PassTrix won't send emails
I'm a newbie. Downloaded and installed the latest trial of PassTrix on Win 2003 Server. The system is unable to send emails. We don't have a local mail server, though I figured the system could use an account to send emails just like any other application. My understanding is that when you create new users, they are sent a password via email. That isn't happening for us. Any help would be much appreciated. :?:
CustomGraph for multi-index table
Is there a way to build a customGraph that uses an OID from a table with two indices? My specific problem is with a table that has an index like {thingID, intervalNumber} I want intervalNumber to always be 1 (the previous interval). "thingID" is the index that I want users to pick, to decide to monitor "thing #2".
Front page usernames & passwords and external connection

I'm currently reviewing the trial version but I have a couple of questions. The free version allows for 1 admin and 25 accounts. I currently have only a few clients so are they classified as accounts (each client has more than 1 contact though...are there limits to contacts)? Is the admin account on the free version amendable? Custominsing the Open Requests page
Hi gang. I would like to see the Request ID # when I look at the Open Requests page. I know you can filter to see which requests are open / closed etc. But to me the title is of little significance, i would rather see the request id. Is this possible? Cheers.

Eveentlog with Juniper Firewall
Hi everybody, i'm evaluating Eventlog Analyzer 4, with windows based server no problem it work fine, i'm trying to get syslog from my Juniper's firewall. I've configured my Juniper to send syslog to the ip adress of the eventlog Analyzer server but he don't send log. SD+6 - custom views
I'm currently testing SD+6 and awaiting the full release (the end of this month?) and am a bit lost on the feature of custom views. I've created a new custom view to show certain requests. But how do i set the login to actually use this view? Maybe i'm just being a bit slow, but i cant see an option to use this view?
OpManager Annoyances
It would be so helpful if the following two things were addressed with OpManager 1. Make it possible to add/remove multiple monitors to/from multiple servers. In other words, replace the radio buttons with checkboxes. 2. Show the graph even when a SNMP poll is missed. It is frustrating to see "Data not available" because the server couldn't be polled for whatever reason. I should be able to see historical values.
Asset Explorer in SD+
Will Asset Explorer be client/server based or is it the usual open up multiple services and ports on a PC for it to scan and have it not work most of the time? I would prefer a client that would talk back to the server instead of opening vulnerable services and ports. Any update?
Technician Scheduling?
Any plans to include scheduling of technicians into SC? Often times, a request requires a site visit and it'd be nice to have a view of each technician's schedule within SC, rather than resorting to using Outlook or something else. Just curious...
No VPN data in VPN Reports
We are using checkpoing ngx R61 and everything seems to be working iwth teh newest FA build. However, I don not see any information regarding the top vpn users or anything related to vpn traffic. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Okay, here is my problem. I have Service Desk Plus installed on my server and I would like to create a web address (i.e. helpdesk.sierracouriers.net) to point to the logon screen for service desk. Instead of the user having to type the server name and port number to get the logon screen. Is there a way that this can happen or not? Thanks.
Monitoring a tape back up process with Opmanager MSP
Hi Is there anyone out there who has had experience with Opmanager monitoring tape back up process using Arcserve or Backup Exec. Whilst we cant monitor the device or the software directly we are looking at monitoring the error codes that are written to the event logs by the back up software. We will essentially search for a few different error codes and then create a message based on the error codes. Does anyone have a better idea of doing this because our solution is not very elegant Thanks Jonathan

Fill in automatically incidents with email body contents ??
Hello We receive emails from our call centre, all at the same text format. In the body of these emails, there are different info, incident number, callers name, etc.. Is it possible to have SD read inside the body and automatically fill in the incident. E.g. all incident number are written after a tag "incident number" followed by the actual number. I'd like to get this number and put it in a predefined text box in the SD incident... Same for the rest of the information. Thank you, this is very important
SMS using Clickatell
Has anybody successfully used Clickatell as their SMS portal on ServiceDesk? We use it successfully with ServersCheck, but it requires a username and password and on SD+ I think we can only supply username/account? Has anyone had success please? Thanks

SD+ won't delete Mails from the mailbox via POP

Problem Assigning a new asset to a department
Hey gang. We have been busily creating and assigning new assets to users. All is going good. We even have some assets assigned to departments - all good. However sometime between Dec 06 and Jan 07 a problem has developed whereby on the NEW ASSET form, when we select the "Allocate To" pull down and select DEPARTMENT....the "Owner Name" never populates. We can select users or workstations with no hassles (just a small delay while it populates which is fine). If we try the same thing on a workstation

"Windows Domain Scan" Problem
Hi When I run "windows domain scan" it doesn't fully detect all OU's within AD. For instance, it is only showing 4 out of 7 OU's within Domain Workstations. Any ideas? :)
