Unable to save Business View editings
Hi all. We are running ManageEngine AppManager build 10800 and we are experiencing an issue with Business Views. Both on existing views and new views, we are unable to save editings. After each change, we are able to click on "Save Configuration", and, on top bar, regulary appears "Succesfully Saved Configuration", but when we click on "Refresh View" we lose all editings and the view returns to previous configuration. backup problem
hi i had a application manager 9 and upgraded it to 10, i wanted to upgrade my os (from redhat 5 to linux mint(maya)) so i take a backup from application manager AMDB and install a new application manager 9, after this i restore AMDB backup in application manager 9, but i see that i can't monitor any ping monitor and it not show me any cpu usage, memory and …., so i upgrade application manager 9 (with service packs) to 10 and now my problem with ping is solved but it not show me any cpu usage, memory

extremely log URL
Hi, I am trying to monitor a URL that is 729 characters log. This fails, resulting in "Unable to create a url Monitor". Does anyone know if there are limitations on the max. lenght of the URL? This is the only explanation i can think of. If so, is there an alternative? Kind Regards, Eric Bolderink

Hold actions during the night, but keep monitoring for reporting
My goal is to monitor and register full time, 24*7, for use of reporting, but do not want notifications (mail actions) during nightly hours. I have configured downtimes on my adminserver (not the managed servers with the monitors) , selecting all monitor groups available, but they do not seem to work. Mail notifications (also configured on the adminserver) keep coming, and i am uncertain of downtimes affecting reports. I have read in old forum answers that monitoring is disabled during downtime

I'm trying to do a bulk import of servers that will be coming online in the next few weeks. Is it possible to have it not fail to add them if it can't currently ping?

cannot connect mysql on linux 64bit
I installed Application Manager 10 on linux 64bit (redhat enterprise 5.6). But when I access the login page, the default user/password (admin/admin) is invalid. Periodic thread dumps automated
I am monitoring glassfish servers (version 3.1.1) and I would like to configure application manager in such a way that it takes automatic thread dumps when the cpu utilization rises above a configured threshold limit. I tried different things like adding an action and alarm but I was unable to link it with the monitor. Can someone guide me through the steps? Where can I navigate to view these thread dumps? Schedule Reports after a server migration
Hello, I have a small problem where, after migrating AppManger to a new server, the schedule reports no longer work. The error message is: Unable to connect.Check whether ProxyServer settings is needed. Everything else worked perfectly. Also, running individual reports (from the reports tab) works fine - but reports in the "Schedule Reports" section (under admin) no longer work. I've tried running them manually and creating a new, small test report - but neither work and throw the above error.
How do I personalize the reiterations of an alert?
Hey guys, I'm currently working with Application Manager 9 and want to personalize commands/alert configuration, because I want reiterative alerts with defined intervals. The only option I see under the Admin > Commands/Alert configuration is the following: 'Execute commands repeatedly in case the state of the atribute is Critic or warning (until it clears)' Any chance I can personalize that? Applications Manager Shuts down the Oracles.

IIS 7 Website Statistics
Do I need to install the IIS 6 compabile WMI provider to get the Website Stats option to appear? There is a link there now but it just takes me back to the monitors page and the help file saies basicly nothing about what is needed to set this up.
High CPU load WMI on Windows2008R2
L.S., we are using Applications Manager to monitor our applications and I've recently added a new monitor: "Windows server 2008R2". The polling interval is set @5 minutes. Each time appman polls the 2008R2 server (with SP1) the CPU% peaks to 50-60% CPU. The CPU utilization therefor shows a average of >50CPU % overall and this is not correct. In between polls the CPU goes down to 2-5 %. We monitor several windows servers with other OS's but the problem only occurs on this 2008R2 OS. awaiting your

Dear Sir, In a dashboard i want to show the folowing: Only Windows servers that have a problem, meaning health in status warning / critical, or availability down. Filtered by a custom field f.i. "prd" Monitors that are good (=green), are not displayed. I have tried a few things, but have not been able do discover a way to do so. Hi! I have tried to set up a content matching with the File system monitor. I can get it to work on one Linux box, but not on another. I tried using root account on both machines. For the machine were it wont work: * It seems it can find the file correctly, and it displays the changes in file size. * If I enable "Do file/directory age check" and set it to 5 hours, it immediately reports the device as down, and that the file is older than 5hrs, although the file is less than 2 minutes old. *

F5-BIGIP-LOCAL-MIB - Error 400 - can't add any attribute
I get an error when choosing F5-BIGIP-LOCAL-MIB, version 11.2. The MIB tree is half full and in the end I get: Error occured during the MIB parsing. The error is : 400 I've found an older version of this MIB and using it I don't get this error. BUT I still can't add any attribute from the tree. When I select anything and click add, the screen refreshes and nothing happens. Anybody?

Processes in AppManager Showing Under Wrong PID
Hello, I have multiple, identically named processes running on a Win2008 server that I need to monitor. When I add one of them, the PID that is reflected in the Command and Args section is that of a different process running on the same Win2008 server. In fact, any process I add, all with different PIDs, all show as the same PID as another process. So, for instance, process with PID 15269 in Windows, shows as a PID of 9252 in the Command and Args line of AppManager. Consequentially, when this process
