ADManager 7040 upgrade icons?
I just upgraded from 7020 to 7040 and now the icons for everything seems stretched. Nothing else seems to be wrong with my upgrade but it seems like the icon references are wrong.
ADManager Plus Scheduled Reports - Save to Network Share
I need to be able to save the generated reports to a network share. I configured the Storage Path of the Scheduled Report to the share and verified that the service account configured for ADManager Plus has full control to the share. When the schedule runs it does not write any files to the share. Looking at the Schedule List it indicates that the manual execution was successful. The Scheduler History does not show any executions. Success or Failure. Has anyone successfully configured a scheduled

Help desk roles "AD Report" checkbox is unchecked after update to 7.0.1
Hi After update ADManager to last version 7.0.1 Build 7010 I found that the checkbox "AD Reports" (in "AD Delegation" / "Help Desk Roles") is unchecked for all helpdesk roles, but all reports sub-item checkboxes remain checked as they were. If I enable checkbox "AD Reports" for helpdesk role, my settings is resetting and all reports sub-item checkboxes becomes checked.
Does ADmanager SMTP support STARTTLS?
Our Exchange environment uses TLS over SMTP by passing STARTTLS after the SMTP connection is made. Does ADmanager support this?
G Suite Organization Unit not found
Hello, I'm a new user for ADManager Plus. I try to connect my G Suite with ADManager. I can see all G Suite Groups but not G Suite Organization Unit. so I'm stuck on there. can you anyone please help me. thanks
The ManageEngine AdManager Plus service started and then stopped
I cannot get my ADManger Plus service to run. After a server reboot it will stay running a few minutes and then stop. It cannot get it to start again. Other Manage Engine services are running with the service account with no problems. I see nothing helpful in the event log. Any help would be appreciated.
Persistent connection to SfB
We have templates that automatically create Skype for Business accounts. Every now and then the account creation errors for the SfB part and we have to create the persisten connection again. Does anyone have any idea how to prevent this from happening? Thanks, Andy

Hi. In email notification template used macros %ExecuteLink%. In received email this link contains hostname (http://hostname/....) But we using https and signed certificate for FQDN-name. Whether it is possible to make so that this macros used a https and FQDN name ? Thank you.
Upgarde to build 6612 failed
Hi. When i updating to latest build 6612, I get an exception "java.sql.SQLException: MaxLength of the column [ADSMGPODetails.USER_CONFIG] - [250] cannot be reduced to [50] when it contains some data" We using MS SQL database.
Automation workflows not viewable by other technicians
We created a bunch of automation tasks while logged in as the Admin account. Now when we login as an Active Directory account we don't see the automation tasks. We have made the users Super Admins and we still don't see the tasks. Are there any procedures to be able to have all of the technicians view/change automation tasks for each other? Thanks -Drew

ADMP dont send SMS when resetting the user password. But sends SMS when creating a new user. Its Bug?
How we can change the length of the field department in ADMP?
Our AD schema has been changed and the field length of the department is 128 characters. But the ADMP does not allow to save the name of such length. Can this behavior be changed?

What permissions are required on the file servers for this functionality to work? When we attempt to move or change file permissions through the interface we receive a permissions error.
AD Manage custom roles, technicians, and template folder location
Good Morning, What folder does ADManager Plus store the configurations for technicians, roles, and user creation templates? We had to reinstall the newest version and restore the database with ManageEngine, and the configurations are not showing. The tech thought that they were stored in the DB, but it appears not, and I know that I had to restore the folders before. I don't want to test this, as our prior install is a different version. Can't Start As Service After Fresh Install
Hello, I'm trying to install ADManager as a Windows service, however, I can only seem to run it via cmd (run.bat) and from the start menu (ADManager Plus > Start ADManager Plus). Sometimes it will start up for like a second, but then it will be stopped

ADManager ports between Win10 client and ADManager service through a firewall
Hi We are currently evaluating ADManager and have the service setup in the cloud behind a firewall using HTTP 8080 and / or HTTPS 8443 We've opened the ports up on the firewall so that clients on premise can access the ADManager portal - http://server:8080 or https://server:8443 (I change the connection settings in Admin/Connection page depending whether I'm trying to access securely or non securely. Unfortunately I get "This page cannot be displayed" every time I try to connect from a Windows 10
Vital Helpdesk Reports buttons missing from Dashboard

Errorcode 80071392 when creating User
Hi there, when trying to create a new User via my own Usertemplate in aDManager Plus I receive the Errorcode 80071392: The Object already exists. Unfortunately I created rules, so when ADManager detects a duplicate Username it just adds a Number to it. But I think it isn't working... Then I tried to add the Number manually by myself. But the erorr still exists. I am on the newest Version of ADManager Plus. What could be my mistake? Thank you!

