Hi Guys We have Ad self Service Plus installed in OUR network. We need to deploy GINA in all our Desktop Machine. we have disable Admin$ share in all machine for security Purpose. Any other way that we can deploy GINA in all the machine By GPO or Logon script. Please Help Thanks in Advance.

MS Gina deployment via GPO / SMS
We are currently trialing AD Self Service Plus as a potential solution for our users. I have a quick question about other options for deploying the client. The only way to roll out the MS GINA client to user's desktops and laptops seems to be to use the website to push it out. This seems a very manual process especially as I have to worry about laptop users who won't be in the office and users in other time zones who are never in the office when I am. Is there any way to deploy the MS GINA msi using

Domain user automatically in member of field
Hi, I am user a template to create a user account. In the template we only have one field in the "Member of" which is "AGuser". When an account is created and the template above is used, in the Member of field "AGuser" is shown as well as"Domain user" is automatically entered. The "Domain user" is not in the template. E-mail has no real text, just says adssp.xml.notification.pwd_expiry_subject
Users are getting e-mails that just say adssp.xml.notification.pwd_expiry_subject for the subject and adssp.xml.notification.pwd_expiry_body for the body. What can I do to fix this?

Testing the trial but some changing passwords problems
Hi, I am just testing the ADSelfService trial version (the one that is limited for 50 users) in my dc. The domain is a Windows Server 2008, and I have no problems about reading the users from the directory, sending emails to them, creating password policies, and all the others administration tasks. My problem is that if I try to chaneg the password with a domain user, I get the following message: The password does not meet the password policy requirements. Enrollment Notification Varables not working
to make it look less like spam, I want to have the users full name rather than username in the Enrollment Notification. After upgrading adselfservice to the lastest version via update manager i cant logon on. after restarting the service and then starting the application i just get a blank page. (no logon prompt) Help !

Actually it works on schedule but not sending emails. No presence of email attempts found in log. Smtp server is configured. Exactly what does adding in a connection into ADManager Plus do for ADSelfService Plus? In the admin section, you can connect ADSelfService Plus into ADManager Plus but there is limited information as to what purpose or benefit does this offer.
Generating Reports
I need to be able to generate an audit report, per month and year to date of users who have reset their password through the ADSelfService Password Reset program. Currently I can only pull data for the current month. thanks.

Cannot Upgrade to build 4400 or 4410
I am currently on build 4310 and whenever I attempt and upgrade using the Update Manager the progress indicator stops at 98% and say something about post incantation process. I have left the update running for up to 30 minutes with no change in this status and have been forced to delete the SelfService Plus directory and recover from a backup ZIP file. Customizing the website title
Hi, Is it possible to change the title of the ADSelfService website from 'ManageEngine - ADSelfService Plus' to something else? We're working to rebrand/customize the site to fit in with our company standards and have been able to do most of it but have fallen short when it comes to changing the webpage title. I've found several <TITLE>xxx</TITLE> HTML tags but they don't seem to change the page. I'm guessing it might be buried in mysql but I'm not confident enough to start digging down in to that.
After Upgrade To 4410 Can Not Login to Web Interface
After following the process to upgrade from build 4100 to 4410 I am unable to login to the web interface. Users are able to click on "Forgot your password" or "Is your account locked" and work through their account issues but the general login to change profile information does not work. What happens if a User changes his password while "off net"?
If a password is changed from a location where the machine cannot reach a domain control what is done about the local SAM database on the machine? If I can't connect to VPN because my account is locked and used the Self Service portal over the web to reset my password, what is the password on the local machine? Is it the old one? Is there any tool to fix this or do they have to connect and than change their password a second time?
Minimum response length for enrollment questions
Minimum response length for enrollment questions is 5 characters. The first question on the list is, "What color is your car?" We can't have a 'blue' or 'red' car, since that is less that 5 characters. Same with, "What is your favorite color?" I can't find a way from the web console to change the minimum response length -- I'd like to make it 3 characters. Am I just missing it? Randy Clements
Gina reset/unlock does not work at CTRL-Alt-Del
We have Ad self service 4.4 4410 build on DMZ windows server 2008 . Everything works Ok apart from the ability to reset the password from Gina at CTRL-Alt-Del screen. The page cannot be displayed comes up. According to the client logs Gina tries to open URL: http://server:8888/AgentStatusUpdate.cc? This URL is not reachable through the IE7 too from the client after login. This URL only works from the Ad selservice server. The URL redirects me to :https://server/html/ResetUnlock.html This

I’m having some problems with ADSelfService Plus so I need your help. I upgraded to 4.4 and now when users click on the Reset\Unlock Account button on the Windows login screen, a message appears saying “Problem in Connecting with ADSelfService Plus server” Therefore, users cannot unlock their account or reset their password from the Windows login screen. Flag being set after Password Reset
Hi, Ok, I'm trying to understand the behaviour of the Self Service when users change their password. Everyday, I have someone calling me saying that they were able to successfully change their password but they can't use it afterwards. Everytime I check their account the flag "User must change password at next logon" turns itself on. Why is ADSSP doing that? Is there anything I can do to keep the ADSSP from turning that on? It happens everytime you change your password. This ruins the password changing
Using a Test OU Password Policy
I want to test ADSelf service on a customer site using a test OU and several test Users. I have created a new Password policy for this OU but is it possible to get ADSelf Service to look at Only this OU Policy (Instead of the default domain policy) when reporting on expiring passwords etc. At the moment I keep getting default domain policy not configured and not showing any results Cheers Paul
Deployment query
In an enterprise level does AD Self Service Plus have to be deployed on a server machine or a domain controller itself? Also are client installations necessary on all the machines in domain if the target audience is all the users in the domain?
