uptime report however i cant seem to figure out one step. My goal is to set a scheduled up time report to show boxes that have been up for more than X amount of days. I can make this report but the value of the criteria type requires specific days. It does not allow a set value like ">30 days" We could also do this however it it shows all boxes and its not scheduled. We could select a specific date range and edit it every week we wish to run the report
Unable to update Desktop Manager
Hi, I received the notification that build 91058 was available and duly downloaded the hotfix file. I'm on build 91043 but when I apply the .PPM file I receive the message: Do I need to uninstall the previous hotfixes first? I didn't need to do this before, or is there a different problem? Currently when i log into DTC the default log in authentication is local. I would like it to be the AD authentication. Is there a way i can change that with out deleting the local admin accounts?

Vulnerability Database Update fails
Hello, I turned off my server during my vacation, I switched my license from trial to free, as the 30 days were over. Now I am trying to update the vulnerability database, Everything works, except the last step, "Syncing security updates" It takes a while and fails after about 5~10 minutes. - I already turned off all security software that can possibly block anything, - I already turned off all network-based security( Astaro UTM), to avoid it blocking anything. It still keeps failing over and over
Block 3rd Party Applications from being available under Patch Management.
It is taking us longer & longer each month to approve Updates manually as there are more & more unnecessary 3rd Party Patches appearing. Is there a way or could there be a way for us to block these 3rd Party Applications from appearing? We do not want LibreOffice, iTunes, CDBurnerXP, Poedit, Opera, & so forth from even appearing as an Option to be approved. If we could at-least set them to auto Decline would suffice. Patches did not deploy
Hello, the monthly patches downloaded fine, but did not deploy to any systems. I know the downloads were ok because they did deploy to the test group, just not to the entire company. What logs can I use to determine what went wrong? Does anyone know a solution? I should mention that the guy who used to do this left. Thanks! Beck
Agent Re-installation Error Message
I have a machine that had the Desktop Central Agent installed. The machine was moved to a different physical location. I was unable to remote to the machine so I did an uninstall of the agent. Now when I try to install the agent I get message - "This advertised application will not be installed because it might be unsafe. Contact your administrator to change the installation user interface option of the package to basic." Has anyone encountered this problem and know a fix? The machine is a Windows
prevent dcmsghandler.exe from taking focus?
Hi, One of my windows 7 pcs on the network is used as a media player to display promotional material but dcmsghandler.exe regularly steals focus which causes the media play to minimise and the desktop to be displayed. I've tried to run the media player in "fake" full screen (windowed mode without toolbar etc) and enabled the "stay on top" setting but it still minimises about 3x per hour. How can I prevent dcmsghandler.exe from doing this please? Paul
Best process for mass moves or mass deletes
So we are considering adding some remote offices organizational reasons and also have a weekly task of decomission of old servers. Mass adds are pretty straight forward but what is the best process for mass deletes or selecting devices to mass migrate to the new Remote Offices? The only way i can see now is find the device check the box and either hit move or remove system.

I came from a LANDesk environment where they relied on using a dedicated application for the management and service desk portions. They also let you create tickets using a web interface. Desktop Central report not returning proper data and scheduling
Hello, we have a report that should run every Saturday for Recently Installed Software at 02:00. It runs, but does not include data for the whole week, just that day that the report ran. I am trying to figure out how to create a report to identify hosts that are missing a certain application or running service. I can create a report to show services or applications not like X. however that shows every service on every box and creates a huge report. All i want is a machine name missing a certain application or running service. The script is supposed to launch the program after it has been installed. If I run the script from the local computer or even the network share myself it opens the program as intended but when it is executed through Desktop Central it does not.

Hello, I am fairly new to Desktop Central. I have 2 domains and the agents are properly talking to them. I currently have a software repository working on one domain. I would like a separate one for the other. I see the option to pick the path but it doesn't seem like I can pick more than one. Could anyone guide me through the correct steps? Thanks
Automated Deployment configuration reporting 'not scanned'
Hi, I've been using the automated deployment for some time now and its been working, for the most part, okay. That is until recently when the patch database lost sync with manage engine (our ISP blocked our NTP server for reasons known only to them... which through our server times out of whack). After fixing that issue, I went back to leaving our automated deployment to run but I soon found that when I added new machines to the deployment configuration, they where being ignored so I deleted that

SoM - add computers - nothing happens
This has been present for at least a couple of patch versions. In the Scope of Management screen, if I click Add Computers, I see my domains. If i click Select Computers beside my domain nothing happens when usually there's a pop-up with a list of computers available. Due to this I can't remotely add the client to any machines. I've tried it in Firefox 39.0.3 and IE 11. I've cleared cache, nothing, pop-up blockers are off.
Desktop Central MDM access path
Hello, We are actually testing the MDM integrated with DesktopCentral. Could we know what are the access path used by an IOS device to communicate with the Desktop Central MDM? The idea is to restrict (by whitelisting or by blacklisting) the remote access on the Desktop Central server (which is accessed by reverse-proxy), so nobody can access the administration of DesktopCentral and so the mobile users can still fully use MDM. RADIUS for SD+ or Desktop Central?
Do you support RADIUS for 2 factor (RSA) authentication to either of these systems? Google didn't help much on this topic (I fear that it's because there's no support for it). I am most interested in it for Desktop Central, because it carries the ability to manipulate various systems on the network and a compromised technician's account could be extremely problematic.
Forcing a re-attempt
Hi, I posted last week about trying to work out why my patches were not deploying, and had some amazing help which has since enabled me to progress with my testing. I now face another little issue, I have had a look through the Admin Guide and cannot see what I'm looking for (unless I've been really blind). I have deployed an install to around 150 machines, 19 are still 'Yet To Apply' and this was because they were switched off. Since then, 3 more machines have been turned on and are showing as online
