Hello,
I've just installed the latest update to AD Self Service, and I notice you've made a little improvement on the issue we were having, but have not completely solved it.
We have many domain controllers in our organisation and a distributed services system, there are seperate DCs for local computer logins, email, lync instant communications, etc. so the Unlock across ALL domain controllers is a very useful feature of AD Self Service Plus for us.
However, having so many DCs, it takes time for AD Self Service to unlock on all the Domain Controllers, and unfortunately we don't have the most patient of end users, and they click "Unlock Account" button twice, this gives them the message: "
" with a style of an error message, unfortunately our users are so impatient, they don't even bother to read and instead only register a "Red Error Message" and immediately call the helpdesk saying it doesn't work.
Short of a mass cull of our users... we were hoping this could be made idiot proof, indeed it does appear you've made an attempt in the latest version by including a little spinning graphic to indicate it's doing something, and on some web browsers you might see the progress bar.
Sadly, for our users this is not good enough, therefore I once again ask you to please disable this button once the user has clicked it one so that they cannot click it again, and to display a new line of test once the button has been clicked, along the lines of:
"Account unlock in progress... please wait..."
This should be quite visible, highlighted in some way. The little progress graphic is ok and should still remain, however we need a new line of text as above, AND the button disabled to prevent a second click.
Many thanks.
