Speed not set correctly?
I am new to netflow (great product by the way) and I am not sure how to set the speeds on the interfaces. Do I calculate this by the line speed or the interface speed 100MB? So even though different sites have different line speeds but all the router interfaces are 100BM full duplex I calculate by 100mb? PS> I do not have snmp setup. Thanks in advance.
Purchase Order Approve Permission
Hi SD+ Team, I've a request regarding Purchase Order approve: I see that Approve Role is available only for technicians but not for users. In my case, for example, Finance controller is considered user, not technician: usually he approves our PO, not one of us (IT Techs). Is there any possibility to give SDApprove role to requesters? I think is the same thing like when you submit an approval to some user regarding a normal ticket, do you agree? Thanks Cesar
Service Desk Keeps locking up and will not update
I am running 7011 and it keeps locking up on me and I have to restart the service. I get no errors that lead me anywhere. In addition, I have tried updating to 7012, 7013, and 7015 and it gets to 98% and then errors and uninstalls. I have called tech support. I sent them a copy of my database and have not heard back from them.

Traffic Volume per Subnet
Hello, Following configuration of IPGroups (subnets) we would like to compare the volume used by each group. The only function seems to be the "compare" view. However it seems that it is not possible to export all the data in CSV. right? As we have more than 100 subnets we would lie to have a comparison either on the same graph of Top10 for instance or at least a CSV export function of all the data for all subnets. Mysql Permissions
On linux, our default installation was done as 'root' and the mysql daemon and all other PMP utilities are run as root. Is it possible to make PMP run as a user other than root? I know in other mysql installs, mysqld usually runs as the user 'mysql'. Any thoughts?
Event Log Rules - exclusions
Is there any way to configure exclusion event log rules? We are monitoring the system and application logs for any errors and warning, which is very useful but it also generates alarms for events that can be ignored. Sites in Reports
I am trying to set up reports for workstations and setup a Custom Report. I tried to create a report so that only a certain "Site" was displayed although nothing came up in results. I then instead created a custom report to show all the details of every workstation including the Site field and they are showing as "Not Assigned" on the report. Source and Destination Analysis
When trying to analyze heavy traffic utilization, the destination address is always the router int. This is of course working as designed. Example: If someone in an organization starts a download of a 500MB file, and let's say it makes the router INT jump to 100%, then we see that on the dashboard or on any of the reports. Values are not updated any more
Hi, I installed OPManager 7102. I discovered my network, added all necessary monitors. It works fine. Today, I checked my monitors and all values showed N/A I tested my monitors, which worked fine the day before and most test did work fine. So the values were updated. When I checked back an hour later, the values still remeained the same. Even when I set the monitoring intervall to 5 minutes, I only had the one vlaue, I got when I tested the monitor. After testing again, I have two values in my reports.
Business View size limit?
What is the max size of a business view? I am trying to add 41 devices and it tells me some of them are outside the background image. I am not using a background image.

Failed Hotfix update
I tried to apply 7015 to our 7009 installation, the update failed so I tried to uninstall the hotfix, this would not work either. I had to uninstall and reintstall ServiceDesk Plus ver 7009. Now I am ready to install 7015 again but the software shows this in the upgrade manager as being installed even though it is not. Anybody know how I get round this one? Shall I just wait and install 7016?
Help with routing
I'm looking at SDP to possibly replace our current helpdesk. I have all of these created: Requesters (with extra Location field) Technicians (a couple) Categories Regions Sites (Locations) Groups Here's how we route in our current helpdesk. We do not use any kind of dispatch or have anyone manually routing tickets. We route all tickets based on the Category and for many Category + Location. "Add Subnet" should allow any subnet mask
When I try to Add Subnet manually, there is a dropdown menu for the Subnet Mask, which only contains common masks. We use variable length subnet masking, 3 of our subnets are 255.255.254.0 and one is 255.255.252.0. Merge workstations?
Hi, When using SDP 6 we had entered all of our workstations and other assets, filled in all the details and assigned them to users. These workstations were named using the serial number of the machine rather than the computer name at the time as the computer name can change and sometimes does. The serial number was also entered into the correct place. When we upgraded to version 7, it scanned the network and we now have a LOT of duplicate entries as we have a few thousand assets in our system. There

Hi all, My customer doesn�t have the possibility to send the reports scheduled by email. This method works fine. But if I create a schedule for �writing to harddisk�, instead of email, I am experiencing some troubles.
