How to Configure Google Authenticator as 2FA in EventLog Analyzer
Objective
To guide users through the process of enabling and configuring Google Authenticator for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in EventLog Analyzer, enhancing account security.
Prerequisite
Steps to follow
In EventLog Analyzer navigate to Settings → Admin Settings → Logon Settings.
In the Two-Factor Authentication section, enable the toggle to enforce 2FA for user logins.
Select Google Authenticator as the 2FA method and enable it.
Once Google Authenticator is configured, a page with a QR code will be displayed during the next login to register the user.
Enter the 6-digit code generated in Google Authenticator to log in to EventLog Analyzer.
Optionally, enable “Trust this browser” so EventLog Analyzer won’t prompt for verification codes on this browser for the next 180 days.
Click Enrolled Users at the bottom of the Tw-Factor Authentication page to view a list of users enrolled in 2FA.
Tips
Ensure your mobile device’s time is synchronized for accurate code generation.
Keep backup codes securely in case your device is lost or reset.
Repeat the steps for each user account individually if multiple users need 2FA.
