We're running ADManager Plus 5.2.0 (5220). Our domain controllers are Windows Server 2008R2 but we're only running Exchange Server 2003.
In ADManager Plus we can do all exchange tasks such as create Mailboxs and SMTP addresses etc but we're unable to assign Mailbox rights.
A red icon appears on the Set Mailbox Rights page and displays the following information:
Exchange System Manager or Exchange Management Console is needed to be installed in the same machine.
If we ignore this message and attempt to assign rights it returns the error:
Unable to modify the user. Error : Setting MailboxRights Failed.Catastrophic failure - Error Code : 8000ffff
We've installed the Exchange System Manager on a test machine and the server hosting ADManager Plus but it always returns the same error.
What are we missing? Is the setting of Mailbox rights supported with Exchange 2003?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
