OPManager Monitor OID Calculations
Hi, I want to create a SNMP monitor based on different OID values, ex: ((.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.11+.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.14+.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.15)/.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.5)*100 When I "query device" it shows the result of calculation, but then, when I click

Monitoring Memory of NCS 5500
Hi, I'm trying to monitor the memory of my NCS-5501-SE with the default performance monitors but when I add it it doesn't show me any information. I was investigating and came to the conclusion that I need to upload the CISCO-ENHANCED-MEMPOOL-MIB mib,
[Tips & Tricks] How to find OID's for new devices ?
What is an OID? Object Identifier (OID) is the unique id provided by the manufacturer to identify the device/system information. Each device's information would have a unique OID. Here we are going to discuss the 2 easy ways to find OID information, 1. Get a MIB file from the Manufacturer 2. SNMP walk using a MIB browser 2.1. Using Inbuilt MIB browser in SDP 2.2. Using External MIB browser Get a
OID monitoring for counter type in SNMP monitor
We have to monitor the temperature and velocity fan in a EMC storage. For that we have the "EMC_SW.mib" MIB. In this MIB there are the following: with the following OIDs: If we monitor all the "swSensorEntry" table, we have the following in the Applications Manager (v.11900): That's correcto, BUT if we would like to do an alarm for the temperature and another for the fan, we couldn't. We only could create alarms for all the "swSensorValue" column, but not for only a value. The solution (and the PROBLEM)
Editing Device Template / Monitor OID?
I'm trying to edit an OID to create a custom monitor (or enter it manually, I don't mind!), once selected through the MIB browser it's not editable when creating the monitor - so it uses the table ID, and I can't select the instance. Useless for my purpose where different instances need to be monitored and have different values! Has anyone found a way to select an instance (i.e. edit the OID to add ".1" or ".2") for the individual interface's parameter to be read? Thanks, David H.

Juniper SRX and custom queries
Hello, I am trying to get some specific information from an SRX3400 for the purposes of graphing. Primarily I want to graph the amount of flows. What I would like to graph is valid session, invalid session and sessions in use. I have OIDs for some of these. Juniper has a KB article and PDF. http://kb.juniper.net/library/CUSTOMERSERVICE/GLOBAL_JTAC/BK26199/SRX%20SNMP%20Monitoring%20Guide.pdf Where in the software do I shove in a specific OID for the purposes of graphing? Thank you all for your help.
SnmpConfigurations.xml and how to configure it
We have a large number of Dell Wyse P25 Zero Clients that we are trying to scan with SDP. We know the OID's we want to capture from the device. From information I found in another thread here I added the following entry in <ServiceDesk Root>\server\default\conf\SnmpConfigurations.xml: <SnmpConfiguration devicetype="Zero Client" vendor="Teradici" attribute="Serial Number" oid=".1.3.6.1.4.1.25071.1.2.6.1.1.7.1" /> Restarted the ServiceDesk service and rescanned the device. Instead of populating
