Controlled Agent Deployment After Endpoint Central Update
Hi there, After the last time we updated Endpoint Central to the latest version, we noticed that we had no control over updating all of the agents. Once the server was backup and EC could communicate with the agents it started updating them automatically.
User Account Backup
Hi There, There have been a few cases for us were backing up user accounts and deploying them to another device would have been ideal. In my testing of the current user backup feature in Endpoint Central it grabs all "Local Users" or "Domain Users" groups.
Application whitelist
Hi team, Just an idea, how about putting a configuration where user unable to run application (EXE or MSI) that is not listed in inventory (which I refer as whitelist). thank you
make the magnifier (searchbar on top of tables)
Hi Support, we have about 120 Admins in our MSP Environment. Most of them have one wish to get the Frontend more usable: Is it possible to show the search bar on top of all tables as standard. The feedback of my administrators is that they have to klick
Dynamic Group based upon Laptop Model?
I was trying to create a custom dynamic group that would contain all computers of a particular model. I am not seeing the ability to select a model though in the dynamic group creation functionality. Am I missing it or is there a different way to do this. The Use Case is to deploy a particular firmware update to all machines of a particular model. Thoughts appreciated.
User Administration - Dynamic Groups in Computers to be Managed Scope
We would like the ability to use Dynamic Groups when defining the "Computers to be Managed" in the technician user administration. The goal is to only allow the tech to manage Windows Computers and not Servers. Managing a static list of computers is
owener
Hi Wouldn't it be a good idea to link the owner tab in Active Directory of computer items to your owner colum in endpoint central?
Dynamic groups based on AD container
We group our servers and workstations in Active Directory according to function, eg Servers Mail Servers Citrix Servers Workstaions IT Workstations Finance Workstations Laptops etc. It would be very useful to make dynamic groups from these OUs, when adding a server or workstation then the dynamic group would automatically pick it up for the correct deployments.
Custom Group Add List
I have no idea why this feature went away. But please dear little baby Jesus...bring it back. Being able to paste in a list of computers to create a custom group was great. It was fast. Easy. It's how I did most of my groups that span more than one OU in AD.
Allow more database fields when creating dynamic custom groups
I think the functionality of custom groups would be significantly enhanced if you could select from more database fields. E.G. I would like to create a group where systems the system manufacturer is Dell and the installed version of a software is less than a specified value -- but unfortunately this does not seem to be possible. Thanks!
Question/Idea: Dashboards per remote office
Hi, I really like my main dashboard view, and I pay close attention to the Network Status and System Health graphs. My problem is that I have two 'offices' configured -- 'Local Office' which is all my desktop systems on site, and 'Laptops' which is for mobile devices. In my environment, it's very important that I keep the 'Local Office' up to date, but 'Laptops' are less important. It would be extremely useful if it were possible to change the 'scope' of the main dashboard to a particular office/scope-of-management.
