One report for all user settings
Hello, We are looking into the ADManager and are exited about it. But is there a report that I can select a user and get all of his/her information. Like email, emailforwarder, emailcontact, email groups he belongs to, windows groups he belongs to, etc. Now this information is spread arround different reports. Thanks, Sander
Exchange 2010 automatic mailbox selection
With templates you need to specify the mailbox server and the mailbox database...however the best feature of exchange 2010 is the automatic distribution of mailboxes. Automatic mailbox distribution is a new feature in Exchange 2010. If you don't provide a mailbox database when you create a new mailbox on an Exchange 2010 server, Exchange picks a mailbox database for you. How can we leverage this optino with Exchange 2010?
Completed Jobs in ADManager
How can I tell which jobs I've started have completed? If I started a job like move home folder, go back in later, how can I tell that this job finished?
Move Home Folders did not deleted source folder
When I run jobs to move the home folders path, the source folder and destination folders exsist where the source folder should have been removed.
Importing Bulk users
I am trying to import a bulk user csv to add users. I get the following error message The following attribute(s) userID, userpass, access_level, DistributorID, CompanyName, FirstName, LastName, TitlePosition, DirectEmail, DirectPhone, Fax, CellPhone, Version, Notes, MailingList, Training101, Training7400, TrainingService, Status, Started, Ended, LastLogin in the header is/are not proper ldap attributes Please assist
Unused distribution groups
I read on a forum that someone used AD Manager Plus to provide them with a list of unused distribution groups within the organization. I download the tool to see if this would help me in identifying the unused groups by dont see any way to run this sort of querry. Am I missing something or is this not a capability?

I am looking for a report that will show me what accounts have Outlook Anywhere turned on. I thought Account Properties, but I cannot see the information required.
More scheduled Reports in one E-Mail
Hi, is it possible to have more scheduled reports sent in one Email. At the moment i have to generate for each Report one Scheduled Report that is sent to me via Email. Something like a Dashboard or selecting which Reports should be sent via Email would be good to have. So at the moment i have 6 scheduled Reports per day and i am getting 6 Emails at the same time. One Email with all these 6 reports would be better solution. Thanks. Florian

How do I delete old Custom WMI performance Monitors which are no longer used?
The list of WMI performance monitors in my opmanager is huge. Because over the years I have created many. Custom performance monitors which reference for instance, sql instances that no longer exist are of no further use, and I would like to delete them. How do I do this? OpManager (9200) Alarm Escalation Email Template Modification
I would like to modify the escalation email template, like we can for the normal alert emails, where do I modify that? We currently send email to our text email addresses (8885551212@vtext.com) and we get 4 our 5 messages instead of one, so I would like to shorten that message that is sent for escalation to reflect my needs. SMS messages are not an opitons, please help.
Service Desk Plus backup question
I would like to confirm in terms of backups if we can disable the backup jobs that are scheduled in ME and simply run SQL DB backups from our SQL servers where the ME DB’s are stored. Or if not, do we just backup the backup folder on the ME server and do not need to backup the SQL Servers DB?

Hi, I'm testing the service desk functionality. Regarding the business rules I have read that they are site specific. But I have a doubt: I have different sites I have specific teams for every site, but I have some teams that are global, then I want to create a business rule that runs for all the sites, with that rule I want to assign the tickets based on certain category to a global group. I'm able to create the rule at the default settings (Bussiness Rule for) but it seems that it doesn't run;

OpManager Downtime Report only shows 24 Hours
Using build 9010 right now, soon to upgrade but the specific DownTime report will only show specific outages for the past 24 hours. When I run the report for Last Week, month etc there is no data even though there's Downtime. This specific report shows the individual outages rather than the bulk availability which just calculates total downtime. I want to see specific instances so I can calculate how many downtimes, ie: flapping circuit etc. Downtime report is it, but no data past 24 hours.

