We are able to pollit and discover all the interfaces successfully: - interface name - interface speed - interface status However there is no data for RX or TX. Hi, Running OpManager Build Number 11500 with NFA v10.2.5 Build 10250 We have multiple devices loaded into the system at the moment, and i am trying to configure the alerting side of the system. In order to minimise false positives, we are tuning the threshold settings for each device template (windows 2012 r2 mostly, but a number of other OS versions). I did edit of the existing interface template and applied on all related interfaces with Apply template to all interfaces option For example: Admin > Interface Templates > all types and did edit of template 135 L2VLAN. the new template is applied on all interfaces, but when i go particular device interface which has the same type : Type L2vlan (135) this interface

Using either Internet Explorer or Firefox, is there a way to make the web client or windows itself produce an audible sound when an alert comes up on the pop-up notifications on the bottom of the screen? How to monitor for Disk Failure on HP ML350 G6
So we have OpManager installed and running and SNMP setup. I can see all my branch servers and various alarms and statistics. But I need to be able to monitor for diks failure form the RAID controller. I can see no hardware monitoring at all in OpManager on these servers. What do I need to do to monitor the disks? Is ther any documentation anywhere that gives a guide on how to setup this type of monitoring? Rob

Op Manager - vCeneter discovery
Good day, I seem to be having an issue with Op Manager doing a discovery of my ESX hosts and vm's. I have successfully added the two vcenters but the it never adds any hosts or vm's. I can do a CSV import but I would like to get this working as we will be adding 40+ vm's in the next 3 months and adding them manually is not an option as we want this automated. I have stepped through the instructions that are in the help section but the instructions seem to not work, any assistance would be OpManager
How to setup alerts on ESXi datastore usage?
Hello, I want to monitor my VMWare ESXi 5.5 datastore usage. I can see in OpManager that it can see this data (free space, used, etc) but don't see how to get alerted on it if it drops below a certain threshold. Please advise. Thank you.

Cant monitor free disk space with wmi after installing Microsoft APP-V client
Servers I install Microsoft APP-V client on I am not able to monitor free disk space with wmi. I have taken a clean windows 2003 R2 server discover it with Opmanager and it finds the disks, I Delete the server from Opmanager install Microsft APP-V client an then discover the server agent and it doesn't find any disk with WMI. I am now running Opmanager Build Number: 8024

snmp is not recognized
Hi, I have one server with the same config as others, which is not recognized as snmp enabled when discovering in OpManager. SNMP is configured and running on the server, it does report in MibBrowser and SNMPWalk, but OpManager doesn't see SNMP on it and monitors don't return anything. It's a Windows 2003 SP2 and setup is identical to other 12 servers, which are reporting just fine. Any suggestions?
Threshold Rule Violation not working properly
I set up notifications for our servers last weekend, and due to backups, thresholds were being hit and I was being spammed with alerts. So I logged into the system and Unchecked Threshold Rule violation in the notification setup. However I continued to get spammed the whole weekend. In the end I had to set it to only email on Critical alerts to reduce the number of emails, it didn't stop them totally and left us exposed if there were other alerts at trouble or attention. I'm on latest build of OpManager

Hi, We recently bought а supcription on OpManager Essential fnd installed the product. We have SAN HP MSA 2040, so we would like to monitor it. For this reason we installed OpStor plugin. After restart of OpManager we gain.. nothing. OpStor plugin didn't even start with messege " OpStor Server Fault OpStor Server Fault". Please help to resolve this situation.
Request: Too many interfaces!
All my servers have over 2 dozen software interfaces, like "WAN Miniport" or "Packet Scheduler". I don't want to monitor these by default when discovering devices. I would like to create a custom interface template based on the name of the interface. For example, don't monitor any interface name "WAN Miniport". Alternatively, can you add an option to disable monitoring of new discovered interfaces when adding a new device? Then I can manually just enable monitoring of the one or two "real" interfaces.
Editing Thresholds on Virtual Devices
When I added my vCenter all devices came back as Virtual Devices, once I started adding the SNMP and WMI passwords on these devices OpManager changed their category to Windows... Great. However, now I want to do a mass edit on the thresholds for the VIWebServices, I've edited at the original template level fine, but now that all my servers are 'Windows' boxes they are no longer picking up the template. How do I edit the thresholds of all these devices without manually going through a few hundred

Using MSSQL monitoring
I am very new to OpManager. We do have the MSSQL monitoring add-in but I can't seem to get ot to work for all the servers I see. Is there a simple check list I could employ to be able to get MSSQL monitoring funtioning on those servers I'm having difficulty with? I get pretty far into it but when it come to where you select the databases to monitor it's blank.
Availability report - incorrect up time
I have a time window of 6am - 10pm. This equates to 16hr/day 112hrs/week. When I run the availability report for the previous week, the 100% value = 4d 10hr (106 hours). Why is there a 6 hour difference? Why is the value not 112 hrs. Ideally I want to run an availability report for the last month (6am - 10pm, Mon Fri). This does not appear to be possible. Can this be confirmed? Thanks
