ADManager v6.2 - Exception while checking server status.Connection refused: connect

Hi,

We're experiencing issues starting ADM after installing updates on our server 2008 R2 box however we're unsure whether the two are connected as there is nothing in the Event Viewer. The splash screen loads and the progress bar stalls at Loading Application Layer and slowly scrolls off to the left.
