Unnecessary alarm on OpManager
Hello guys, Everytime i login to one of my routers i receive tcpconnstate alarm. The following: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.9.3.1.1.322.1: 5, tcpConnState: 7, .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.6.1.1.5.10.10.14.9.23.10.10.14.8.52268: 4284, .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.6.1.1.1.10.10.14.9.23.10.10.14.8.52268: 174, .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.6.1.1 I tried to create trap processor for it but so far i'm not successful. So how can i tell OpManager to receive the trap/notification, but do not generate any alarms? How can i do that? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Status message - unable to find the object: (Servername)
Hello I am new to Opmanager I have installed it and discovered our network. I have managed to group my servers. I have followed the SNMP guide and configured SNMP on my servers. When i go to the server in opmanager and click on the server the next screen it goes to says the following: Status message Unable to find the object: (My server name) How do i get this working?
Problems with CPU utilization in all linux servers
Hi, OpManager shows N/A utilization for the resource monitors like CPU utlization in all the linux Servers. Monitors are added and the graphics not showed . I have added more monitors and these show information The test not showed the commands to use. Hi, Hope someone can help, I believe that I am trying to do something quite simple but can't work it out. I know the IP Number of the device, I also know the exact OID Number (1.3.6.1.4.1.16714.1.1.1.3.1.2.0), what I want to do is return the decimal value from here. Can anyone help. IE7 can't open the Servicedesk Plus web page
thanks for your time and support i am using Servicedesk Plus version 7 build 7017. when i try to open it using IE7 it give me a blank IE page.. and nothing else when i try to open it using IE6, it works i need to open it with IE7 as all the computers i am using is Vista.
Adding custom monitors for new device template
I've got a couple of devices that I've added templates for and I need to add some custom monitors for them as well. As far as I can tell, the only way you can add a custom monitor is to select the OID from the MIB tables that come default with the OpManager MIB Browser. My problem, however, is that the OID's I need to add are not in any of the pre-loaded tables. Is there a way to add my own monitors with OID's other than the pre-loaded ones? Thanks Joe
Naming items in PO Req
is there any way to have the same name but different part numbers. For instance I want to type HP Black Toner with a PN: C8767WN and the next item be HP Black Toner with PN: C9363QN etc.... but I get an error message. This would be the organized way to do this. or will I have to do something like have the PN in the name and also put the PN in the PN field. that would really make it look messy and unorganized.

Switch Enterasys Matrix N7
Hello All, We have an Enterasys Matrix N7 switch core in our LAN but when I added the switch in the Opmanager the device was not recognized as a switch neither the vendor Enterasys... the SNMP community is configured OK. I set manually the vendor, category and type and customized the "EnterasysNetwork" template with a custom monitor (as displayed in the attached file), that is working fine. Contract Sort Order
Hi - It seems that the contract sort order in 7.x has changed to alphabetical. Is there some way to change this back to chronological? It's much easier that way to review upcoming expirations. Even the "expiring in the next 30 days" selection is alphabetical. Am I missing a sort option? It looks like this is a feature that's been requested since 5.x. Thanks, Endaar
AD Pass-Through not working
Hi All, We just upgraded from 6.x to 7017. With AD Pass-Through disabled, login behavior is the same as in the prior version. With this setting enabled, when accessing SDP, we're prompted by a Windows login dialog. After entering that info, we are then brought to the SDP login screen. Clearly this isn't what should be happening. My understanding of pass-through authentication is that the site should automatically use the windows credentials of the logged-on user to log into SDP. Web client not seen
Hi, I started the Applications Manager in Linux using the respective script (startApplicationsManager.sh). The applications manager has started successfully and also sending out SNMP polls for which it was configured for. When i try to work using the web-client (http://hostname/applications.do) I see nothing. Only a blank page is displayed in IE (In firefox, some java script error is shown). outlook forms
we are using forms created through outlook (.oft) that users fill in and the automated form is sent to our inbox. Well the problem is when sdp fetches this email it generates an empty email. Only thing left is the "subject" field. Is there a fix for this problem.... btw my manager had me stop the mail fetching until we can get a workaround. Here is the form that our users complete and once sent they suppose to generate in our inbox.

Outlok created forms emailed to portal
We have various forms created in Microsoft outlook which email perfectly OK to normal user accounts but when emailed to the Helpdesk Services portal the ticket is blank? The form in Outlook uses drop down mandatory boxes - these drop downs don't need to be included in the onward email but at the moment nothing travels across!!! How can the outlook form be successfully emailed to the portal? Thx
