Can't add new/copy Technician
Hello, I am trying to create a new technician however when I enter the username in the "select AD user" field it returns no results. I click on the "choose" link and enter the username and it returns nothing. However, the user does exist and is included in a user report. One thing I noticed was that new users are not shown when trying to add as technician but older users can be added. Am I missing something obvious here? Any help will be much appreciated. Regards

Deleted users removes AD-account including Exchange mailbox
Starting today we're using the Exchange functionality in AD-manager for creating emailaccount during the creation of new Active Directory accounts. This is working great. However, our servicedesk who creates and manages the Active Directory account should not be able to deleted mailboxes. The deletion policy is set to prevents the servicedesk from deleting a user mailbox. The strange now is when the servicedesk deletes an user through AD-manager the mailbox belonging to this users is deleted as well.
Bulk Remove Users from Groups
Is there a way in AD Manager Plus to remove all users from a select csv list of groups? I have a large list of groups that I need to remove all users from. Performing this task via user account or group membership report lists takes too long to process and is very slow. Having an option for removing all users from specific groups directly would be much more efficient and quicker.

Hi When creating a help desk role for say 'group management' which only includes the 'modify single group' property, is it possible to further limit what can be modified for the group, for example 'manager can update members list' only? It appears this feature is available for roles with 'create' properties but not for modify. User Creation using AD manager
I currently have templates set up for creating users using AD manager that only require my help desk techs to enter information in certain fields. This works, however, when the user is created, the name listing in Active Directory is the username, instead of the full name as it would be prior to manually creating the user in Active Directory. Automation Import Problem - CSV import failed
Folks, I get a "CSV import failed:Exception occurred while importing data from CSV file.File has not been updated since the last time it was read. " error when I "Run Now" or when the automation scheduled time occurs. I have replaced the original file with a new one with new data appended, and a new time stamp. AD Import for Office 365 SMTP ProxyAddresses Attribute
Dear Support I am trying to import new users into Active Directory. However, I need to set the proxyAddresses to SMTP: user@domain.com. I have put the attribute but it doesn't get imported into the system. We have AD and Office 365 no exchange server but I can see the attributes on the users Attributes tab. Getting '80072030' error when attempting to create new security groups
Hello, I am trying to add/create new security groups in Active Directory, and when I attempt to do so, I receive the following error against each record: Error In Creating Group,There is no such object on the server. - Error Code : 80072030 I have gone into Domain Settings/Actions/Update Domain Details, and selected both OU and Groups to refresh. I then get a "Refresh request is being processed, the data will be updated in a few moments." message. How can I tell if/when this process has completed?
Account Creation - home drive label?
If I specify a home drive path in ADUC it doesn't display the full server path to the user's mapped home drive when the visit the Computer folder. However if I have this created through ADManager, it appears to make visible the whole path (like \\server01\profiles$\username). Is there any way to make it map the home drive (like to the H: drive letter) to their path at \\server01\profiles$\%username% but not show the full server name in the mapping? I think the only way around this in the meantime

Bulk Group Creation Error
Hi, Is there a limit to how many users I can add to a group during bulk group creation? I have a CSV file that creates groups and adds about 14 users but I keep getting an error saying the server is unwilling to process the request: Code 80072035. I have looked for this error and ensured the causes are not in the CSV file. No duplicates etc. Really need to get this working as we have 37 groups to add with 14 users in each one.

Modifying one local user account on multiple servers
Hello, We just had an instance where we had to change the password on a local admin account used on several servers. This was time consuming to say the least! i am curious as to what users are doing or developers recommend in terms of updating employees' Titles and departments. How is this best done through ADManager when automating? Would you simply have a csv export from the HR database with employeeNumber and Title? And how can you automate matching the users in AD based on that attribute or based on other attributes in order to update those types of other attributes?

I am creating a template in ADManager to use when I disable users. In my template I want the value for the Description field to the current date and my initials so I know I disabled this person on this date. Is there a way to put the current date in the the field without having to manually typing it in every time?

Home folder not getting created while copying user
Hello, I ran into an issue while creating a user account (copying an existing one). The template is set to map the home drive to \\server\share\%username% However, it picks up the the existing user's home folder (username of existing user) and maps it to the new user's. Is it possible to create user creation templates that have a hierarchy? For instance, I would like to create a store template with basic location info, then create a job template for that store that uses all the template settings for the store, but job specific attributes in the job template like the manager or something like that. Hi all, I've setup my team to hide users from the Outlook GAL using AdManager. though this setting does sync through to AD (I can see the 'MSExchHudeFromAddressLists' in AD for the user reads TRUE), the user never actually gets hidden from the GAL. What am I missing? Thanks.

Change Account "Password Never Expires"
We have quite a few accounts with "Password Never Expires" checked. I'd like to uncheck those. Ideally I could set each OU to expire a week a part or two so everyone isn't getting prompted at the same time. Or prompt at next login. I can't seem to figure out how to change this setting either way in AD Manager. Can this be done? Thanks.

When doing a bulk user import via CSV are you not able to customize headers? in the Admin section for LDAP attributes you can add customized LDAP headers but when using the CSV import those created are not there - Am I am missing something? Or is this functionality not available at the present time -
