Scheduled downtime counts against availability?
The User Guide says that Scheduled Downtime prevents alerts from firing, but it does not say that unavailability during Scheduled Donwtime is ignored.
We have a weekly maintenance window where we expect to have periods of downtime as we restart application services for backups, take monthly MS patches, etc.
Can you add a check box to a Donwtime Schedule to say something like, "Ignore Any Periods of Unavailability While this Schedule is Running"?
You cannot get accurate availablilty numbers if you count donwtime that occurs during a Scheduled Downtime period.
