Blank page after self service password change
When our users use the self service portal to change passwords, instead of confirmation or failed page after attempting reset they get a blank page. Any idea what would be causing this? It will take the new password if it's in compliance, but the user has no feedback on if it succeeded or failed.
Change language select menu position

Password change option
Hello, I enable password change option and I have a problem. In IE all works fine, in Chrome after input login and password I see alert "This page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources", in Firefox after input login and password I see alert "Mixed content blocking". In password reset tool I don't receive any error. How I can fix this problem? Regards, Anton
SMS Enrollment
How do I enforce users enter their phone numbers with a leading '1' (trunk prefix) when enrolling? It will accept their phone number without it, then when they attempt to unlock an account the SMS will error out due to the missing '1'. The only option I see is to set the format to XXX-XXX-XXXX - which does the opposite, and does not allow them to enter the 1 at all. Or is there a way to have the SMS gateway just add the 1 if not present to all? Thank you!
Captcha field not work for Internal users
Recently we had upgrade our selfservice porta from Version 5301 to Version 5.3 SP2 5320. Now, our most of internal users report us that, they occured issue while reseting or login in self services. Continuosly they occured wrong Captcha while reseting password. & this is not for single user. We are unable to caught our productivity due to this, as users continuuosly complaint about this. we publish 'Get Started' notes to users. But it also not work. Hello, I have a problem. ADSSP work behind Barracuda Load Balancer. Barracuda configured as HTTPS redirect from 80 to 8888. When i click "Cancel" in ADSSP I go to http://mylink.com. How I can change default ADSSP link to HTTPS://...? Regards, Anton
Domain Users can not change passwords
I can change my password as a domain admin, but normal domain users can not. They get the following error:: Change Password Failed 1. Incorrect Old Password 2. Password chosen failed to meet any or all of the standards stated below: Minimum Password Length: A longer password is required. Password Complexity: Password should be a combination of alphabets & numerals. Minimum Password Age: When set, you cannot change password for specified time. Password History: Reuse of old password(s)
Unlock or reset password generate 2 verification codes or secure link via email
When using the latest version 5.3.5325, if I unlock account or reset password using email verification or sms verification, it will send out 2 emails or 2 sms. Only 1 of the verification code is valid while the other already expired. Why does it generate 2 verification codes or secure link? This happen only when using Internet Explorer 11 to do the account unlock or password reset. For Chrome and Firefox, it is OK with only 1 email notification.
Resetting a users Security Question
I'm not sure if this is even possible but is there a way to reset the end users security question/s? Or alternatively, force them to setup their account again. I have had a number of users tell me that they are being asked questions that there is no way they would ever use. Thanks for any help
Password Reset allows users to use previous password
Seeing how Password Reset is an admin function of AD(which requires no knowledge of the users old password), and change password requires the end user to know their password before they can change it, we noticed that users are able to click the "reset password" link on Self Service Plus and simply re-use a previous password. Setting a minimum age in group policy does nothing, as most users are smart enough to just reset it (rather than change it) just before it expires, so its already past the minimum
Problem with user password resets
I am using a test user that has an expired password, I am attempting to change it, and the old password is correct, and the new password follows all the rules I set, however it continually gives me the "Change Password Failed" notice. See attached.
SMS Service provider help for Self Service Plus
So we are on the newest version of Self Service Plus and are in the testing phase, however, I am having a very difficult time getting ANY response from SMS service providers. It seems that ManageEngine severed ties with ClickaTell, so the ClickaTell addon is no longer available. Automatically Read SMS Code - Android
Hi I've updated the Android App to version 1.1.9 to allow the SMS verification code to be automatically read by the ADSelfService Plus App. However the code still needs to be entered manually or pasted into the app to work. Is this not working as it should? Thanks

Hi everyone, Is it possible to force two-factor authentication for the unlock process? We definitely need this feature, but I can only find two-factor authentication for the enrollment process.

Captcha issues
ADSelfService version: 5.3 build 5320 Configuration includes a Citrix Netscaler for internal and external access. Netscaler services show everything is UP on the back-end server (only checks port 8888, which is what the server is configured to listen on. It has worked in the past. From external, the Captcha displays like a broken image, but internally, Captcha displays OK. Tried different browsers (Chrome, IE, Edge) with same results. Internal External Any ideas???
Local Profile Issue
Hi Team I just noticed that when user reset their password, it create a local profile on the server, that indicate that user has logged on the server. This is major issue as these profiles increased everyday. I need to know why it is happened and how to stop this. Thanks Abdul Challah

Hi, I have free password notifier already in use and installed on my server. Its latest version 5319. Now I'm trying to install password self service. I downloaded the ADSelfService Plus 5.3 Setup and started the installation. I get message "Click the link below to upgrade ADSelfService Plus to the latest version." and can't continue installation. How should I do the installation?

Gina/MAC Plug-in customization
We are running primarily windows 7 computers and are looking to push out the Client Software to all computers. However, on the computers we are currently running it on when you click the "Reset Password/Unlock Account" link it launches a window with the ManageEngine AD Self Service logo in the upper left corner. Can that logo be customized to be our company logo?

User gets blank screen after clicking on reset password link from GINA interface
Hi, We are testing ADSelfService Plus and have run into an issue where some users get a blank window after clicking on the reset password link on the Windows 7 GINA link. We are using SSL for the service, and the troubleshooting guide does indicate that this issue can be caused when using SSL and that it can be resolved by changing the port back to HTTP. I don't want to do this, as I need the service to run using SSL. Can someone help, please? We're on the latest version - build 5319 Thanks! Simon
Only able to reset password once
Hi, I'm having a problem where users are only able to reset their passwords once using ADSS+, every time thereafter we get an error message. This is even though we're seeing a green tick next to all the requirements: We've just set this up on our network so I'm sure that I've simply missed a step somewhere, if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Customize Securelink
When end users request to change their password, they're sent an email with a link to the password reset page. That link appears to be %securelink% macro from the customization page. The URL in this link has the incorrect server link. How can we configure this? Right now it's using the server name alone. We need to make this the DNS name of the server.

Hi everyone I have an ADSSP product version 5318 in production. When a user try to change his Windows password through the ADSSP portal it doesn't work. it display a green message that "the changing password was successful" but nothing happened on my DCs, the new password is not stored in the AD and the attributes like PwdLastSet not changed. for security reasons, we cannot enable WinRM service on our DCs. Local AD Cached password
I need some help configuring local cached password update via VPN (GINA/CP). We have a mixture of users using cisco, windows and Fortigate VPN clients on their machines. What are the parameters for each client? Are you limited to configuring only one? (The location information disappears from the other two when you save one.) When users login in and go to enrollment to change settings. They put in there new number or new answers and click 'update', it goes to the "Successfully Update the Registration." screen and then it never takes them back to the main screen. Is there a way to put a timeout on that so it takes them back or add a button that says continue? That is confusing a lot of our users.

Hi all, I just had a quick question that may have an obvious answer but I have users that send alerts stating they need to have their accounts unlocked manually by the admin because they are either blocked or restricted. I know how to remove both of these account states but was curious if anyone had an answer what causes an account to become restricted and what causes one to become blocked. I know that the blocked users report can be configured and I have this set to block after 5 failed attempts

Problem Changing Password
We have a user that is unable to change her password. All the error message says is "problem changing password". We do have complexity requirements configured, so it could be as simple as not complying with one of those requirements, however since the error displayed is so generic, I am unable to determine what the issue is. How can I troubleshoot this issue? Is there debug logging that I can enable to see what the problem is? It would be great if the error message could be updated to be less
