Just wanted to say thanks to all the guys that work on the team for OpManager. It's nice to find a developement team that take the constructive critisisms and comments and request for improvements from their users and actually listen and take note and them implement changes to effect them. Your responses to the forums is fantastic, the speed and the effort that you put in is very appreciated! This product just keeps getting better and better.
disk space used/avaialabe
I'd like a report that shows how much disk space is used and available by server in bytes (KB/MBor GB). Is there any way for OpManager to support this?

Hi there 1.- I install netflow analizer 4.0 trial, we have configurated around 25 interfaces. today may 9th, i can not access to web aplication and check the file mysql, and notice that the counters stop aroun 5 am, so i stop the process and then star the application so I can access again to weg page. Hi, during execution of NFA as service I have in system log this error : There were 5 failed launches in a row, each lasting less than 300 seconds. Giving up. and the service fail, it restart only manually. Thanks

Hi, As I imported the requesters list from my adctive directory, there were several group accounts and redundant accounts that got created in Service Desk. When going through the list to remove unwanted requesters, I noticed that everytime I deleted an account, Service Desk returns me back to the first page of the requesters list. How frustrating when I am already on the "P" list, and after deleting a requester, I am sent back to the beggining of the page. Even if I select the page to show 50 or

Hello, I have some questions, I will greatly appreciate if you can provide me some answers : 1) It is said in the documentation that if you select a user who has a single assigned computer, the dedicated field should be automaticaly populated in the request form. Bulk Cancellation of Monitors not working -- it used to?
I can no longer remove a monitor from a group of Routers. I just noticed this, and this is a week after applying the April 29 hotfix. Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me with OpManager 5.5 web client. Here are my problems: 1. I cannot email alerts, even though the Resource Monitor shows 2 violations of the threshold. When setting up the Mail Server, the test email works. Am I missing a step somewhere? 2. When I first setup the threshold for one of my Resource Monitors, an alert showed up (almost immediately). Is this setup okay for NetFlow
We are evaluating NetFlow analyzer, we have setup everything in our router (Cisco 1721) and we are pointing to an IP of a machine inside our DMZ. So the IP is a mapped IP (public<->private). Is the above setup okay for analyzing. I understand that because we are NAT'd that I will only see the traffic for the egress interface. Startup Failure with MySQL
Dear sirs, i try to start the application via startApplicationsManager.sh but it fails with the following log file entry: Mysql daemon is not running on your Linux machine.Please start the daemon and retry What am I doing wrong ? I just did the graphical installation and tried to start the application. I read various posts about changing port and host of MySQL to an already installed MySQL server, but nothing worked. everytime I start the ApplicationsManager.sh my changes in the database_params.conf

Contact number in Request and Display resolution.
The new feature to import requesters is great and worked like a charm. But, when you add a requester to a new request the contact number does not show with in the contact info text box. But, when you save the request the contact info number is present. Is there any way to have the number shown before you save the request. Also, we still have a lot of workstations with the resolution of 800 x 600. You have to scroll back and forth after each save or tab change, is there anyway to have the webpage
Opmanager Switch Port Malfunctions
Attached is a Screenshot of a Switch I am managing. Note, all the interfaces show up in the main system view.. But they have no traffic data. The Configure Ports Pop-up lists no ports what-so-ever. I have tried to totally deleting this object and re-discover it and still comes back with the same port data. What is the cause and solution to this issue if any exist?

notification email with URL
Hi all, Is it possible to have the notification emails that are sent out include the url to the Request? ie. in the email have a url simliar to the following http://brishelpd01:8080/WorkOrder.do?woMode=viewWO&woID=5 to allow the technician to go straight there? This would be useful in saving time for the tech's to get to the job, otherwise you have to log into the system, then find the job based on the details in the email. Ideas?

Hi, I am testing this software and using free edition 4.1. One user with Requester ID logged in and click on update details Can get to Setup Wizard Screen. Then this requester is able to view all the data in the system. -Sri
servicedesk on windows vs linux
I have noticed some discrepancies with your other products maybe working better on windows vs linux. Is there perhaps a guideline or best practice on what OS to run opmanager and servicedesk? I noticed for example, for the windows scan to take place in service desk, it needs wmi - how does one scan from a linux servicedesk system for windows domain then?
domain discovery question
Is it possible to add machines from the domain, without having to do a full discovery? Reason I ask is that we manage about 1/3 of our global domain and I only want to have those machines in the inventory that I manage. Also it would be helpful if we could just list all the machines then just tick the one's we want to add.

High CPU utilisation
Has anyone experienced high CPU utilization with Opsmanager 5.5 running as a service. I have installed the evaluation version on a Compaq DL380 G3 with Win2K SP4 1.4Gb memory and the process Javaservice.exe is consuming 60-80% of CPU when application is running. I thought it may have been the discovery process that was causing the issue but opsmanger has been up and running now for over a week and still high CPU utilization. :cry:
