Troubleshoot SSH key based authentication failures

Follow the suggestions given below to troubleshoot SSH key based authentication failures
  1. Check server availability.

  2. Verify if you have specified the correct command prompt variable of the Server.
    Click here to know how to check the command prompt variable of your server. 
  3. Verify if the SSH key you have provided in Applications Manager is the same as that of your target server's.
    To find the SSH key, login to your target server, open command prompt with administrator's permission, and execute the following command:
    cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa
      Sample Output/Key:

    1. If all of the above conditions are satisfied, then run the SSH troubleshoot script from the server in which you've installed Applications Manager. If you receive a Key exchange failed error, check this link to troubleshoot the same.
    2.  If there is an issue with the key, generate a new SSH key.
    3. If you're still unable to resolve the problem, contact AppManager support team along with the following:
      - Support Information File (SIF)
      - Output of the SSH troubleshoot script that you executed in step 4.
