Objective
This article offers detailed information on how to use a Device Group in EventLog Analyzer to update credentials for Windows log sources.
Prerequisites
You'll need administrator access to EventLog Analyzer.
Steps to follow
Step 1: Log in to EventLog Analyzer.
Step 2: Navigate to Settings > Admin Settings > Device Groups.
Step 3: Check the boxes for the Device Groups for which you would like to update the monitoring interval.
Step 4: Click the Manage drop-down, and select Credentials.
Note: Updating this property for the selected group(s) will update all applicable device(s).
Step 5: Enter the new credentials in the pop-up and choose Update. This will update the device credentials for the Windows OS log sources added in the group.
Tips
A Device Group can be created as needed based on how you are going to manage the devices with the technicians. For example, based on sites, departments, etc.
Credentials can be updated in the Device Management page in bulk. You will be able to sort the devices based on device status, state, device group, and type in the Device Management page.
