MSSQL Monitor sees not all databases
Hi all, I have some problems with the MSSQL Monitor within OPManager. I use the latest build downloaded just yesterday. I add a server and add the MSSQL monitors. I also see the databases running on this server and I can add them to be monitored. Monitoring works fine. However... There are more databases installed on this server MSSQL 2005. For example there are running 8 databases on this server, but I only see 5 of them. The other 3 are not shown at all. I tried different users because I thought,
Custom Attributes displaying inconsistent in Reports
We are experiencing that a custom attribute field is not populated consistently for two of the reports. When running the Users Reports - All Users report from the main menu, only one user displays. When running the report Exchange Reports - Mailbox Enabled Users, there are four users with this field populated which is consistent with the LDAP exports. In the Admin>LDAP Attribute setting, the custom attribute has been Associated to both the User & Exchange Reports

8008 Mail Fetching has stopped

Application won't start automatically
I am using Windows 2008 server. Firewall turned off. I migrated the data from our other servicedesk from another server. Both servicedesk are on the same version, 8008 when I did the migration. Everything runs okay when I manually turn on the service by running the run.bat file.
Cannot access AD via Desktop Central
I have added a remote location and deployed an Distributed Server on this location. The DS and the Desktop Central are communicating well. remote DS is in the remote domain. When I installed manually agent, all is also going well. However, when I try to edit credentiel to browse the Active Directory to select computers, I have th following message : "Domain Controller is not valid or not operational" How can that be ? I have a machine that keeps getting the same patches offered. Patch # 7995 and #9118. I have even ran the patches manually and the status returned was that the patch was already installed or part of a previous patch. Why do I keep getting missing patch warnings?

I scheduled a report every month when we started to use SupportCenter Plus several months ago. Scheduled time is 9: 00 AM of 28. Some time later, I deleted this scheduled report and made a new one whose scheduled time is 17:00 PM of 28. But every month I got two reports. First one is sent at 9:00 AM of 28 but nothing in the report except creating time. Another one is sent at 17:00 PM of 28 which is the report I want. User import - updated details are not correct!
Hi, I have edited a users e-mail address and re-imported from active directory only to find that no changes have been made to the account details in servicedesk plus! I checked the data in AD again thinking I maybe made a mistake, but AD is showing the new e-mail and correct e-mail address. I then edit another field in AD, the user's telephone number, and re-imported into SDP again. It did not update the phone details either! Basically what I am looking for is something that can query the active directory, pull locked user accounts, and send the information in readable format to a phone or iPad, Only when there is actual data to send. I looked at ADmanager and it seems to be able to send reports on a schedule. Unfortunately the reports are sent in zip files which can not be opened on devices and setting the report to email every hour will fill up the inbox quite quickly especially with blank reports. Creation of Accounts does not logically name Sites
G'day, When an account is created, it automatically creates a site called "Common Site". While this may be fine if only one or two sites are created at a time, when multiple sites are being created you end up with numerous sites called "Common Site" and therefore you have to go into each one and change the name to reflect the Account to make it slightly easier to create requests. Rather than creating "Common Site", it should have some reference to the parent Account, eg "Account Site". Rgds Ben

ServiceDesk page not loading on Windows 7 + IE8.
Here is my shortcut to ServiceDesk: http://servicedesk.****.*******:8080/HomePage.do. It works fine on a Windows XP machine with IE8. Now when I try it on a Windows 7 machine with IE8, it prompts me for my username/password, I enter it and hit OK, and then nothing happens. The page does not load. Why? Email alert action does not contain root cause data
Hi, We have recently built a new Applications Manager server and I have just set up alarms for all the monitors (NOT at the monitor group level) but when we receive an email notification we do not get the full details we just get told that it meets for example "security error alert" rule. We previously got advised with our last build that we should configure the alarms on a monitor by monitor basis and not on the groups, which this time I have followed but we are still having the same problem.
Support E-Mail Address - What's it for?

I see that it needs to be unique and i see the note that is there: Specify the ’To’ address to which e-mail requests will be sent by a requester from this account. Hi, I am attempting to prove the XML-RPC API can be used in our organisation. I am having trouble with getting the necessary certificates set up. In the API user screen, does it matter which certificate is entered for the XML-RPC API access? Is the .pfx ok, or does it need to be a public .cer? I have my client making a successful connection to the server via SSL but when I submit the query (pmp.password.retrieve) it returns no data in the result - just an empty string, content length = 0. Access denied error on one domain controller
We just deployed AD Audit Plus, and are seeing one issue with event collection. We are monitoring several domains without issue, however, our parent level domain has three DCs that we want to monitor. I have specified credentials for the domain that tie to an account that I've elevated as far as the domain and enterprise admin groups. AD Audit Plus is able to grab events from 2 of the 3 DCs with no issues using this account, but the third reports the following error when we click the run now button:
Error - The event log file is corrupted - Error code : 5dc
Other than the obvious, is there anymore information available regarding this error code and how to resolve? thanks
Possible bug in Widget?
Hi Everyone, On the main dashboard we have a widget setup to show the Top 10 bandwidth utilization. I've noticed that under the "Receive %" Category, all devices always show 100%. This seemed to start after upgrading to 8723. Deleting and re-adding the widget has no effect. I've attached a screen show as well. Thank you for your help. Eric

ADManager Restore Error.

Renaming users, tsprofile, Home directory, etc.
We looked at ADManager about 2 years ago and when renaming the user it had the same downfall as just renaming a user via Active Directory. That problem is that it didn't rename the tsprofile and home directory when a user was renamed. Is this still the same with the newest version of ADManager Plus? I ask because I work in a hospital and when a user is renamed it is manadatory that the Home directory and TS profile also get the name changed? How does the newest version of AdManager Plus go