Automation tasks from Admin not showing
Not sure if this is by design but Automation Tasks that were created by the Admin user do NOT show up in the Automation Tasks of other users who have the Super Admin role. The weird thing is that the Scheduled reports created by the Admin user show up in the Scheduled reports section of other users. Basically we want to make sure no one is creating scheduled tasks that are doing the same thing.
Exchange issues in User Creation Template - 6.5.8
Technician is receiving "Alert Message - 'Mail Alias' is a mandatory field. You can't leave it empty." The field and tab is silently active in the template and has a naming scheme specified. Creating the user myself, the user gets created with the following errors: Error Code 80072030 : Error in setting attributes, There is no such object on the server. How to Find Active Database

They reside on the same database server (MSSQL), but there are two databases for each program and I'm not sure which is actually being used in production. Delete Account Custom Script - Username not passed to script?
As part of our account deletion, I configured a custom script to run against the username (under Admin->Delete/Disable Policy). However, the command isn't being passed the username or department when I use the %username% and %department% variables (they work for all other custom scripts I've implemented with ADManager). Is this functionality not available when an account is deleted? Or is there something I'm missing? Custom script I'm running: powershell c:\AcctScripts\RemoveFDrive.ps1 -Username
ADManager Plus reports cannot be show under "Scheduled List"
HI, Please be informed that we encounter a problem is that we checked our "Scheduled List" and it will said "No existing Schedules". As we checked, we still can received the schedule report via email and we check "Scheduler History" and the report status is normal. May I know how to get back the report in "Scheduled List"? Thanks
Issues with AD Manager Plus High Availability in an Azure environment
Has anyone else had issues configuring ADManager Plus High Availability in an Azure VM environment? I have been working with ManageEngine concerning the issue for a week or so. The tech, I have been working with, said our configurations are correct. He has not been able to get it working either even re-configuring HA multiple times. He is checking with the developers for possible issues with Azure. This is within a government Azure tenant. I am hoping that it is not an issue with ADManager
Disable policy not passing " in custom script
I am using a custom script for account creations and passing the following just fine: customCREATE.bat "%physicalDeliveryOfficeName%" %username% When I try to do the same in the custom fields for disabling an account, the quote is transformed: customDISABLE.bat "%physicalDeliveryOfficeName%" %username% I am scripting off of the office field because they all have their own file servers. The problem is, we have some offices with two-word names, so there is a space. I need to pass the quotes

notification email link issue
We are trying to set up Workflow notification emails from the AdManager Plus application. In the mail it includes an 'Execute' link back to the application. However, it is only putting the base server name in the link. How do we change this to be the fully qualified DNS name? It should also be https. Example: current link is http://server01:8080/WorkFlowMail.do should be: https://server01.domain.net:8443/WorkFlowMail.do Note: we do have Enable SSL Port checked with 8443 on the Admin ->Connection

LDAP Custom Attributes
I'm needing to pull Mail Enabled Groups reports. I'm having to do a lot of re-work on these reports with comparing to exchange report to determine weather this is a security group or a dynamic group. I tried created a custom attribute but it doesn't show anything when I ran the mail enable groups report. Please help.

Upgraded from 32 bit to 64 bit. Lost everything. Please advise.
I followed the instructions in this forum on upgrading ADManager Plus from 32 bit to 64 bit. I was able to get the 64 bit version installed. However, I have lost everything that I built in the 32 bit version. All templates, automations, webapp settings, and the service no longer will install or uninstall. We are down and no longer able to use ADManager Plus until this is resolved. Please advise. Thank you. James Rigoulot
Default user auto login
Hi Guys, My colleague who has installed ADmanager plus has recently left the workplace. When I try to access the system from any computer on the domain - It types in the default "Admin" username and password. This means any user who knows about the system existence may open it and edit my AD. How do I block the system from typing in the default admin? Thanks
Strange Issue
Hi, We have a strange issue whereby when you review a user and click their Account Tab the password appears with the password ************* but the retype password blank. This means you can't proceed without either exiting (It errors if you click away) or changing their password ! I've not not had to amend users but all we have done recently is deploy a fresh install on a new server.....there are no other problems. Any ideas ? A
Setting the default mail settings
I am having trouble configuring the outgoing mail server. I have installed other ManageEngine products with no issues using my network Exchange server. At the moment I have the mail outgoing server set to FQDN, port 25, anonymous access. When I test it fails with the error of Sending Failed Click here to troubleshoot Any suggestions?? Thanks!
Excluded Groups doesn't work?
I'm testing ADmanager Plus for our environment and was testing on excluding specific groups of employees that are technicians shouldn't be able to see or edit. But after adding groups and even a specific OU for testing purposes and going ahead and signing in as the technician that has the exclusions I still see the OU and a profile that's under the group that was excluded while trying a task. Everything else seems to be functioning just fine but excluding Groups doesn't seem to be working for me.
