Reports in Office 365
When I run a report of a user in ADManager under AD Reports - Office 365 called Unlicensed Users - this reports shows me all the unlicensed users as well as any shared mailboxes. I'm assuming this is because shared mailboxes do not consume a license. At first I thought this was just a typo - and it should be unlicensed mailboxes, however this is not the case since unlicensed users do not have a mailbox, but shared mailboxes do actually contain mail data and/or mailboxes (however they do not have

Hi, We're experiencing issues starting ADM after installing updates on our server 2008 R2 box however we're unsure whether the two are connected as there is nothing in the Event Viewer. O365 management error "Please select at least one license"
Hello, ADManager Build 6500 I'm not sure how to use the O365 Management feature. I have an O365 account setup in ADManager, and it accepts/tests fine. I also have the Azure AD Windows Powershell module installed on the server. When I go into AD Mgmt > Office 365 Management > Assign / Remove Licenses, I see the 3,700 users in O365 and their licenses. However, I don't appear to have any options or features to do anything with them. If I select someone from the list and try remove license or something,
Can't view ADM in browser after moving to new server
I've followed the instructions on moving my installation of ADManager Plus (latest version) to a new server. It is working as normal on that server, but I can't connect from a browser on my local network outside of that server. I've also installed the ADMP service and verified that it's running. Any ideas as to why I can't view it?
Why does updating using a CSV file only show 100 rows?
I am updating multiple users with multiple groups. In my CSV file I have headers for sAMAccountName and memberOf. There are 211 lines in the spreadsheet being updated, but when I run the import this only shows 100 lines. Is this maxing out at 100 or is it updating all of the users? Automation Policy Powershell to clear Manager field and hide Exchange account from GAL
Hello, I was hoping to get some guidance as to what I'm doing wrong with my custom script in an Automation Policy. I am by no means a script/powershell expert, but I'm hoping I'm on the right track. Basically I have an automation policy that disables the user, resets the password, and removes all group membership. Unable to add new Help Desk Technician in AD Delegation.
When trying to add a new technician, and I choose the 'Select AD User', the user I'm looking for doesn't show up. This user is in the same security groups as others but I can't find her. Also when you try to filter by groups, all the groups are listed but the 'Get users' button retrieves a 'No Matching Object(s) Found.' message. I've had very little experience with this AD Manager console but know how to use AD. I must be missing something. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
ManageEngine ADManager Plus service won't start after upgrade
Hello. We upgraded our server yesterday from 6.3.5.0 to 6.3.8.0, and everything seemed fine. However, this morning we came in and couldn't get to the webpage. We logged onto the server and found the service was stopped, and would not start, giving this error: We then found out the drive had run out of space, so we extended it, freeing up 50 GB and rebooted the server, but same issue. Enabling HTTPS
Hi All, I have been running ADManager Plus for a while now and been using HTTP to connect. I enabled HTTPS couple days ago and now I cannot access the tool. I get " This page can't be displayed" message. It did work right after I enabled HTTPS. Now the service does not start and netstat does not show port 8443. Thanks
Custom LDAP Attributes
Hi, We have added a custom attribute for proxyAddresses to capture the addtional e-mail addresses for our Distribution groups. For some reason this is only picking up a single entry. We have around 3 proxy addresses for each distribution mailbox group on AD, so do you know why this is only picking up 1 of them ? A
Powershell debugging
Anyone know how to get debug information when running custom script? I have a script to run when a user is disabled that, if they manage and other users, re-assigned those users to the manager of the now disabled user, and then sends the new mamager an email. The user gets disabled OK, the process says the script ran OK, but the manager does not get changed and the email does not get sent. Any ideas? Mark Ashley Weston College

AD Manager Plus Application stops when loging out from server.
I have been running AD Manager Plus for 30 days without any issues on a Windows 2012 R2 server, but now suddenly when activated a license the AD Manager Plus application stops working as soon as I logout from the server. So I have to logon to the server again and start the AD Manager Plus application again. As long as my account is logged on to the server everything is working as it should, but as soon as I log off again the AD Manager application stops again. I can't find anything in the Event viewer
Hide System Template from Requesters view
Hi I have built a new template for our requesters to complete, however, when they go to Request a new user, they are displayed with the System Template by default and have to change to another template manually. Is there a way to hide the system template from the end user. I have already set the template i want as default and this appears under AD Mgmt > Single User Creation, but not under Workflow. Hi, we're currently on AD Manager Plus v. 6.2.8.1. I have not been able to successfully update the software to v. 6.3.5. I have downloaded a few different update versions, in the hope that one might work, but none have. The error I get is: "The ppm file that you ahve specified is not compatible with this product." The versions that I have attempted to upgrade using are ""6200 through 6292", "6300 through 6341" and even some of the other, lower versions. Can you suggest where I might get the correct

Bulk Importing Mail Contacts using CSV import
I am trying to import multiple contacts using the Create Bulk Contacts and importing a CSV file. I set my CSV file up based on the sample. Everything imports successfully, but when I look at the contacts in the Exchange Admin Center, their email address does not show up. They also do not show up in the Global Address List.
Run ADManager Plus as a Service using MSA
Hi there, We have installed ADManager Plus on Win server 2008 R2 and we would like to use a Managed Service Account to run the Service. We have installed the account and the service does start and runs without error using the MSA but we noticed the dashboard modules do not load when running the service with this account. What permission do we need to assign to the MSA so that it can run the service and load all of the modules? Thanks!

Problem with apostrophes in user names?
Just checking if this is a known issue or something odd with our set up. We have found in AD Manager Plus that we are unable to open the properties for any users who have an apostrophe in their surname (eg o'brien).
