How to get notified about license expiration in EventLog Analyzer

How to get notified about license expiration in EventLog Analyzer

Objective

EventLog Analyzer provides automatic notifications about upcoming license expiration. Email notifications are configurable and sent to designated recipients. These notifications begin 16 days before the license expiration date and continue daily until the expiration.
For example, if the license expires on Jan. 31st, 2025, the email notification will start on Jan. 16th, 2025 and continue daily until the expiration. This helps administrators stay informed about license validity and take timely action to avoid service disruptions.

Prerequisite

  1. Email server settings must be configured under:
Settings > System Settings > Notification Settings > Mail Settings

Steps to follow

Step 1: Navigate to: Settings > Admin Settings > Product Settings > Product Notification.
Step 2: Enable the License expiry option.
Step 3: Under the Send Notification option, choose to send the email to All Admins or Specific Email IDs.
Step 4: If selecting specific recipients, enter the appropriate email addresses.
Step 5: Click Save to apply the changes.

Tips

Both email and in-product notifications begin 16 days before the license expiration date. In-product notifications are triggered automatically and do not require configuration.
  • Use specific recipient addresses when multiple teams are involved in procurement or license management.
