Hi, Can I suggest a few more simple features? 1) How about being able to add a comment to a request. I know you can add a note to a request, but a comment would be different by the fact that it can't be deleted or edited. Its a perminent addition to the request record. Can not display disk utilization for linux.
I have installed OpManager 6.0 on Windows. I have Linux PC and want to monitor resourse utilization of PC. Now, OpManager 6.0 is able to display CPU and Memory Utilization. But It still can not display Disk Utilization. Do you have any solution to solve this problem? Thanks for help.
Alert issues
I have added monitors for our Exchange servers with POP3 disabled in the Monitor and POP3 service is disabled on the server itself. But I am receiving the following: Resource down. The resource bemail.xxxxxx.org_Exchange-server_25 is not available. The following Exchange services are not running. 1. The MS Exchange POP3 is not running. If monitor has pop3 disabled and pop3 disabled on the server why would thee AppM report it resource is down? Is it a BuG or am I missing something?
Flow export set as v5 but Netflow reporting incorrect
A customer has configured Netflow on a Cisco 2620XM but Netflow is reporting flows are not v5 or v7. SDP performing physical audit of inventory
Hi, We are looking at service desk plus for deployment of SD+ in a school environment. We are really excited about many of the features of SD+ but have some questions about the Inventory management of the package. We want to make a comprehensive audit of all our IT and AV related equipment and enter the information onto an asset tracking DB. Global View Requests by Technician using incorrect values?
I've just noticed that according to the Global View Requests by Technician, one of my technicians is supposed to have 5 Overdue tasks, but when I click to view them, it only shows 3 of them. I am unable to locate the other 2. This only seems to be the case for that one technician Any ideas why?

Negative Threshold values
I am monitoring RSSI values on wireless radios. I would like to set a threshold value of -80 and a rearm value of -75 but it will not take negative values. Is there a way or is there a way around this? Or will this be covered in the future update? Thanks, Jeff
Asset Sorting Logic?
What in the world is the logic behind sorting the Asset list Descending by name as opposed to Ascending by name? This doesn't make sense to me. It should be sorted Ascending by name by default and there should be the option to sort by columns in this list and any other list in SD +. We are not able to sort several lists such as Assets, Solutions, Contracts, Purchase Orders, etc. Any list with SD + should have the ability to sort by any column. It's silly to have this in some lists and not all.
Duplicate Assets
Hi all, We have a problem where we are regularly getting duplication of assets from our weekly scans of the domain ... often we fine 8 or 9 copies of computers in the SD database ... obviously this causes lots of issues with asset and software reporting. We'd really like to buy Applications Manager 6, but unfortunately it fails monitoring what we need most: tomcat instances within JBOSS 4.0.3. When we create a tomcat monitor, it'll just say "Error while parsing xml data from Tomcat Server." at the top. Enhancement Request - Downtime Scheduler
What we are doing is daily jobs that are running over the night that take down our SQL and Oracle servers. Cause of monitoring these Ports and/or Windows Services we get each night alerts for that. We found Downtime Scheduler in this case not very usefull because we will not be alerted in case of other errors (lets say for example Event Log errors in this time). So a nice feature for us in this case would be to define the downtime scheduler to certain monitors only, in our case downtime scheduler
Can't add a DC machine into server category?
Hi, I accidentally rediscovered a domain controller machine that I had moved into the Server category (we don't have the AD add-on, and the trial has expired). The server was re-discovered as a DC, so I tried to change the category back to server but it won't work. What happens is that (eventually) the category changes, and you can see it in the list of servers for a few seconds only. If you keep refreshing the Servers view, it will eventually disappear all by itself and go back to the DC category.

Is SD Scalable?
We are a Nationalized bank with as much as 500 employees. We have planned to purchase this software for about 20-25 technicians. My evaluation with 20-25 users was satisfactory. I dont know if this would scale to 500 users. Before purchase, i want to know if there is anyone using this for such a large customer base. Hi all, In Database Maintenance that if finds inside of Admin, I have configured 365 days for "Delete events to older than". The problem is that for 2 times this option came back toward 30 days. OpManager Hangs at startup

How to view previous event logs from the Alarm window?

BIG problem!!
When im trying to manage topics and create new i realise a big problem. You can't ad more than one topic with the same name even if you use different category, for example we have: application 1, 2 and 3, and would like to ad them all as topics in the solutions bank, all these category need the sub topic manual. And the system fail because "Topic with same name already exists. Please provide different value for Topic Name." Fix?

Hi, Our email gateway requires a message classification tag to be inserted in the subject or body of the email to allow the message to be sent outside the organization. Extreme Networks
Hello, I am trying to add my mibs for extreme networks. I have a 8810 Black Diamond and some Summit 400 and Summit 200. They gave me 1 file for the 8810 and 1 for the Summit 400 and 200. When I add them in to the mib browser I get errors that it can't find files. Is there something I am missing or are there something wrong with the mibs? Thanks for any help.

Database back-up
We have had some issues with backing up our Netflow folder that have forced me to not back-up that folder. I would like to set-up the database back-up to create the back-up file in a different folder, but have not been able to alter the BackUpDB.bat file successfully. What changes can I make to the BackUpDB.bat file to save the back-up file in a different folder?
Splitting a request seems to cause a problem adding time to
I have not tested this extensively (I am using build 5007) but I have noticed that when I split a request in to 2, trying to go back and add time entries failed. When reloading the pages of the 2 split requests Internet Explorer displayed a "page done with errors" message at the bottom, and pointing to the add time entry button showed there was an error behind the backend java script.
Invalid Username/Password to application
On two separate occasions in the past 5 days, I have received invalid username/password errors when trying to log into EventLogAnalyzer. The only way to fix the issue to date has been to stop and restart the service. I found one similar post with this problem, but it was listed as being specific to Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2003 SP1. I am running EventLogAnalyzer on Windows 2000 SP4.
Product Comments Disappear
Within SC+, if I'm viewing account details and "Associate Product", any comments I put in the comment field do not save. I hit "Save", and then re-open it, and the comments section is blank again.
Asset entry to a Technician
Hi, I noticed that Asset entry options are different for a Technician and for an SDAdmin. The SDAdmin is got the rights to add a new product but a Technician who has been given full control over Inventory in the roles still cant do it.
