can't monitor Memory Utilization and Disk Utilization
Hi, OP support team, I have a problem with the Memory and disk untilization monitor. I tried monitor one windows 2003 server with OP. and now, I can monitor almost service, like as :"CPU Utilization;Print Spooler Spooler Net Logon Netlogon Event Log Eventlog DNS Server DNS DHCP Server DHCPServer RPC" etc. but I can't monitor the Memory Utilization and Disk Utilization. The Monitor did not respond to the test request Summary Device Name: XXXX Monitor Name MemoryUtilization Protocol SNMP OID .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.5.1.1.2
AD - Scheduled polling
It would be nice to have SD+ automatically poll AD for user accounts at an interval that can be set by the administrator. Also, it will be important to only update the user in SD+ with new information from AD, and not overwrite SD+ settings for that user.
Forwarded emails are not saved to request
I experienced problems with sending emails. Esspecially forwarding the request. Sometimes they are sended but not added to the conversation list.
Contact shuts down ftp communication
I have installed OpUtils demo and I set up my subnets to scan. That night, one of our critical ftp servers stopped accepting connections. After looking into the problem, it was found that the OpUtils server was continually trying to contact this machine. Once the OpUtils machine was shut down, the ftp server was accessible again. What would cause this to happen? Is there a way to start OpUtils back up so that it does not incapacitate my ftp server? Thanks for any help. The software is great so far,

Hello, Running Opmanager V6 6012. I am looking for a management report that can be scheduled to run daily that would list all of the alarm events for the last x hours. It seems like a simple thing to do, but I do not find this type of canned report nor do I see how to set it up in a custom report. Is this possible? Thanks,

when I'm trying to customize templates for any notification and open the insert web link button I got the same URL (http:// ) I tried to put my local host along with the port # but it didn't save it. I'm using this link for the $RequestLink to allow the requester/technician to open the request link. unfortunately it is not working properly and sometimes the requester/technician can open the link and sometimes they couldn't I'm still in the test stage. can anybody help. Custom report for After Hours
Hi We currently have RSA security which generates an IAS event when someone logs in through the system. For audit purposes we need to provide a report to show all logon events through this system after hours. I can successfully create a custom report and selecting the particular eventID to show this information but is there a way to customize for only showing events after hours? cheers Dave

Unable to Maintain Remote Web Client Session
I can log into the OpManager Web Client locally and experience no browsing problems. However when I log in remotely, Web Client displays the Overview page as expected and as soon as I click any links, I am bumped back to the login page. I have tried this from different remote machines and experience the same problem. Any ideas?

Is it possible to resolve IP numbers back to web address is reports? Knowing that the most visited site is www.xxx.com instead of 25.56.85.45 is more useful... Is is also possible to monitor more that one firewall in a product? I have a second FW sending logs to the software but is just seems to trigger the "unsupported log data received" message? DOes each FW have to be on a different syslog server? I don't see a actual "Add Firewall" configuration.

Hi Our Company is considering to purchase help desk ver 6.0 I go throw the demo and interested in "Request Template" feature. Can we attach files for template ? We have several Request Form using Microsoft Word and it's registered as ISO Documents. It will be nice if we can attach the word template and just says, "Please fill in the attachment for Enrollment" for example.
MIB parsing
Hi all, I added new MIBS in OpManager. I constated that I need to load them at least once because in the other case I do not have MIB parsing when I check trap alarms. At first, I copied the MIBS files directly in mib dir but problem is same when I use the "Upload" button in "MIB Browser" tools. Thank you, Vincent.

Error messege when trying to Configure Mail Server
Hi, When I try to configure the mail server ( Admin > Configure Mail Server ), I receive the following error: There is some problem in changing you Mail Server configuration. Please Try again. Error adding a new Windows service when password has a space
When i use the link "Add new service" from the "Windows service monitors" i get a screen that asks me for a device and login credentials. i enter the login credentials, and the admin password just happens to have a space embedded .... this results in a "wrong # of parameters" error If i use another account with a password with only letters it all works find
about monitoring interfaces of PIX 515
I added the PIX 515 to the OP monitor and then want to monitor the interfaces statistics of it. However, after I added the monitor for interfaces, I click the link of the statistcs but it has no respond. I can monitor interfaces for other cisco devices such as 3560, 2950. Do anyone experience this problem too?
Integration with ServiceCenter
Can you confirm is the MSP version can integrate with ServiceCenter? I've seen comments that it can with ServiceDesk but as MSP is aimed to deal with multiple clients I'd have thought integration with ServiceCenter was essential. Thanx

Support for Juniper/Netscreen SSL VPN
I have loaded the trial software and have gotten it to report some items when in WELF but when I change it to Standard, FWA tells me there are no firewalls currently exporting logs. There are also some features of the SSL VPN that would be nice to report on such as: Host Checker successes and failures Network Connect durations Overall, I am not sure if I trust the duration intervals I have seen based on the WELF reports. I would be happy to upload logs if that will help. Thanks, Mike
Strange SNMP request behavior on OpManager
Hi all, Sometimes I do not have SNMP answer when I test system monitors such "CPU Usage", "Memory Usage". And WMI monitors does not work in most of time. On my computer I created a special account with Administrator right. When I add "Free disk space .. WMI" with no username/password defined, OpManager ask me for Windows authentication, I define username/password and OpManager valid them but when I test WMI monitor, it fails with the message : The Monitor did not respond to the test request Possible
What firewall is better to install?
What will be a better one firewall I can download and use for free, that will come with my windows xp and won't slow it down? :(
