I configured a group with "Send notification to technician(s) when a request in this group is left unpicked" set to 5 minutes and turn on "Alert group members by Email, when a request is left unpicked in a group" under Notification rule. But still i am not receving any notification from the system once the request was not picked for more than 5 minutes. Hi, In the details for Application, Source, Destination and Conversation the details of traffic flow are shown, however, no time is given for each item. At the top of the page it is shown that the data is for the previous hour but does not show what the time is specifically. Is this something that can be viewed?

Unable to backup HP Procurve Switch 4000m and 8000m
Dear, I'm trying to backup configs for serveral network devices on my network. I've got some Switches from Cisco, HP and D-Link. Nearly all switches are able to be backuped, only the HP Procurve Switch 4000m and 8000m aren't. When I set the credentials for these two switches and update them, DeviceExpert starts to backup the configs, but never ends oder breaks up. Even an error-message is not displayed! It just continues backing up the 4000m and 8000m on and on... I think it has something to do with

extraction error on install

unable to change Device type

I also noticed that password are lost (fields are empty). Furthermore thus the discovered type look correct (router cisco 2600) i cannoth find in password the same field list as another Cisco Router.

Hi, I am getting "The RPC server is unavailable" error when trying to create Exchange Server monitor. As far as I can say, RPC server is running on the machine I'm trying to monitor, at least 'net start rpcss' command returns me 'the requested service has already been started'. Could you kindly advise me what I should do?
Citrix MIB
Hi, I am having problems loading the MFAgent-Mib file in the mib browser. I get the following error Error loading MIB: /servlets/../mibs/mfagent-mib com.advent.snmp.mibs.MibException: Could not parse the file /servlets/../mibs/mfagent-mib The 'INDEX' or 'AUGMENTS' keyword was missing in the table row object type construct which contains the sequence as OSListEntry I have tried another mib with the same problem. I have attached the mib please let me know if get the same error. Any ideas would be appreciated.
SD+ External Access
SD+ is currently configured for port 80. It works perfectly fine on our internal network. We would like users to be able to enter requests and to access SD+ from home or externally from our network. I am aware there is currently no IIS support, and every forum post i've read so far says I should be able to access SD+ externally. We've opened port 80 on our firewall and have an external static IP pointing to our internal static IP of our internal server. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help.

SNMP Disk monitoring Graphs
Hi, I use the same SNMP disk monitoring for monitoring disk in Windows 2003 Server, but some servers use different graph to display stats. With the image - 2, I see only one graph with all disks and at the bottom, I see a historic of all poll. Some server use the graph displayed in the image - 1. Company and related Product info not displayed - movie
Hi Support, When I log a call with Quick Create it doesn't pick up the company name or the available products to choose from until I confirm the username. This is complicated to explain so I have attached a short movie as to the problem, this is incredibly frustrating! I think that this has been resolved, or certainly mentioned before, maybe the changed to the product list showing product types in this release 5033 have unearthed this gremlin again. Thanks Rich

Web on another port than 80
I know you can change the web port for all devices-but is there a way to change it for individual devices? Say I run http on port 8080 (without of course creating a new custom service) or does everyone just create a Web8080 Custom Service? My goal here is not to have a ton of collums of 'web'
add custom fields to requesters
We ask our users to provide answers 3 sectary questions so we need the ability to attach the answers to there account. At the moment we are putting them in the notes window at the moment. Am I right in thinking that user can not see what is added to the requester notes by technicians? Can I ask for the ability to add custom fields to requesters account info to be added to the next update?
IP Groups
You have now changed the display of IP Groups so that they come out in alphabetical order and this is great. However, I added an IP group which contained an array of IP address ranges. I added them in IP address order. Now when I display the IP group, the constituent IP address ranges come out in a different order. Can you change Netflow Analyzer so it lists the IP Address ranges in ascending order? Can it be made to do this no matter what order I originally added them in? Also, because I have to
OpManager 6 How to discover attached networks
How can we discover attached networks to a router? I want to discover the WAN IP, LAN IP and attached LAN network IPs. Is there a way to specify multiple hops in the discovery process? If a customer has the same LAN numbering scheme, is that an issue? I do not want to add the discovery for the LAN block separately. I am looking for OpManager to offer a sub-network view for all WAN networks that shows all devices on the LAN.

Hi All of my Exchange Monitors work except the Used Size of the Public and Private stores. When configuring the path for these stores I used E:\exch_store\MDBDATA\priv1.edb and E:\exch_store\MDBDATA\pub1.edb Is this the correct syntax to enter?

Changing Monitoring Interval
I am trying to change monitoring interval as well as disable monitoring of devices ie Printers, Desktops. But when I go to Admin > Monitoring Intervals and unselect endable desktops -> select save it will revert back to the current settings. Is there any other way to disable monitoring and discovery of certain devices types

Can't delete department
Hi there, I'm trying to delete a Department which I added earlier. Im sure there are no users linked to this department, though i can't delete it. I get the following message: FAILURE :Department is being used by a module. Hence cannot delete it. I restarted the ServiceDesk a few times, and checked al users.. What can I do from here? I have been testing Service Desk for the past few days but I still get the Dcom error, I enabled the D com and I added ports 7, 135,445,1085. The thing is that I test it in VMWARE and I am able to ping the machine I am testing and I can VNC but I can not scan it. Here is the other catch the machine is not on a domain but when I select the network option or domain work group I still get the access denied error or DCOM. I do not think it is the DCOM the question is do I need to be a domain admin and
Categories
We are trying very hard to implement ITIL and SAS70 by making use of SD+. One area where I cannot seem to get a work around on is Change Control. I separate requests using the categories into 3: Incidents, Requests for Change and Requests for Service. (A generic example can be found at the bottom of this post) The trouble is that only certain users should have permission to make Requests for Change but I cannot stop them from choosing categories. Could there be a way to hide categories by permission
Integration with other web sites
Is it possible to integrate SD+ with other sites as for example add content to the requestor login? We have a support document service from another supplier. I would like to add a link to that service from the page a requestor log in to. As a menu link to: "Read our support documents" or something like that. Is it possible? Otherwise, suggestion for improvement.

Monitoring single rows of SNMP Table data
I am monitoring a table of data using SNMP, and everything is working fine, except that when checking my thresholds, it seems that App Manager is picking a row out of the table randomly and checking that row each time the monitor updates.
