Scheduled custom reports
I want to add and schedule custom reports, specifically on the status of requests. But the custom report functionality does not allow me to select Status as a relection criteria.

setting up a wifi network
Hi, I would like to set up a wireless network at home. I have an ADSL router that is connected to my main desktop pc via a network cable. From that, i want to connect my laptop to my desktop and use that to get onto the internet from my laptop. I've tried setting up a wifi network using the network wizard on XP but can't get it to work. Anyone help?

Preventitive maintenance/reoccurring tasks
Curious, is there a way to do reoccurring (weekly, monthly,bi-yearly, yearly) tasks/requests? This would be extremely handy for some of the preventative maintenance that needs to occur in every environment without having to rely on users creating the tasks manually each time.

Hello How can I setup a business rule that will catch keywords in the description or title field? For example: I have a business rule that has Criteria as follows: Category is "Virus Attack" or "Ddos Attack" or "Email Based" or "Work Based" or Title contains fsecure or Description contains fsecure What I want the rule to do is pick out words that will be random throughout the text in the Title or Description, when jobs are logged via email, as everyone knows users do not always write their problems
Problem adding technician (free version)
Adding a technician to the free version after installation provided me with an error. FAILURE :Your license does not allow login access to more than 1 support reps I do not have any users that can login other than administrator. I am stumped! Thanks.
Cisco 750x subinterface
I have installed NFA today and it looks like a great product. Congratulations on that. I have but one problem. One of the interfaces has subinterfaces. NFA shows one of the two subinterfaces, but not the other. It doesn't show the physical interface either. Opmanager Admin Client
Firstly when i attempted to follow the business view how to demo, i saw in the demo the admin client. This had, down the side of it, business views, alarms, networks, etc etc. When i attempted to open admin client in my installation of opmanager, i found only opmanager map maker. This only had the business views section to it. I would like to know where is the true admin client? And how can i get it on my system. Instead of making the same downtime schedule over and over for each 'infrastructure category' if I do 'select devices' then 'select all' will it also do any new devices that I add? What you need is a 'silence all' button.
Netflow reports - time lag
Hi all, what is the reason for a time lag we are seeing in any reports generated? The end time is current (as per the PC clock) but the data itself ends 20-30min behind real-time. I have reinstalled the app but no change. thanks, Marty.

Adding MIB's
Hello, I have downloaded some MIB's for Imail and Sony and want to add them to opmanager. I have putted the files in the mibs folder and when i click on load MIB, they are visible in the list, but when I select them and click here on load (see printscreen) , the file isn't loaded. Does it maybe have to do with the evaluation edition or something else maybe? Thanx in advance

Active Hosts/Others
Hi I have just set up your eval version to monitor 5 hosts. 2 of the hosts do not appear under the Active Hosts tab in the Dashboard screen, they reside under the Others tab. No event log data is collected from these 2 W2K SP4 boxes. They both have dcom enabled and both can be logged into using the host login test on the Edit Host Details screen. Why would this happen? Inventory - All Assets
When I look at my inventory in I have 86 items that are classified as 'Other'. They should be 'Software'. When I click on the 'Other' slice of the pie chart nothing happens. When I manually bring up the listing of 'Software' everything is as it should be. How can I correct this so that the all assets view correctly reflects my assets? Thank you, Shervan Torabi

I try to add a new device (Linux) to monitor by Opmanager. The login and passwd had been configed. But while add a resource monitor , the screen will prompt Info 128 will RED icon. then display the login details page again. Do you know what's the problem of this ? Many thanks ~~~

Custom/Standard Fields In Emails
We have been using this product for 14 days. We are very pleased with this applications features and capabilities. Management is looking at purchasing this product, but there are some draw backs. The inability to add custom fields to the email templates is the main concern. There is data that must be in the outbound emails and the data must be in a specific order. We presently have one custom field in our Request form. This field, along with the City and State fields, need to be included in the emails.

Call log numbers I have come across the situation that users have had e-mails returned with call reference numbers included but when they have checked or call IT for progress the call that they have logged and have a number for is not on the system. My requirements for tracking assets is maybe more detailed. For example when i purchase a server, i purchase maybe 20 components and then assemble them into one unit. Can servicedesk handle something like this, where i can have the final asset an assembly of individual components?

I've got 2 Cisco 2610, same IOS, both not generating data. (I've also some 827 models which are generating NetFlow Data just OK, so I now everything should be working). Performance Issues with EvntLogAnalyzer
Hi, I'm running the product on a dual 2.8Ghz server with 1 GB of RAM. I have about 35 hosts configured and the product gets really slow when accessing the compliance reports, sometimes on the order of 10 minutes just to display the report. I'm just curious if this is a system configuration issue or if everyone else sees issues like this? Are there some minimum system recommendations for x number of hosts? Thanks, Mark
Bandwidth Mismatch
Hi, I have installed Netflow Analyser 4 on Linux. I have enabled the flow-export on my router. When I compare the bandwidth which is showing on the Analyser window and on the interface of serial, it is not matching. For ex. on the analyser on serial link it is showing 300K as traffic, but on my router it is showing 1.4Megs. Kindly someone help me in this regard why it is not matching ????? Regards, Girish.

How I upgrade from version 4.0.2 to version 5?
I tried to upgrade or migrate from version 4.0.2 to 5. But when I tried: 1.- The install of version 5 uninstall version 4.0.2 2.- After I install version 5 (I copy data directory) the licence file (for version 4.0.2) dont funtion.
