We could not have asked for more than this: to give you the good news of an improved version of ADSelfService Plus 4.4, while wishing you a happy New Year!

We wish you all a very happy and prosperous 2010, and present you an improved version of ADSelfService Plus 4.4 – the build 4430.

We also take this opportunity to thank you for your feedback and suggestions, which helped us improve the product.

Following features are the highlights of this release:

• Drag and Drop user interface customization (for AD self update section).

• Options to make important fields mandatory during self update.
  

• Security features to display challenge questions one by one; to prevent users from providing same answers to multiple questions; and to prevent users from using any word of a security question in their answers.

• Support for Portuguese.

• Complete support for Windows Server 2008 R2.

Enhancements carried out on:

• Auto Enrollment: Now, both security questions and answers can be imported, as opposed to the previous ‘answers-only’ import.

• Context Support: ADSelfService Plus now offers complete context support.

• German Support: Unlike previous version, the product is now available completely in German.

• Password Change Update: Unlike previous method of selective update, password changes are now updated immediately on all the domain controllers included in the product. 

Following issues were fixed:

• Issues related to Restrict Inactive User feature, which stemmed from domain naming conventions.

• Issues that caused unnecessary warning messages in IE6 upon SSL application.

• Self-service window that emanated during “Ctrl+Alt+Del” password reset lacked style sheet implementation. This issue has been resolved.
