Can I exclude email addresses when scheduling enrolment message?
Is it possible to exclude email addresses if I schedule an enrolment email? The email is scheduled for 2300 on a Tuesday, we want to make sure some of the shared mailboxes don't get the email. thanks
Password Requirements do not match settings in AD
Hello, We have a domain level password policy that enforces history, maximum age, minimum age, minimum length, and complexity requirements. However in the self service application those requirements are different, even after manually synching to the domain. Should self service be utilizing the same settings that we have identified in AD, or are the self service requirements separate? Thanks.

We have a number of home office sales staff that use a VPN connection to access our network. Will ADSelfService work with the VPN software to allow them to reset passwords and/or unlock their profile?

Password reset to field
I am hoping to manage an ou and have selfservice email out a new password to all of the accounts in the OU every week. The automator in the password policy would do this but it makes you supply a password. I would prefer the password be random. Easiest way to accomplish this?

Gina and windows 8.1
We have deployed Gina via GPO, as we were having difficulty to install from the web tool for all users. This works great for all Windows 7 & 8 users, but seems to install for Windows 8.1 user but doesnt show up on the lock screens any body can help?
How have users implemented the Enrollment option?

Unable to delete security question
Under Policy Configuration -> Security Questions -> Edit I'm unable to delete any questions and I know that some of the questions are not in use by any users (only a handful of users on the system during testing). The error received (when trying to remove any question) is: "Deletion Cannot be performed. Security Question in use by a user." Thanks for your help.
How to delete a question already in use?
I have entered a value to a question I now want to remove. It is saying can't be deleted and in use by a user. I am the only user and how can I remove the value from this question. I only want 3X secuirty questions and there is currently 4X which is confusing to users. Thanks, Liam
Domain Scan
Is there a way to customize the time that AD Self Service fetches new users into the software? We create accounts nightly and find that the users are unable to enroll right away due to the program not syncing the account into itself. If we could kick off the sync a time we can specify it would be very helpful for our end users.
Password Synchronizer
We are interested in utilizing the Password Synchronizer option with Salesforce. The usernames in Salesforce are normally email addresses and usernames in AD are not. How do we match the two to make things sync?

E-Mailing outside users
How does ADSelf-Service e-mail users who are setup for automatic notification of password expiration? Our organization has many contractors who do not receive e-mail address from our internal system, and I want to know if there is a way to send these people e-mails using a field on the user in Active Directory (hopefully the e-mail field that I can have them populate in ADSSP). Soon-To-Expire Password/Account Notifications
We would like alerts to go out 21 days, 14 days, and 7days before the users password expires on those days. After turning on these alerts a huge mess happened. Everyone who was under 21 days no matter what got alerts. (example 16 days or 5 days) Then on the next day they got an email that said: "Dear duffra, You have been reminded already about the impending password expiry (on 12/06/2013 11:27:59). However, you have not changed it yet. Please change it as soon as possible. Thank you. Regards Administrator"
Postgres SQL to MSSQL
We would like to move AD SelfService into our DMZ. We would like to ensure the DB is not housed on the same server as the web client application. Currently it was installed with the original Postgres DB and i'm not sure how to seperate the DB from the web server to a sepererate server. Ideally we would like to migrate the DB into MSSQL but from what i have read it looks like MSSQL is only an option for fresh installs and not migrations, but we would hate for all our users to loose their current enrollments

Reset and unlock works but 'change password' does not..
Hi, We are doing our final testing before releasing the product to our users. We have found that account unlocks and reset are working fine but the 'change password' function is not. Users can login but when they enter their old password and then the new and hit return, there is no error message, it just show the blank form again. Any ideas? thanks Jason

How do I exclude some users so they do not show up as not enrolled users. I have chosen a particular OU but I am still seeing some other user accounts especially service accounts that are in a different OU
Invitation E-Mail - Schedule for Unregistered users
I see there is a scheduler that can deliver a canned e-mail invitation for ADSSP enrollment. Is there a way to filter enrolled users from receiving this message? It's not fun having to extract from "currently enrolled users" the list and send the e-mail manually. Sean-Colin

Cannot Access Admin Login Page for AdSelfService Plus
Good Afternoon, We are currently evaluating the ADSelfService Plus tool and after hiding the admin login, we are now not able to get to the adminLogin.cc page. The error we receive is "You don't have permission to access this page! Return to home page" We had configured it to only allow login to the admin page from a specific box, and this is where we are now not able to get to the page to log in and continue configuration. Is there a setting in a file, registry key, or the DB that can be changed

Hello, Actually, the server of my company is in version 4,5 Build Number 4541. We project to upgrade to the latest version: 5.0 SP 3.0 Someone, that is no more in the company, changed the login page for the basic users. My questions: - is there a risk to loose the modified/personal homepage after doing the upgrade? - how do I do a rollback if there should be a problem? Thank you for the answers

Unable to access http://localhost:8888/adminLogic.cc from Server
Noticed about 1-2 weeks ago client were to able to connect to http://password.abc.com and unlock or reset their own network accounts. I can't even launch the client on the server with ADSelfService Plus installed it. I just "cannot display the webpage" The service and the system tray icon are started and running. Any ideas how to troubleshoot this? Thanks in advance.
Adding another domain to ADSelfService results in an error
When I attempt to add another domain to my ADSelfService Plus application, this error returns: You cannot perform this operation The domain I am trying to add is connected to my domain via an external incoming trust. The domain name resolves, as do the manually entered domain controllers. I have authentication turned on and am using the supplied user name and password the admin on the other domain supplied.
