Web Certificate of Password Manager Pro is shown as vulnerable
Hello Team. We are detecting that from the Password Manager Pro v9901 console vulnerability is shown on the verification of the same Web certificate of the Password Manager Pro console. How can we configure the Password Manager pro Web service so that it does not use the following encryption mechanism? Cannot remote server from Portal
Hello, I'm Salman. I got a problem when access the PMP server through the portal, let say it is pmp.com. I cannot remote into the server-A through pmp.com. But, when I'm inside the pmp.com server, I'm able to remote server-A through the portal. At the first time, I thought it was the firewall port issue, then I'm allowing all the port to the pmp.com server but still no progress. Do you know what happened here?

[Free Webinar] Learn the gray areas of privacy compliance from the viral Monopoly Man
Hi All, The term “privacy” is amorphous and rather subjective. It's even vague in a corporate environment. IT teams are often expected to single-handedly help companies comply with in-house privacy policies and government regulations, as many teams operating outside of IT generally consider privacy to be a technology issue. Several recent regulations across the globe, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), mandate companies to handle the privacy of consumers securely; if they don't,

Can we segment PMP
I'd like to grant the developers their own "branch" inside of PMP to manage with no impact against our production information. How would one go about this?
Secure install with SELinux on CentOS 7
Hello, I am trying to install PMP (Password Manager Pro) on an hardened CentOS 7, with SELinux (hardening based on CIS Benchmark). This is abnormal for a solution of that price (enterprise edition) that there is no official documentation about this, all I can found is people having problems and suggesting solutions. For now, I find out that /tmp must be remount with exec permissions in order to install PMP, or there will be errors like "jre/bin/unpack200 : permission denied". This is the list of
How to deploy PMP agents massively
Hello Team. Is there a manual to massively deploy Password Manager Pro agents for Windows servers? Any script? Any GPO? Any deployment settings of the Password Manager Pro agents through Desktop Central? Regards, Rafael Vega.

wal_archive folder growth
Hi, the WAL_Archive folder for Password Manager Pro is growing excessively. Is it the same "replace archive.bat" fix as for SDP? We're on build 8501 (I'm planning to upgrade to the latest version in the next few weeks but the disk space issue is a higher priority).
PMP Migration/Upgrade issue
In the process of migrating our PMP from 2008 R2 to 2016. Our PMP instance was out of date so I did the ladder of upgrades from 8400 to 9802 on an isolated clone of our PMP server. I installed 9802 on the new 2016 server. From the clone I copied a “instant backup” indicating 9802 to the new server. I installed the 32 bit version since the old server is running 32 bit- that was a lesson learned. The database restores just fine. But when I got to start the PMP service, it fails and I get the following

Separate BDD to PMP
Hello,
I do not know if the question has already been asked and I apologize if it is the case but I have not seen it.
Can we separate the postgreesql DBD or mysql or mssql on another server to separate PMP from the BDD?

Best practice for PMP API user token rotation
I would like to use PMP API user to fetch resource passwords for any deployment scripts, but I do not want to hard code the PMP API token into my scripts. I was planning to use a 2 API token system where tokens validity is overlapping, so I could always script to fetch the API token for next week and retire the old token after this week. I could not find any inbuilt features to support this idea, so was wondering that what is the best practice for rotating API tokens for PMP API users? Password rotation

password reset plugin
I am looking to implement an automatic password reset plugin to automatically reset modem passwords using a custom application written in C# and Selenium Webdriver but am not sure how to obtain the resource properties as arguments (ie resetProps.get("OLDPASSWORD")). Are these passed in automatically by password manager pro? An example in C# would be helpful if anyone has such a beast. thanks

Account Discovery Failures
Hi all, I have a few resources (all Windows 2008 R2 servers, I think) where account discovery fails. It fails immediately and PMP isn't giving me a reason. In the Resource Audit log, it says "Account Discovery Failed" with reason "Reason : " and in the Task Audit Log, it says "Success" for Bulk Account Discovery. I'm able to log into the server with the PMP service account, and have no problem enumerating accounts locally. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks, - Steve
Isolating service accounts
I have an issue where I need to be able to refresh passwords on a collection of user accounts, both local and/or in AD. For example I have a local user on all my servers used for admin access. I also have other local users used by various processes and programs on many of these servers. I need to be able to reset the passwords on ONLY the admin accounts and NOT touch the others. All I see is a way to bulk reset all accounts on selected resources (by the way I despise that term "resource" in this

PMP - reducing number of admins
We're reducing the number of admins and our new license reflects this, but before our current license expires and I install the new key, can anyone tell me what will happen to the "unlicensed" admins? We are a few over at the moment, and I'm not sure what installing the new license key will do to their resources. Thanks.
Migrate to new LDAP server
I have an existing PMP instance (9702) with users which were added by importing them from an LDAP server. We have installed a new LDAP server and I would like those same users to now authenticate against the new LDAP server. It seems the existing users' accounts are tied to the old LDAP server (from which they were imported). Is there any way to associate the users with the new LDAP server without deleting and recreating their accounts and reassigning all of their privileges? Alternatively, is there

Windows Scheduled Task
My PMP installation is having problems finding Scheduled Tasks for a user account I added to the PMP environment. I keep getting the " None of the scheduled tasks in the given resources use NJ\NJsvcAccountTEST as their account. Please check your inputs" error. I am following the directions - I have added a DC, and Domain Admin account. The Scheduled Task is on a different server using a different network account. Any secrets I'm not finding getting this to work? Thanks in advance.
