Setting up alert by partition utilisation
Is there a way under 7205 (or later) to alert according to disk space use by partition rather than overall disk utilisation?

Today we added a new UPS to our systems. We gave it an IP of 192.168.1.31, added the hostname and IP to DNS and it is working great. When we tried to add the device to Opmanager we got the following error: "An interface with this IP already exists for the device calnt19.teraint.net" This is not possible, as calnt19 has no interface with that IP. What is the easiest way to monitor the environment Temperature in the serverrom
Hi, I would like to monitor the temperature in the serverrom. I guess the easiest way ist to monitor the node of the APC UPS. But in the template i can't find this monitor, so i added a new monitor with an apc mib. How? Adminpage -> Device templates -> going to "apc ups" and then click on "add monitors". I loaded the apcpower.mib und found an entry called environmenttemperature (SystemIOD .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.2.1.1.0), set the threshold and finished. But now i don't get any data. SNMP Cridential

After changing time to DST, wrong time appears on graphics and reports.

URGENT: SNMP credentials stopped working

Suppressing multiple traps
Hi! My problem is as followed: One device sends multiple traps (always the same) every minute. This device is configured in OpManager that incoming traps are forwarded as a SMS. Now each minute comes up a SMS with the same message. Is it possible that OpManager only sends the first trap an suppresses the following ones if they contain the same message? Adding additional wan links to a existing Wan RTT monitor
Hi. Is there a way to add additional ip addresses to a configured WAN Rtt monitor in OpManager?. I have a working monitor with a business view, customised map, etc and I'd like to add a couple of wan endpoints to monitor, but I don't see any option to edit the monitor, only to add a new one. I could re-create the monitor with the updated links but I want to avoid that if it's possible because I already have a lot of data collected by that monitor and i don't want to lose it only for two wan links.

Receiving "Updates failed"
Hi! I try to set an IP address at one device which only shows 0.0.0.0 If I try to set it I am only reveiving a javascript error message "Updates failed". If I click on "Ping device" I am reveiving the right IP address but I can't fill the right value into the IP address field so it generates an error that the device isn't available. I don't want to delete the device and readd it because there are a lot of values collected which I don't want to loose. I am using OpManager 8024. Hope you can help me

Hi all, We have Opmanger build 8006, install on a Vmware server , running Windows server 2003. We already have a GSM gateway on our network. The question is, how do we config opmanger to send a sms via our gateway (NOT the sms modem attached) when there is a fault ? Switch Port Mapper - If scan failed then always failed
Hi, I test Oputils 5.6 Build 5603 with 10 Cisco-Switche. In the Switch Port Mapper Tool sometimes break the scan on some switches with failed. All the same how often scan is repeated status remains failed. If I removes the "failed" Switches and adds it again - it functions again excellently. I use the newest Version of OpUtils. Though we add two servers newly,we received messages which number of devices exceeds permissible limit of 10 devices. Why does such a message appear? How can I add the two servers? Linux Installation via commandline
Folks, Could someone point me to the installation doc for Linux without GUI? I don't have X installed on the server, just command line. I've tried to run ./ManageEngine_OpManager.bin -console, but that did not work... I have sun-java6-jdk installed, and I see Sun Java JVM starting, but then it drops back to the command prompt, with no error message whatsoever. I am running Ubuntu 8.04 server. Thanks you. Paul

We currently have OpManager, NetFlow and ServiceDesk running in our network. Opmanager has indicated it's able to integrate with the other two programs, however, each program is resident on a separate server. Is there a way to integrate them in this scenario?

Hi, We have a router that's currently displaying Response Time: N/A, as well as packet loss: N/A. This router is pingable, we can tracert,connect, do everything via Opmanager, (Availability, Memory and CPU usage are displaying correctly) and the credentials are correct. When I go to routers page in OpManager and want to add router for monitoring, I can add router by name or IP address. Than I can choose netmask for IP address. But I can not choose netmask 255.255.255.255. Last netmask in the list is 255.255.255.252. Because of that I cannot choose loopback address as router IP(my loopback have netmask 255.255.255.255). I want to know what is the reason for that situation, will choosing netmask 255.255.255.255 be posibility in some future OpManager versions? Thanks
