PMP Migration/Upgrade issue
In the process of migrating our PMP from 2008 R2 to 2016. Our PMP instance was out of date so I did the ladder of upgrades from 8400 to 9802 on an isolated clone of our PMP server.
I installed 9802 on the new 2016 server. From the clone I copied a “instant backup” indicating 9802 to the new server. I installed the 32 bit version since the old server is running 32 bit- that was a lesson learned.
The database restores just fine. But when I got to start the PMP service, it fails and I get the following error in the serverout log:
Latest PMP Build is pointed to the old PMP Database.
