Cleaning up Requesters
Is there anyway that we can check the login history of each requesters? it's going to be easier to track down which requesters are no longer active on our system.
Need to login again after clicking on a link
Hello, We are currently evaluating Servicedesk plus. However, after we log in and we click a link we have to log in again. After we log in again we are taken to the link we clicked on previously but if we click on another link we are returned to the login screen again. has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix available - or are we doing something wrong?
Assigning calls to groups
in the list view of requests there is an option to assign with a techinician drop down....... This doesn't include groups so cant assign a request/or group of requests through to a team of techinicians for one of them to pick up. Have to actually go into the requests one by one and then when clicking on assign there is the option to assign to tech or group or both..... Can this be changed to have a section at bottom of dropdown for groups? Cheers Ian D

I can't receive any messages in Syslog due to it's running in port 514 but ip address 127.0.0.1 How can change this address?
Database Delete
We are new users to the Password Manger Pro product. We are through testing and have had it implemented for several months. I would like to go back and delete all the logging in the data base without reloading. Is there a way to do that or a way to generate reports for a set period? Thanks, Jim

Usecase goes like this I need to record a script for answering a survey page.When i playback the script i can see the previous answers of tht survey page.For that I need to delete the cookies and answer the script programmatically.So can I do that using QEngine. Reports for Imported Logs
Am I overlooking something obvious? I would like to import saved-off event logs from another server, and generate reports from the imported data. Importing the logs works fine, and I can load/search the DB just fine; however, the templated and other reporting functions do not seem to be able to be used with imported files. These should be with respect to the logfile time/date stamps, as well. Please advise.
Report on resolved time instead of completed time??
Hi, I'm just wondering if it's possible to have on a report the resolved time as opposed to the completed time? Currently I have a custom report but have only got Created Time, Completed Time and Dueby Time but I'd like to include Resolved Time as sometimes there is a gap between when a call was resolved and when it's closed. Is this possible? I have version 7.5.0 build 7502. Thanks

netflow with proxy
Hello everyone I am trying to setup netflow analyzer in a network that uses a proxy server (isa). Except the router setup, can anyone please tell me what else is necessary on the proxy server in order to collect the information from netflow? Thanks in advance
NetFlow only shows 35 interfaces
I have over 100 interfaces on my core switch but Netflow only shows 35 and of course the particular interfaces I need to monitor are not showing. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to do something to allow Netflow to show the additional interfaces so I can then "Manage" them? thx

BUG: OM8 performance monitors dont work with mis-classified device
OM8, latest build. I added a custom Device Template for my PowerWare 9315 UPS (the default template for PowerWare UPS did not work). The device template works just fine, and I added the appropriate MIB file. To reproduce the bug: 1. Add a device via Admin -> Add Device 2. The device is added successfully but not classified properly (it puts it in Desktop) 3. Open the device page, change the vendor to "Eaton", Category to "UPS", and Type to "Powerware 9315" (which is the name of the custom device
Approvals
Would like to see if I am missing a way to accomplish this. We are going to have requesters submitting requests that need approval. Is there any way to tie a business rule to such: If category is 'category A' Then Submit for Approval to xxxxx@xxxx.com Doesn't appear there is a way to do this, but this would really help us out. Any thoughts?
corrupt data-dictionary
it appears my data-dictionary.xml file is corrupt again. almost all servers are missing, all views are missing, and monitoring is not working at all. unfortunately we found this out the hard way - we had several servers go down this weekend and we were not alerted and noticed opmanager stopped working again. we have had data-dictionary corrupt before and at least 4 times in the past opmanager will just "lose" everything we have worked so hard to configure. i dont know if our situation is unique,

Firewall Ports
We currently have our firewalls disabled company wide. We are looking at removing that restrictions. I am having issues getting ServiceDesk plus to scan the computers after the firewall is enabled. Can anyone tell me what ports I need to open to allow ServiceDesk to scan these computers? Thanks

Does anybody knows if the timeframe set in an availability report is refered to the OpManager server? This is an importan information for workhours report with several countrys/timezones. Thanks Diego
why are asterisks (*) displayed for port number?
I understand the TCP_app issue. What I don't understand is at times there are "*" displayed instead of port numbers why is this. I need to know the port to add an app to the list.
Updating User accounts based on EmpID
I need to bulk update users (set expiration date, disable or delete them) and wish to do this through csv import. But it does not let me import a csv file with EmpID #'s. Each user has a unique EmpID, so can I do a bulk update to a list of EmpID's?

I have installed MySQL Admin and when i connect to the SDP database i receive this error 'Either the server service or the configuration file could not be found. logging getting deleted automatically
There is some problem with enabling real time change detection. For two devices, whenever I enable the change detection through syslog, exactly after 4 days it automatically gets deleted from the router.
Additional Field for Users Account
Will there be any plan to allow customization of additional field for users account similar to the resources? The only two field available for users is 'Department' and 'Location'.
Line spacing in description / resolution fields
I noticed that when you type in the fields, it double-spaces your text by default when you hit enter. I understand that when you hit shift-enter, it only single spaces. Great. However, when you paste something in (from Word, for example), it looks great, until you save, then it double-spaces everything. Date and Time Summary of Downtime
Whenever the links go down we should get a downtime alert. While even as the links go up we should get a uptime alert with the total. With the total summary of the downtime. i.e total time the link was down.

The ability to monitor the status of hardware using snmp by monitoring the status of the device. Normally if the device is ok it's normally set to 2. This was we can monitor individual components of the system instead of using SNMP Traps which is a bit of a pain.

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to create a report for a billing summary? Currently I have billing reports scheduled for every month but it sends out a report for each customer. I need to get a report to send to accounting that has every customer with their bandwidth amounts in one summary. Is it possible to do this?
Linux op manager init script
Is there supposed to be an init script for the linux version of opmanager, I can't seem to find any rc's, or init's in the package. I can run it properly from an interactive console, but I'd prefer to not have to leave a console open to run the software.
Netflow and span
anyone know if the technology Netflow on a 2811 router works with technology span (mirror of all ports in only one) made in a switch that connects to the router, the switch does not support Netflow therefore was to span a router.
