Feature - Improvement Request, Notification "clear" change
Currently If a notification profile includes the "clear" notification, that profile subscribes to "all clear" notifications. I would like, this to be changed, to only subscribe to clear notifications, for conditions the profile is subscribed to in the first place. For instance for our SQL DBA's I do not notify them for problems with any interface, but they receive the clear notifcations for interfaces, which just results in us getting questions for issues which really they don't want to be bothered
Hyper V automatic guest detection disable
Hi, At the moment when I add a VMware host I have the ability to turn off autodiscover for the guest machines on it. I would like to do the same with Hyper V servers but I don't have the option. This means although I only want to manage the HOST it picks up guest servers hosted on it and fills up my licenses. Can this be done? Kind regards Eugene
WMI Polling - Authentication Question
We are currently in the beginning stages of configuring OpManager, and have hit a bit of a snag. Per the KB on the issue, for WMI to correctly work, -administrative- access is required to the domain controller. My employer does not allow administrative access to the domain controller, so that puts us in a bind. Does anyone have a work around for this?
At a glance reports not showing WMI stats
Hello All, Hope this is not a question that's been asked over and over... but here goes: If I set up a new server to be monitored and add a load of WMI monitors this all works and the status screen looks good and shows data. When I run the At a glance reports, no data shows??? Does the data have to come from SNMP monitoring or is there a way to get it to show data from WMI instead? Thanks in advance..
Configuration - File Folder Operation - problem
Hy, i have a problem with new configuration i made. I create 4 steps in that configuration. I deploy configuration and everything was OK. But after that in new configuration i made from first one i deleted first two steps. I run that configuration on new set of computer and on all that computers configuration did what was deined. But in DC status of deployment is Retry in progress. My question is why it shows like that. Is the problem that i deleted first 2 steps and configuration remembered that

Netflow add-on into OPM
I am using the following version of OPM and NFA: OPM Essential 9410 NFA 9 Professional 9700 I try to integrate NFA into OPM so that I can check the traffic in one screen. I have successfully config the Add-on as attachment 1 But when I try to check the ports traffic on OPM, it ask me to login again in NFA as attachment 2 I try to login but fail, it just keep on ask me to login again. Can anyone help me on this case? FYI, the credentials sure can login to NFA.

Is there any problem with installing the Desktop Central Server and/or the Distribution Servers onto Windows 2008 r2 servers that are also Domain Controllers? Or should they be installed only on dedicated Member servers? Thank you.

Corrupted Table in Netflow
I have an issue with the mysql database of Netflow Analyzer. The applicationout10min table in the Netflow database is nowhere to be found. I guess it was deleted/corrupted. Is there any way for me to restore the table? I am thinking of creating the table but i am also considering the tables where applicationout10min is connected or have relationship. Please advise. ASA interfaces missing and some show up with Ifindex naming.
I have a two fold issue. I am testing out with some firewalls specifically a Cisco 5550. I have gone through the documentation to configure ASA Netflow as noted in this forum post. http://forums.manageengine.com/topic/ifindex-is-showing-as-interface-name What i see is out of 14 interfaces only 11 are showing up and out of them 5 have an IfIndex naming convention. I ran snmpwalk.sh (with command below) and can see all the interfaces properly being retrieved via the walk. snmpwalk.sh<ROUTER_IP><SNMP_PORT><SNMP_READ_COMMUNITY>

NetFlow Analyzer Trial - No Maps?
I'm evaluating NetFlow Analyzer and it seems there are alot of things discussed in the user guide that are not present in the actual software/interface I'm seeing via the Evaluation. For instance there is no Google Maps tab. I've set the product up, taken to my Manager and his response is that it needs to be more user friendly/more straight forward in presenting the basic data required. Having maps would help in that. Any further tips in configuring the product to give an interface more suited
How to properly group requests based on the asset involved?
Hi there, At the moment, i know (roughly) how to produce a list of all requests based on the user/requester name. But is there a way to easy do this based on asset? What we're trying to achieve is to perhaps quickly find out how many incident an asset is involved with. Unfortunately when viewing the Requests tab (under technician view), Asset is not listed in the selectable column view. Thank you for your advice.
Dashboard causes SQL server to run slow
Hi We are running build 4544 and whenever an administrator logs in the dashboard screen is not displaying. This is causing our external SQL server to run slowly as the SelfService database is being queried continuously. Is this a known problem, and is there any resolution? Otherwise, is it possible to turn off the dashboard so it doesn't display or query the database? Many thanks Paul

Hello, I'm in an environment that's 80% Windows with some Linux servers, I have the ae-linux.sh working but we have a scheduled scan that fails on those as the servers are not scannable. What's best practice for excluding the Linux boxes from the scan?

We have netflow installed on our device. This was working fine a weeks ago. I stopped the process and had installed another app that uses http as well. Now i notice we cant access the manage engine gui when going to the ip address when in the past it was working. our new app that is not netflow uses the following 1.1.1.1/app http link but manage engine was using 1.1.1.1 previously now what i get is the apache landing page. Is there a way i can force the index.html link from http-equiv="refresh"
How to change Domain for Technician
Hi, We are using build 7605. We are in the process of migrating staff from one active directory forest to a new active directory forest. Once a person has been migrated (account/workstation/mailbox) I need to be able to change the Domain that the technician uses to login to SDP. However, I am unable to do this. I have admin. priviledges and when I open a Technician to edit, and select the new domain from the Domain drop down list in the Login Details section and then click Save, it does not save
Importing Resources from Domain
I have imported Resources from Active Directory by selecting the OU, but some of my computer objects show "Resource imported from domain": domainname. While other objects have the the OU it was imported from and the complete username, not just the machine name. Example: Jackson, Chris is what is shown in the PMP Resource window, but the machine name is JACKSONC. What can I do to get only the machine name to show up and for all the imformation to show "Resource imported from domain": domainname?

I have approximately 1300 PCs in remote locations (non-AD joined) that are turned on at different times of the day and some not very often.
