ADManager Displays Changed Password in Plain Text (HTML)
When you change a password you must type that password into a visually protected pair of boxes (so that no secondary observer might Van Eck your password or similar). The password is transmitted to the server through a secure connection (SSL). Then the response from the server includes the changed password in plain text in the HTML of the response page: Successfully updated the user properties Password ThisIsAFakePassword! Really? This is very un-secure. Can we eliminate that second line?

URL Monitor Name in the generated alarm
I have seen this suggested once before on this site, but that post was from a long while ago and nothing has been done yet. On alarms generated by a URL Monitor, there is no option on the notification profile to include the URL monitors name ( how that wasnt an option from the beginning seems like a flaw.) A lot of the URL's we monitor consist of just IP addresses as opposed to actual names (i.e. 209.128.19.2/.../... and not www.myname.com) so there is no way for us to know which website it is that

Unable to delete URLs
Hi , I am trying to delete URLs through the following page: Admin-->URL Monitor, but I got the following errors: "Unable to delete the selected URL(s)". Please refer to the attachment. BTW, the URL that I am trying to delete is in "Service Down" status. If I add a new URL with "Clear" status, I am able to delete it. Does deleting URL have anything to do with its status? If yes, how can I delete URLs with "Service Down" status? If no, what could be the problem? Thank you and

User login page customisation issue
Hi all, I am very new to this product and I am trialling it out in my environment. It is working well so far apart from a few minor annoyances. Version: 5.0 Build: 5022 I have select the option to Hide Self Service Admin Login. However, whenever I go to the user login page, none of the customisation that the rest of the site has it there. Support Rep activity reporting
We wonder if it is possible to find out what activity a support rep has done in the system? We think we have some support reps defined we don't need.. but we can't tell if they have logged on or not. Hi, we have ADMP installed on one of our servers. Rather than having to remotely connect to the server to run the program, we usually use the 8080 port to connect via our own machines. This has worked for us for a long time. For some reason though it has stopped working. In order for the URL to work someone needs to connect to the server and launch ADMP. Until that's done the URL won't work. We are using version 5240. Is there a way to get the portal to work again without having to connect

Hi, Following is the procedure when IP or host-name changes for any monitored host : (Do not delete and re-add the monitor. Instead update the change to the existing monitor) If new IP/Hostname resolves correctly then there shouldn't be issues with updating the same. Performance issue after installing Eventlog analyzer
Server performance decreased to very slow after the server is added in the ManageEngine Eventlog Analyzer as a host.while investigating the issue, we found paging activity on the server is shoot up to 500+ per second. if we exclude the server from the event analyzer, the performance returns to normal.

User Creation Template Problem
Hi I am having a problem while creating the template. On the user profile tab. When i try and select the container (OU). It does not allow me to select the one i require and also i cannot type it in manually. I have attached a screenshot. Sorry its quite big. When i try and select the circled OU it does not accept it as shown in the selected container field. Even when i press OK the changes do not appear. I need to be able to create users in that OU. If done through AD manually it works fine

1 User manage 2 domains
I am trying to configure a child domain (we have a unique type of setup here), to be access by the current helpdesk technicians, and I am able to only let admins have this access that I can tell. Is there a way short of having to give them each an account in each domain to do this management? How would I go about it? Thank you! -Will
Custom Views on Change Requests
We would like to see custom views available on Changes. One that would be very useful for our management is to allow us to create a view based off of Technician Group. Currently our managers like to be requester and technician to get around this, but I think it would be better to allow them to view open changes for a tech group.
