I broke ADManager (and ADAudit). Database issue?
Our AdManager and ADAudit server ran out of space on C: drive, and the services could not be restarted after cleaning up space. I suspect it's a database problem, but I don't have the first idea how to go about fixing errors. I'd reinstall the lot if it weren't for all the reports I've set up. Any ideas?
Can't create scheduled report for group members
Hi I need to create a scheduled report that will send me a list of all members of a certain group. When I try creating an AD report it works, but I cant schedule it. These are the steps: tab AD Reports -> Scheduler Report -> Schedule New Reports Select Reports: Group Reports -> Group Members + ...then I get a list of my AD groups, I select the one that I need, but it does not accept it.... And i cant get pass this error message: Any ideas? Tnx! :)
Custom Name Format - Additional Attributes?
Is it possible to use other LDAP attributes in a custom name format? For example, we use the last three of the employeeID attribute in the user name. Thanks!
Report for all accounts with an expiry date
Good Morning, I noticed that there are no reports available that will display all accounts with an expiry date. I know that we can set the number to something very high and that does work, however, it can't be 100% accurate. I did submit a feature request, but would like to know if anyone has a way around this or has any details on when/if this can be available. Thanks!
Apply template to existing accounts
It would be useful to be able to apply a template to an existing account or account in the same way as it can to ne accounts. I.e existing values for groups, logon script etc are replaced by those in the template. This would be useful for single users and bulk users Hiren

New field added in AD by Schema Extension
Hello, I have one question about this product, if we add a new field by schema extension, this one will be view automaticaly by your software or otherwise we must modify something in your software. ADManager Plus User Creation
Greetings, I have just intstalled ADManager and everything went smoothly. First question is while the system has a default login of 'admin' with a password that I can change as desired, how do I add other users to the product? I do not want to allow people to log in as 'admin'. Does ADManager use AD to authenticate it's users, and if so, how do I manipulate a users AD credential to control access to ADManager?

Is it possible to revist the account creation and run a report to determine who created the original account? Even though a template was used? Logon Name Format
When creating a user template, is there a way to create the Logon Name Format to use Initials rather than full names? My username format is First Initial + Full Last Name. i.e. John Smith's username would be JSmith Thanks.

I am having issues doing a bulk import. It will only import the first two rows from the Csv file. The remainder of the rows import, as disabled users with missing attributes ex: givenName, name, displayName, sn, title,SAMAccountName, userPrincipalName Any help will be appreciated.

Our company have a large number of people working remotely and password changes have to happen every 30 days. I downloaded the demo of ADM+ to try out, but I am a bit confused about the self-service portal feature. When logged in as a basic user in the online demo (4.0), I see the options for unlocking a co-worker's account and specifying which employees are allowed to unlock your own account. I do not see those in the copy I downloaded to run in my test network (4.1), and cannot figure out how to enable them. CSV Import, error with accountExpires
Hello, I'm using a csv file to create multiple user. In my csv, I have the accountExpires value. When I import it, it says an error occured code 8000 and then create user without reading accountExpires. Here is my csv: userPrincipalName,sn,givenName,password,description,accountExpires af0700,af,0700,pass,desc,2008-07-25 the format in my ad server is yyyy-mm-dd for date. I tried yyyy/mm/dd and it didn't change a thing. Thanks for your help
BUG: Help Desk Delegation doesn't work after adding user
After I added a test user to AD via ADM+, I can no longer add Help Desk technicians. When I click browse AD, a window showing only the user I created through ADM+ appears as selections, and the search for the user I want from AD doesn't work. It's like ADM+ is now only searching some internal DB for this function now instead of querying the AD like it should. It worked fine before I added a user through ADM+. Integration with ServiceDeskPlus breaks resolve notification
Just downloaded and installed the V4.2 Pro versn on trial on a seperate server from our live Service Desk Plus installation ( 7011 ). During the ADManager configuration it requests the Service desk port and an admin account so these ( naively ) were entered and tested and accepted fine. Net result is the link at the top of Service Desk Plus now goes to this test install, we don't have a live install of ADManager so that's not an issue. Question regarding changing password
If I have help desk person who is not a Domain Admin and I allow them to reset passwords, will they be able to reset the passwords of all users less than or equal to his access level? Or will they also be able to reset domain admin passwords as well? How exactly does that work? Thanks in advance.

HelpDesk Technician Delegation
I just recently upgraded to 4 helpdesk technician licenses. I continue to get an error when I attempt to delegate a security role to a user. here is the error I am getting: User has no permission Error code 80070005 I have searched the knowledge base with no success. I have also left 2 phone messages with Script Logic and submitted an online support request. I have heard nothing back from any of my requests. Exchange 2007 mailbox creation issue
We have just discovered an issue with the creation of our Exchange 2007 mailboxes using the ADManager tool. What is happening is when an account gets created through AD Manager the account free/busy information is not available. The only we have found to resolve this is if we disconnect the mailbox then reconnect the mailbox then everything works. I am trying to use the create user import option to create accounts. So far most things are working fine except for Manager and a secondary email address. Here is what I am using for Manager: "CN=Norris,CN=Jackie,OU=Hospital,OU=Departments,OU=Executive Staff,OU=Managers,DC=fgh,DC=com" What do I have wrong? If I use this the whole user fails. And for secondary address I have the header "proxyAddress" along with SMTP:xxxx@fghi.com. This does not populate at all.
