AD Import on a Linux install
We have a fresh SDP install in a Linux environment. However, when I try to "Import Requesters from Active Directory," I receive an error that states; "Active Directory Authentication is not supported in the Non-Windows installation." How can I import requesters from AD, Enable AD Authentication, and Enable Pass-through Authentication? Thank you!

Database Query Monitor Alarm
I'm currently testing AppManager, more precisely the Database Query Monitor, and having a strange issue, I don't know if it's a bug or not. I configure a simple query monitor (MyMonitor) for a registry count, enabling "show query output", and then configuring an email alarm with a threshold of 100 (If the threshold is < 100, then a mail should be sent). NCM Plug-in and OpManager Enterprise Install?
The install guide does not say, does the Network Change and Configuration Management plugin get installed on the central server or the probe? I have both running on the same box and the installer is prompting for a location to install.... The Netflow and switch-port mapper plugins both install into probe automatically without prompting.

Devixe Expert custom reports not saving
Hi we have DeviceExpert build 5970 in production. When we try creating custom HW inventory reports we are unable to generate or save them. When we generate the report, it opens the home page on the popup window instead. When we save we get an error. This happens when we try selecting specific device types. If we use "custom groups" it seems to be working. What can be done to solve the problem? Thank you

Hi I have configured a custom monitor that test an ALLOT PIPE. I have tested the SNMP with the following command from the server: snmpwalk -v 3 -u MD5 -a MD5 -A MD5UserAuthPassword12 -l authNoPriv 172.24.133.75 .iso.3.6.1.4.1.2603.5.4.2.1.10.7.0.0.48 And so the answer is: iso.3.6.1.4.1.2603.5.4.2.1.10.7.0.0.48 = Counter64: 28061 That works fine. Login Issues to SD+
Having a weird issue with SD+. New instance, fresh install, new server. Users have imported from AD fine. LDAP is configured and connecting fine. If I make a user on the SD+, instead of importing it, and log it in to Local, it works fine The Admin account works fine (on local) dB is MSSQL (same as the original instance) No account, be it a requester or technician, will log in with domain credentials, it just says "username or password incorrect" The same account still works fine on the original

Hi! In our company a solution to request is some file(s) (xls or pdf etc) and some comments to them But we cannot do it now - ServiceDesk has no such feature. Workaround is to attach file with one of the conversation to the requester, but when time pases it's rather difficult to find solution if it is not where expected. Images can ba added to the solution, so why other files cannot?

Cannot clean some monitorings on a MSSQL server
Dear support, the story is : I monitor a MSSQL server with X MSSQL instances using the MSSQL plugin. 2 MSSQL instances have been removed from this server. So I deleted the monitoring of these 2 instances,... BUT the servers is still raising alarm of "MSSQL - XXXXX service is down", even if these two monitoring have been removed. Report Generation Time VS Time Change
I have a number of reports in the service desk plus system (on demand ). These reports have been scheduled to automatic generate every week. To extend the explanation, they will be generate every Monday midnight (or 00:00). These generations are the Central European Time (CET) zone. On October 26th, 2014, all CET time will be minus one hour. Do we have to change the report generation time later one hour to stay at 00:00?

Our Companies naming policy is to use FirstLetter of Given Name, then surname, e.g. msmith for Mark Smith. Replying to Requests - E-Mail CC
Need to know how to do the following when a Technician replies to a Requestor when working a request. 1) Prevent the servicedesk email address from being included in the CC field 2) Prevent originally CC'd people from being included in the CC field. I could not find anything in either the Email Server settings or the Notification Templates for rules related to Replying back to Requestors. The "Reply a Request" does not contain items for anything but the Subject and Body.

Hi, Few days ago i have installed from zero the 11300 on a new server - Windows 2012. I have created 11 new Custom monitors for Cisco equipment and added them to an existing (out of the box template): Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series. I have added 2 devices and all was running fine. I have used some of those monitors on another template also. After some time (1-2 hours) I discovered I have put a wrong threshold for one of the monitors into the template of 3750 switches. Need Advice on Unstable ME OpManager Service
Hello-- We are running OpManager build 11300 with a Central Administration and 4 Probes. *Each probe is on a dedicated VM server with ample allocated resources. The central admin, and 3 of the 4 probes run without problem, however, one probe "Probe 2" has a service problem every day. Hyper-V orphaned VMs
Gents, Rediscovery works very strange. Ip address was changed on VM. Now I see two VMs with the same name. See the attached screenshot. 1 and 2 are the same. But I can't delete 1 or change its ip address. I can delete 2, but I suppose it will delete all my custom settings and monitors. 2 is the real running VM. Would be nice if you can merge VMs with the same name. Or administrators can delete any orphaned VMs. Thanks
Multiple Teams on one installation
We've been using SDP for some time for our IT team but now we are looking to expand it's use across several unrelated teams. The idea is to use a single installation to support different, unrelated teams who do not need or want to see each others requests. Calls will mostly be logged by email with each team receiving email to a different address.
