ADManager Build 6659 - O365 Create User - Failed 'mailNickname'
We upgraded to 6659 yesterday, ever since then we have not been able to create O365 users (we are DirSync enabled). On-Prem AD ID gets created fine but when it tries to create the O365 portion, we get the following error EVERY time: Successfully created the user. , but following errors occurred. Error in creating Office 365 user. Error occurred while executing NewUser Code: Request_BadRequest Message: Invalid value specified for property 'mailNickname' of resource 'User'. SDP 10013 - Adding approval Stage without editing notification mail
Hi, after upgrade from 9.4 to 10.0.13 (on postgres) there are diffierent behaviors in requests "Approvals" section: - Add Approver in Stage One > you can add technicians/requesters AND customize the notification mail (its' CORRECT) - Add Stage > you only can add approver WITHOUT customizing the notification email (it's an ISSUE) Thanks for your help alessandro

Move\export request details on closure
I have two requests that might be interwoven. 1. When a request is closed are there any scripts or triggers that will allow me to export certain fields and the attachment to a folder location as a CSV? 2. When a request is closed are there any scripts or trigger that will allow me to move certain fields and attachments to the contract module as a new contract? My compliance team is using SDP now for new contract review requests. When they complete the request we are trying automate two things.
Data Discovery Rules
I wanted to see if there is a database that is updated which may include more pre-built rules than the 50 or so that come with the Data Discovery tool out of the box. I'm mainly concerned about HIPAA related strings and dictionary items. Superseded Updates still showing as Missing Updates
I have 65 updates that have been Superseded, going all the way back to August of 2018, that are showing up as Missing Updates. Of these 65, one of them was declined back in September of last year, but is still on the missing lists. The check boxes to select these updates is grayed out and when you mouse over it, it tells you it was Superseded. Alerting on Server Start up Failure
Does anyone know where the alerts for "Desktop Central Server Start up Failure" come from or are set? At the moment we have one old employee getting the alert and one who isn't an admin getting it. I checked in Admin - Server settings and the notifications settings point to an admin directly. So i am guessing there is another alerting feature that isn't dynamic since it's going to an old employee long gone. Header info doesnt have much to go one but are there other suggestions? Time elapsed equal to 00:00:00
I've analysed the reports of last month in more details and I saw that for some tickets the 'time elapsed' is '00:00:00' with the 'request status' on 'closed'. The 'time created' is 'May 4, 2018 08:35 AM' and the 'close time' is 'May 4, 2018 10:32 AM' . Any one an explanation or a direction where I should go to analyse this. Desktop Central DS Install locking AD accounts
Every since we upgraded to 10.0.347. when ever we try to install a new DS at a site, Desktop Central locks the AD account without installing the server. The error then reads in Desktop Central "The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to." We can unlock it, repeat and same issue. Hi, I recently downloaded the trial of desktop central and everything has been working wonderful. Is there a way to access the administrator portal when i'm off the LAN? Right now, the only way I can access the portal is by logging into the localhost:8020. Coming over from Quest KACE - Assigning Devices from AD import
Hi, we are looking at ManageEngine to replace our Quest KACE Appliance primariyl for asset management but im already running into an issue. In KACE, we can manually assign devices to users, and that list is populated from our AD User import. In Desktop Central, I can only see how to assign a device to a user by manually typing into the "Owner" field. Is it possible to manually assign users from a dropdown with info fed from AD imports?

Hi All, I have another question, how can i set technician on leave to not received any request? Because i tried and apply comp leave to a technician on today's date, and create a request specific to the technicians group. Hi, We have a report configured (please see atachment) that shows closed requests count, backlog requests count, requestid count and SLA violated requests. Every column on Y-axis shows the actual value as it was for each month but for the column "backlog requests count" we would like the graph to show the total requests that are backlogged, not just for the particular month. Is there some where in SDP we could trace the approval made to a requester? when we query requests by requester, its Request details does not show the entire workflow for a particular ID, just the initial request, but a approval log for respective requested would be useful for future reference.

We are in the process of cutting over to Office 365 and I am a test user. We are planning to rename our login names (UPN and pre2000) on A\D to make details more uniformed. . As part of the testing I changed my A\D login name (UPN and pre2000). To cut a long story short I had to recreate myself in SDP as a technician logging in via the domain. This has resulted in my name showing up 3 times under technicians. In future plan to merge the remaining technicians. Initial Install
I'm just trying to install this - firewall monitoring piece. On a windows server. I run the install, and the very first question "ADMIN" or "COLLECTOR" is not listed on ANY of the documentation I can find. Which do I install? I installed the admin, but it says there's no collector... It won't let me re-run the install a collector on the same computer. When I un-install and try to install the collector, it wants an IP of the Amin.... there isn't one yet... How do Install?
