Hello I'm curently evalating OpUtils. I'm trying to setup HP ProCurve 1810G - 24 GE switches. Unfortunately it does not work as expected. When added as switches, the status become "failed" without any message. When added as router, no system is detected. Can you help me?

AKCP SensorProbe Template
Has anyone had any luck with the AKCP Sensor Probes? I have it setup and created custom monitors for it, but I had to create 8 seperate monitors, I was wondering if there was a way to have a single monitor that would pull all temp date. I try to use regular expression in log monitor, keep appending text that hit that patten in the log file and update status, however 1. The first alert can be triggered after several "keep appending text that hit that patten in the log file and update status" 2. Is there a way to get an overview of a performance monitor on multiple node with threshol status/color?
Hi We recently added a performance monitor on our ProLiant G5/G6/G7/G8 servers to monitor the intake air temperature. The monitor works fine but I wish we could have some sort of widget that give the status of the monitor for each server ( we have more than 60 servers). For now i'm using the ''Top N monitored values of a performance monitor'' widget but there is no way of knowing if the temperature for each server is in his threshold. thanks

What steps should I follow to move my OpManager installation to a new fresh server. I am using MS SQL on another server as the database, and this should be kept active on the new installation. My plan is to install the exact same build (9410) on the new server, but what should I choose when the installation process asks the backend database I want to use. Subnet discovery - Sonicwall - Brain wave needed
Hi, I am doing some testing on this product for a client of mine. The main feature the client needs is the Rogue devices detection. I appreciate if anyone could assist me with the following questions: 1, The subnet of Rouge device detection could not be set as a manually subnet and it should be detected via a router. Is that correct or there is a other way round it. (I tried to add a subnet manually and it finds new devices but does not show the devices and even the subnets in the Rogue section)

After one of our customers have added some devices (network and server), at the reports tab, he tries to do a report, but, some of the devices that are detected with hostname, in the report shows the hostname instead of the IP. OpManager has the option for add the IP in the report with the hostname? Regards.

Hi, I am getting delayed webalerts in Opmanager. we are monitoring some processess running in linux servers.when some processess goes down getting alerts after 5 to 10 mins. If I stop and start the opmanager service then it works fine. what could be the reason? Sam.
Access Denied when running .bat file w/vbs script in it
Hello, I'm trying to run a .bat file that has a vbs script in it but I keep getting access denied. I can browse to that network folder (with the current user logged in to my test machine) and can run the .bat file just fine with no errors. Screenshot below. The .vbs script is a script to remove Office 2010. I'm running this from the Custom Script command in desktopcentral.
RFC 1212-object error
I am trying to load a MIB that Linksys sent me so that I can setup my WAP54G v3 access point with some interface monitors, etc. I have the Linksys MIB in my MIB's folder, as well as 1155, 1213, and 1215 but get an error about RFC1212 missing. I looked at line 11 column 39 and see this in that location: IMPORTS enterprises, IpAddress, FROM RFC1155-SMI DisplayString, PhysAddress FROM RFC1213-MIB OBJECT-TYPE FROM RFC-1212 TRAP-TYPE FROM RFC-1215; I have attached the error screenshot as well as the Linksys

Servers randomly losing CPU and Memory monitoring stats
Hi, Just checking if anyone has come across this issue. We have recently signed up to OpManager and spent some time getting all our servers added and monitored. Yesterday i noticed that about 20 of our monitored servers no longer showed stats for CPU and Memory monitors (see attachment). I can confirm the monitors themselves for both still definitely exist under performance monitors and that the credentials used (WMI protocol) is passing the test. Notification Profiles - Edit Profile Name?
Hi guys Anybody know of a way that you can edit your profile name within the notification profiles? Currently if you go - Admin - Notification profiles You see a full list of notification profile you have created, however when you click edit next to the Notification profile you're currently unable to edit the name (I presume this is because the profiles are associated to the devices) Is there anyway that the profile name can be edited? pictures dashboard stop appearing..
After updating to version 10100, after a while the images of the dashboards are no longer displayed (no charge). I found that by deleting the files in the TEMP folder, or restart the service, the images appear again normally. Someone is going through this? Thanks.. Evandro Brazil.
None responsive devices
Hi all I'm having trouble getting a response from some of our devices. The majority of the devices are Allied Telesyn 8000s switches. I am able to add them and have the interfaces listed but no data. We are also having trouble with our core switch, we aren't able to monitor memory and CPU utilization but the we are getting usage data from ports. Could this be due to the core being a stack of 3 3com switches? All of these devices work with PRTG network monitoring software. I'm a compete manage engine
VMware Monitoring in OpManager has lot of bug's
Hi All, We have found that VMware monitoring through OpManager is not feasible as we have encountered so many issue since we started monitoring our VMware environment in it. For example we were not able to delete few devices detected by the OpMangaer through ESX server and to add it to latest we have an issue when we move a VM Guest OS from one ESX to another and reboot the ESX the ESX device is only not detected and the ESX server gives an error Could not collect data, HTTPS connection may be slow

I am using MSP Center Plus version 7205. I know it is not officially supported anymore, but maybe someone can help me. I am trying to install an SSL Certificate from Go Daddy. Snapshot Switch Map shows interfaces in wrong order

Hi, we like to install OPManager (build 10100) + ApplicationsManager 11 on one server. At the moment both programs are installed one one testserver and the performance is really bad. Testserver, installed 2 months ago, is a Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 with an IntelXeon 3.6 GHz processor and 5 GB RAM. Opmanager local monitoring broken since 10100
Hi, Since installing 10100 the snmp and wmi monitors I have set up for the server where the Opmanager service is installed no longer work. Testing the monitors fails. I have had a look through the Opmanager log directory and cannot see anything relating to it.. The vmware stats still work fine and testing the snmp credentials passes with no issues. Perhaps it is more an issue with writing polled stats to the database for this specific device.. Any ideas? Thanks