Managing Zhone network element
I have a Zhone network element and I need to manage it either through SNMP monitor or SNMP traps. I have uploaded mibs file to OpManager but I couldn't monitor any alarm.
Any way to disable monitoring specific virtual NICs?
We have several NICs on our VMs that are on a non-routed iSCSI segment. When we added the VM infrastructure, all the individual VMs were imported, and the NICs appear under the Virtual NICs tab. There doesn't seem to be a way to quit monitoring the specific iSCSI NIC. Not a huge issue, but since it's not a routed segment, the OpManager server just ills up firewall logs trying to connect to it, when it can't. For our physical servers which also have a NIC on that iSCSI segment, I can just remove

I need to know that if there is any possibility that we can change the name "Manage Engine Page #" found at the end of page of reports generated by Manage Engine. Although rebranding option present in ManageEngine does changes the reports logo but "ManageEngine OpManager -Page:1" is still showing there. thanks
What custom workflows are available in the change management module?
Hi, I am new to ManageEngines' servicedeskplus and am just looking at the change management module. It is good as it stands but i want to be able to add a few custom workflows, i.e. if the change state is = x then send notification to Y. Or if all approvals = approved then change the status of change to approved and so on and so on. Is this possible and is there any documentation on how to do this online? thanks

Dup ip entries in IPAM
Hi, I was wondering if anyone else is having an issue when they they place in a subnet such as 172.26.192.0/24 into IPAM that the tool reports back the IP lives on several different routes when its a point to point nextwork IP. Also I am having this same issue with the IPs even when they are in a VLAN traversing a trunk port. Im looking to delete dup IPs and or figure out why auto discovery shows one IP listed 10+ times. Hi, I have version 8812 release and now that i have aquired AMS i can upgrade to the latest. I have cloned and isolated my server in order to do a test upgrade before messing with production. Drobo Elite iSCSI Disk Reads as Negative Value
Hi All - I have a strange issue which is prominent on all servers that have Drobo Elite iSCSI disks attached to them. They are Hyper-V 2008 R2 server's and when opmanager reads there free disk space, it returns a negative value, thus triggering an alarm because it is below my threshold. I know I can just change my threshold to a negative value from a positive value, but I would really like to get this to work the correct way, and not the hackjob wilson way. Hi there. We installed the NF pro plus edition trail version to test out on our network. We had it running for several hours today without any issues and were learning about the GUI. We checked it this evening and noticed that all the interfaces are now showing a Status unknown. No flow received for last 10 minutes. Could you shed some light on why that is taking place? Are their any logs we could look into or possibly restart the services? thank you.

Dear good day. OpManager is not collecting data CLI servers that are outside the network (localweb), the test credential responds normally. In the 9011 version this problem does not happen, because in 9200 and 9210 the problem persists. Could help us. Thank you.
Contract Module Permission
I would like to expose the ability for our techniciaions (non-admins) to be able to add/edit contracts in the ServiceDesk. If I go to the role that our technicians are assigned and add Full control, they are still unable to get the "New Contract" button to show up. Is this a bug? Am I missing something? Kevin

Fortigate Sflow not working for PPPoE interface
I have a forti-wifi 60C and have configured it for sflow sending to NetflowAnalyzer. Both the internal and Wan2 ports show up in NetflowAnalyzer but the Wan1 interface does not. I have run wireshark with just the wan1 interface sending sflow packets, and there are packets being received by the NetflowAnalyzer host PC. Any ideas on what is causing this? Cheers Mike
Can't get OpManager to log into website
I can't get our URL monitor to log into the website. https://www.kappakappagamma.org/Kappa/MembersDefault.aspx I put the username and password in the monitor area for authentication but it doesn't seem like its even trying to login. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks, Shawn
Unable to start
I have installed manage engine service desk plus on windows 7,but i am unable to start the server. In command promp,i typed cd c:\manageengine\servicedesk\bin then run.bat . it says could not find c:\manageengine\servicedesk\bin ,although it is there then it threw an exception,could not create connaection.pls see the uploaded document pls help
