Treshold colors in Opmanager availibility reports
Hi, Is it possible to change the color tresholds in the availibility reports? We would like to see availability below 99.6 in yellow, and below 98 in red. Thanks in advance. Laurence.

SDP Integration with Intranet
Hello: I would like to integrate the login to SDP with a corporate intranet we are going to deploy. Either SDP's AD-based login would be the gateway, and I would want to add pages behind that login. Or we have users login to the intranet and SDP is a link off of one of those pages -- passing authentication through to SDP. Is either of these scenarios possible? Thanks.
Time display
I have been looking at the settings and at the manual and cannot see where there is a place to change the time display from the 24-hour view to a 12-hour view. Is there a place to do this? Thanks
Feature Requests & ETA for next version?
Just a few thoughts when playing with the demo... Edit/rename usernames for a resource - currently can only change the password. To change the username you have to delete and re-add. View resources in their groups from the main resources page - either show them in collapsible groups or have a simple drop down filter to only show the resources of the selected group It seems like if you add access to a resource group to a user and a new resource is added to the group, the user is not given access to

I'm thinking of security issues for our clients, and having a 24x7 connection between the sites, or just leaving a port open sounds a little spooky to the clients .... Issue with Cisco switch reportin ports
According to the "Port Availability Report", I have a 48 port Cisco 3548XL switch that has 82 transient ports and 18 used ports. This would result in a 100 port switch. This switch is only 48 ports. This report also states I have a Cisco 296048T switch with 40 avail ports, 48 used ports, and 12 transient. This would also be a 100 port switch, which is actually 48 ports. Your Port Availability Report is entirely too inaccurate to be useful. Chris Schear

new install discovery
I recently downloaded the trial version of OpManager to test out on our network. I have it installed on one of our servers, and started a discovery. I let it sit over night, and it stayed at 0%. I have checked the credentials, and they are the correct user name/password that we use. Any ideas on what could possibly be wrong?
Changing the Subcategory after initial creation doesn't work
Afternoon! I have a ticket, where if I change the Subcategory, and item, when I hit the check-box, it doesn't seem to save the change. The Subcategory and Item just revert to -. This occurs in both IE and Firefox. SQL 2000 Environment, upgraded DB from 6001 - 6005. cheers, Matte

Hi, Requester has a problem, He raised a request in servicedesk, Technician has addressed the request, and he entered the resolution and closed the ticketd, But requester has not satisfied, still he has the problem So requester is needed to reopen the ticket, HOW REQUESTER WILL REOPEN THE TICKET IN SERVICEDESK PLUS any feature is there or coming with this feature in releases, Regards, Venkat
Organization Locations - Do Anything
I see the Organization Locations, but does it do anything? There does not seems to be an option for it within Servicedesk for task creations, etc. Am I missing something? Thanks!
External users needing access to SD+
We have an external user wanting to gain access to our SD+ system. They already have a logon and password for on Active Directory for other purposes. Is there a way we can filter their view so they can see only their groups calls and disable the other default filters? Regards

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use more than one email address in a Requester's details. I've tried using ; and | and , but window pops up with "Invalid ID" message. Any ideas?
FeaturReq: Frequency & Period thresholds for trap proces
Two things that would add huge value for me in Opmanager are: 1.) Text based; string matching for SNMP trap processors. i.e. Some products issue traps for various conditions using only the EOID, without varbinds, making it impossible to distinguish between different events. i.e. Checkpoint. 2.) Also, a frequency and period capability to SNMP trap processors would be invaluable. i.e. - Threshold creation: Create the alarm if (x) occurences of the trap occur within the specified age timeout period

I am trying to view reports from my netvanta 3448 Adtran firewall to the Firewall analyzer. However even though it is receiving the syslog (info) packets it isn't giving me any information in the traffic analysis. It analyzes about 2-4 of the lines and then just archives the rest. Is there something that I am missing and how can I extract the logs and send them so you can support Adtran Devices. pop3 smtp testing services
I know in the past network monitoring tools watch ports and send data and get a response. But i've had times where opmanager says SMTP or POP is up? but it isn't really working right. I'm wondering what opmanager can do in this department? I need a tool that will actually test a pop3 user/mailbox, test and send a smtp message. I know what's up gold does it but I hate their front end. We currently use opmanager 6 and we are looking for a solution that has these features. Anyone out there using opmanager

plasma view update
Hi We have a the plasma view up on a plasma screen in front of our department. We have noticed that altough the system if has been monitoring has gone down. The plasma view still shows that the monitor is up. This seems to be coupled with being logged out of App manager. Unable to close request with attachments
i have a request open containing 9 attachments. i'm trying to enter a resolution in order to close it but it's not responding when i click on "Enter Resolution" in "Actions". Is this because its loaded with attachments (necessary to enable the technician to carry out their work)? If so, this needs to be looked at.

Opmanager 7 - Various Problems
hi, Downloaded OM7 , which is very good but have a few frustrating problems. When reporting alarms from ports on our Catalyst 6500's it doesnt give a meaningful name or even the ifindex. So all ports are identfied as cat3/5 this is not all very useful. Tomcat Monitoring over SSH

Now we need to monitor the tomcat installation on that machine and there doesn't seem to be a way to use the already existing ssh connection to test it. Cant monitoring Cisco interfaces
Hello World ! I have some problems when monitoring Cisco interfaces. I can't have interfaces values from 3 of my 8 cisco's devices. 3 of them don't spool the interfaces. I tried to spool them manually but with no result. I tried to rediscover them and to redefine the community but those values still don't spool. Hi there, I am more often experiencing OpManager running very slowly at random intervals, as an example I could click on a link and it may take several minutes for that link to come up. Linking requests
We have a situation where we would like to be able to associate a group of requests with one another. Is there a way to link or group requests to each other? My only idea for how to do this was to create a custom field with a "master" request number. If all the requests have this number in that field, I can link them. Thanks, Carolyn

Hi We recently purchased our license for OpManager Premium, which was of course v6, however due to a delay on the server arriving late v7 is now available and uses Device not use licensing (a real negative from our perspective) However, the real question is can i just install v7 using my v6 license or do I have to install v6, and wait for the upgrade pack?
