hi everyone, when i log on to a probe go 2 admin -> rediscovery i can asjust the auto. rediscovery time but how can i deactivate it? i just can give him values between 1 and 15? i just like 2 manage some servers not the whole network (no desktops, no switches, no printers etc.. ) what can i do ? thanks Chris

However I need to put a time limit on each select statement so that it only counts incidents created in the last month, but I am having difficulty as SDP does not use the standard SQL date format to store dates. how can a user send a complaint for a closed ticket?
hello all I have the following question: What do you do for users that do not agree in the resolution? If the resolution is not working, and/or user is not satisfied, is there a possibility to send back the ticket to the same technicien that solved the incident? I couldn't find a button to activate, neither found a mail function for that. Any inputs welcome 8)

Services associated to the wrong devices
Hello I've got a strange problem with my the opmanager 7025. if i try to associate a service to one or many devices with the quick configuration wizard, the services are always associated with the wrong devices. the problem occured in 7023 and 7025. i even tried to restore an old opmanager db backup but the problem still occurs. i attached a pdf which shows the problem with some screenshots, unfortunately the support information file is too big to attach it here. can you please help me?

OpManager 7023 and Exchange Monitoring
We recently upgraded from version 6 to version 7 and I noticed the exchange monitors were either not reporting or showing false positives. I deleted the devices and re-added them but now the servers are not being recognized as Exchange servers. Has anyone run into this problem or know how to fix this?
searching in requests
Using version 6.5.0 build 6500. I evaluated this software about a year ago and was frustrated that I could not search through the details of requests. For example, most of our tech support is done via email and I would like to search through all of my requests for a certain keyword, for example "vista". I know this has been discussed before but is there any way for OpManager users with read-only access to have a "Home" selection on the main toolbar? Why would this view not be available? Hi there, My problem is: when i want to run ./StartOpManagerServer.sh i have this messages error: /var/AdventNet/ME/OpManager/apache/ssl/backup/ssl.conf: the file or directory does not exist /var/AdventNet/ME/OpManager/apache/ssl/ssl.conf does not exist i think the principal problem si when opmanagerserver start its can't find "ssl" directory, i tried generate them with ./ssl_gen.sh but i have the same problems (/var/AdventNet/ME/OpManager/apache/bin/openssl: the file or directory does not exist)

SD+ assigning to wrong groups
Hi Each time a user sends an email to our helpdesk it is putting it automatically into a group, it is the same group each time but I have not created any rules to specify this group. I have double checked the business rules there is no rule that sends mail to this particular group. I am on version 7 build 10. I have had this issue since upgrading. Kind regards
Unable to detect USB GSM Modem on OpManager
Hi, I'm trying to enable notification to be sent through SMS via a USB GSM Modem but doesn't work. The modem is detected properly by the operating system (vista) and am able to manually send and receive SMS but OpManager doesn't detect this modem. My manager wants me to send him a typed weekly update via email with all the latest information relating to requests outstanding and what progress we are upto. Seems we are using SD v7010, I would like to be lazy and get this report to be automated via the SD if possible. It would be ideal if it could be restricted to a certain field that we have created in Request - Additional Field, its called Location (Site) in Label 3. Migrate ELS to a new server
I've only been running ELA for a month or two but I need to move it to a different server. I don't have a huge amount of trends built up but would like to take what I have to the new server rather than starting over fresh. Hello, We're evaluating this great tool and we need a report that shows the bandwidth use by protocol and time. Y-axis: Time (Preferably short periods: 1 minute) X-axis: Bandwidth (group by protocol) It could by fantastic if the report shows real-time statistics. The report should be similar to "Live Reports -> Last 24 hours Traffic (5 Minute Average)", but it should show protocol use. Best regards.

Incorrect results of workstation scanning
On scanning (or re-scanning) some workstations arise following error message: One of the value with which the Workstation is added depends on another Object which does not exist. Hence cannot add this Workstation. On this we see following situation: Some of Workstation Details fileds (for example Installed Memory Modules, Network Adapters, Logical Drives) have not changed their values but have added to list of the according components (see attached pictures).

Hello together, we have installed ServiceDesk Plus and it worked during half a year like a charm, but now it is always on 100% of cpu load. I traced the SQL-queries and could see that there was a loop. I took the query that produces the failure that caused the loop and executed it usiong an SQL-editor. View Departmental Requests - BUG!

As part of this role, it is important that they are able to see requests raised by others within their department and there is a checkbox on the requesters details page titled "Allow to see all requests for the department". SDP 7 - Asset Management - Windows Domain Scan - List wrong?
Using build 7008 We have one active AD domain in use but a number of contractors on site at present using machines with other domains declared on them. SDP is detecting these and adding them to the list of Windows Domains to scan. That in turn makes them available in the sign in page of SDP as by default all domains found are flagged as Public. WebSphere 6.1 ND - no alert for stopped JVM?
Hello, I've noticed that when I stop a JVM being monitored by AM8, I don't get a red indicator showing that it's unavailable. AM8 is connected to a server1 instance in the cell running the perfServApplet, PMI is on, I've configured which JVM's I want to monitor and I'm getting JVM data. When I stop one of the JVM's being monitored (not the server1 instance), I don't get an alert. All I see is that the JVM is no longer reporting information. Step Through Monitor?
I do not believe the monitors are working correctly. I setup an authenticated sequence URL using the recorder. Although, the recorder shows success the monitor is failing within App Manager. How can I "step" through the sequence in the monitor to test and see what the monitor is doing?
