Hi, New to OpUtils and still setting it up. Managed to get MAC addresses being detected and resolved to IP addresses, but how do I get them mapped to ports on my Cisco switches?

I need a complete example of how to set up a sql script that I can use in the script monitor. I know how to write SQL I just don't know how to set it up in OpManager.
Does not find any Network Cards
How do I get OPManager to show information on my NIC's? I am using the evaluation version. I have added a several Servers, and it will not display any NIC information? Do I need to install an OpManager agent on the servers? I have WMI and SNMP configured, and I can successfully ping them using SNMP. I have tried restarting the endpoint, restarting the SNMP service, Server rediscover etc. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We're trying to set up SPM in v12200 but there are no switches available to add to a schedule We are licensed for 250 ports Are we missing something or is there another way to add switches to SPM?

Issue with DNS Resolving in Build 12200
Good morning When we installed OpManager 12200 we had an issue with the DNS Reverse Lookup which meant that lots of machines were showing up with their IP Address instead of the resolved name. We have now resolved the DNS issue and tested this via the DNS resolver, which works, however the monitored machines are still displaying the IP Address. Rediscovering the machine does not change anything. Can i force OpManager to resolve the IP of the monitored machines or do i need to delete the

After all the file has installed i have this web browser open which indicates that system is initializing modules. but this process is taking forever. Problem with backup cisco device in DeviceExpert

I created an event log monitor but it will only email when I set the criteria to Critical.

I need to change the threshold for the application monitors from Critical to Attention. When I set the threshold through the administration tool it applies it to Critical.
Critical Alerts for Router/ISP Down or Unreachable
I'm looking for the best way to configure monitoring alerts ONLY for when the router/switch/ISP/Power is down/unreachable. I'm in the process of setting up thresholds, templates, and alerts but had to disable temporarily as were getting many email alerts. Ill eventually re-enable alerts for CPU, Mem, buffer, tempatyre, packet loss etc.... We have over 30+ branch offices and our primary way we would like to monitor is by getting a CRITICAL ALERT/email notification if the router uplink is unreachable.

DATABASE PROBLEM!
Hello I did a clean install to opmanager and first added vmware and I let it discover its vm-s. It only discovers certain vm-s based on i don't know what and i cant add other vm-s to monitoring that don't have snmp because it requires credentials. So my question is how did vcenter added several vm-s to monitoring and others not(without snmp)? So I got my vcenter monitoring with several vm-s. And it stops at 26 ( i have 40sthing vm-s really). 200 interfaces issue
Hi everybody, I am trying to clear our monitoring system. When I try to unmanage uneeded interfaces I am getting error: "Please select less than 200 Interfaces". Is it possible to change the limit in the settings/registry or I need to go straigh to the DB? Thank you, Pavel

NetFlow error notification: No interface found.Device Adding Failed
The device has passed the SNMP credentials. The device was also in NetFlow before but was removed. Trying to re-add the device but getting the notification, "No interface found.Device Adding Failed". I only have 2 Netflow interfaces allowed to be monitored. Im not monitoring any at the momenet. So my question is, how do I add and remvoe interfaces to Netflow. Im using OpManager V.12 with Netflow/Flow analysis already added on.

We were told that ManageEngine Op manager service account needs Domain Admin or Local Admin wrights, this is a problem as we don't wish to grant Domain Admin wrights. I am needing to run reports for Device/URL Availability, but I need to be able to do something like M-F 7a-7p & Sat 7a-2p for reporting. I have just discovered Opmanager has decided "OpManager has detected that it has lost network connectivity and has suspended all monitoring. I have checked and its network remained perfectly fine (Its connected to an internal network on one nic and the internet via another port) and its Event Log shows no issues with network connectivity. How do I control how this is triggered and what device is it monitoring
Hyper-V Orphaned VM's after Dynamic Optimisation
Good afternoon I have successfully discovered our 4 node cluster and all VM's attached to these however i have come across an issue where the VM's will become orphaned if they move Host. We use Dynamic Optimization and the VM's will automatically move Hosts if the current host becomes overloaded.
